Background:Besides maintaining health precautions,vaccination has been the only prevention from SARS-CoV-2,though no clinically proved 100%effective vaccine has been developed till *** this stage,to withhold the debris of this pandemic-experts need to know the impact of the vaccine efficacy rates,the threshold level of vaccine effectiveness and how long this pandemic may extent with vaccines that have different efficacy *** this article,a mathematical model study has been done on the importance of vaccination and vaccine efficiency rate during an ongoing ***:We simulated a five compartment mathematical model to analyze the pandemic scenario in both California,and whole *** considered four vaccines,Pfizer(95%),Moderna(94%),AstraZeneca(79%),and Johnson&Johnson(72%),which are being used rigorously to control the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic,in addition with two special cases:a vaccine with 100%efficacy rate and no vaccine under ***-CoV-2 related data of California,and *** used in this ***:Both the infection and death rates are very high in *** model suggests that the pandemic situation in California will be under control in the last quartile of the year 2023 if vaccination program is continued with the Pfizer *** this time,six waves may happen from the beginning of the immunization where the case fatality and recovery rates will be 1.697%and 98.30%,***,according to the considered model,this period might be extended to the mid of 2024 when vaccines with lower efficacy rates are *** the other hand,the daily cases and deaths in the *** be under control at the end of 2026 with multiple *** the number of susceptible people will fall down to none in the beginning of 2027,there is less chance to stop the vaccination program if vaccinated with a vaccine other than a 100%effective vaccine or Pfizer,and at that case vaccination program must run till the mid of *** to this s

This study is aimed to estimate the epidemiological burden of dengue in Odisha,India using the disability adjusted life year(DALY)methods and to explore the associated factors in the year *** the period of 2010-2016,27772 cases(68.4%male)were reported in the *** age(years)of male and female was 31.63 and 33.82,*** district wise disability adjusted life years(DALY)per 100000 people was higher in the year 2016(0.45)and mean DALY lost per person was highest in the year 2015(34.90 years).Adjusted regression model indicates,every unit increase in humidity and population density increases DALY by 1.05 and 1.02 units ***,unit change in sex ratio(females per 1000 males)and forest coverage increases the DALY by 0.98 *** results indicate geographical variation of DALY in Odisha,which is associated with population density,humidity and forest *** identified between standard incidence and DALY maps suggests,latter can be used to present disease burden more *** prevalence among young males suggests the need of strengthening the targeted prevention and control measures.

在气候变化、环境污染以及人工采集等因素致使珊瑚野生资源不断衰退的背景下,开展珊瑚的人工繁育是修复珊瑚生态系统、保护生物多样性、减少野生珊瑚采集的主要出路之一.本文对国内外珊瑚人工繁育技术和研究进展进行综述,探讨了珊瑚有性和无性繁殖技术以及原地和异地繁育技术的特点与不足;重点从光照、水流、营养盐、微量元素、非自养珊瑚品种的饵料,以及适宜的微生物环境等方面总结了循环海水系统繁育珊瑚的研究进展,并对我国珊瑚研究现状进行了总结.光照是珊瑚水族箱养殖或异地繁殖的关键因素之一,不同种类的珊瑚对光照强度和色温有不同的需求,珊瑚照明创新技术的发展及其能耗对于珊瑚异地繁育非常重要.此外,珊瑚对铵氮、硝氮、亚硝氮及磷酸盐等营养盐的变化非常敏感,各类机械、化学和生物的技术被应用于降低培养体系中营养盐的含量.尽管珊瑚循环海水养殖系统在照明、水流和营养盐控制方面已经有了长足的进步,珊瑚人工繁育仍然任重道远.将来的突破方向在于有性繁殖、性状改造与疾病防治技术等方面.

果园风送喷雾技术与装备正在朝着精准化和智能化方向发展。果园喷雾控制对象主要为喷施药量和风力供给量,二者需要协同精准调控,其按需调控的前提是果园靶标精准探测。该文从果园靶标探测方法、喷施药量控制方法、风力调控方法 3个方面对现有研究进展进行综述,阐述了基于光电感知、超声波传感、激光雷达、图像、光谱和电子鼻技术探测果树位置、冠层外形轮廓、冠层体积、冠层内部结构、枝叶稠密程度、病虫害程度等特征信息的技术方法;分析了喷施药量调控方法中管道总药量控制方法在管道设计、混药方式、药液流量控制策略方面技术和产品化上取得的巨大突破,以及喷头药量独立控制方法研究方面获得的大量成果;综述了果园风送喷雾风速风量需求理论原则、风场雾场建模方法、风力调控方法与调控装备研究进展,指出了其基本理论原则、建模调控方法等科学问题还有待深入探索。同时,还分析了目前研究在果园靶标探测方法、喷施药量调控方法和风送喷雾风力调控方法中面临的困难和挑战,主要包括冠层稠密程度和病虫害程度高效感知方法探索、靶标风力需求普适模型构建、风场建模风力按需调控方法研究和精准喷雾技术与系统集成开发。最后指出了果园风送喷雾精准控制方法未来发展方向:1)果园靶标冠层枝叶稠密程度和病虫害程度在线探测方法将成为新的研究热点;2)果园风送喷雾风速风量供给需求理论原则、风场快速模拟仿真和风力调控方法与装备是未来重要研究方向;3)随着高新科技的涌现,科研院所和公司有望在果园喷雾药量和风力调控系统优化设计及精准喷雾机系统集成研发方面获得更大发展。

The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged global health and national economies *** and isolation are effective control strategies to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19,especially in the early stage of the disease *** this paper,we develop a deterministic model to investigate the impact of testing and compliance with isolation on the transmission of *** derive the control reproduction number R_(C),which gives the threshold for disease elimination or *** data from New York state in the early stage of the disease outbreak,we estimate R_(C)=7:*** elasticity and sensitivity analyses show that testing and compliance with isolation are significant in reducing R_(C) and disease *** reveals that only high testing volume combined with a large proportion of individuals complying with isolation have great impact on mitigating the *** testing starting date is also crucial:the earlier testing is implemented,the more impact it has on reducing the *** results obtained here would also be helpful in developing guidelines of early control strategies for pandemics similar to COVID-19.

目的融合穿梭肽和狂犬病单链抗体,优化在大肠杆菌中的表达条件,获得具有中和活性的重组穿梭肽-单链抗体。方法重新编码SO57抗体序列,在N端融合Arg12的穿梭肽,构建pET22(b)-rSO57表达载体,在大肠杆菌中重组表达。在菌体生长密度OD600、诱导时间、诱导温度和诱导剂浓度条件进行优化,获得较高的表达效果。使用固定化金属螯合层析对重组蛋白进行纯化,测定了重组单链抗体的相对亲和力,通过rSO57/CVS-11混合感染细胞和快速荧光灶抑制实验(rapid fluorescent focus inhibition test,RFFIT),验证重组单链抗体的中和作用。结果 rSO57构建成功,在BL21(de3)中诱导表达,最优表达条件为菌体密度OD600在0.8时,使用0.4 mmol/ml的IPTG诱导,16 ℃下诱导24 h,rSO57以可溶形式表达,表达量占到了菌体可溶性蛋白的19.8%。层析纯化后,获得了纯度为84%的重组rSO57。ELISA实验显示,rSO57的相对亲和力系数Ka=4.3×105。当rSO57与CVS-11混合时,随着稀释的增加,细胞的感染率上升,表明重组抗体具有中和狂犬病病毒的能力。使用RFFIT进行测定,50 μg的rSO57相当于2.17IU的狂犬病中和血清。结论本实验重组表达了融合穿梭肽的重组单链抗体rSO57,且可以中和狂犬病病毒,以期制备可以用于狂犬病治疗的特异性和靶向性的抗病毒药物载体。

BACKGROUND A diverse country like India may have variable intensive care units(ICUs)practices at state and city *** To gain insight into clinical services and processes of care in ICUs in India,this would help plan for potential educational and quality improvement *** The Indian ICU needs assessment research group of diverse-skilled individuals was formed.A pan-India survey"Indian National ICU Needs"assessment(ININ 2018-I)was designed on google forms and deployed from July 23rd-August 25th,*** survey was sent to select distribution lists of ICU providers from all 29 states and 7 union territories(UTs).In addition to emails and phone calls,social medial applications-WhatsApp™,Facebook™and LinkedIn™were used to remind and motivate *** completing and submitting the survey,providers gave their consent for research *** study was deemed eligible for category-2 Institutional Review Board exempt *** There were total 134 adult/adult-pediatrics ICU responses from 24(83%out of 29)states,and two(28%out of 7)UTs in 61 *** had median(IQR)16(10-25)beds and most,were mixed medical-surgical,111(83%),with 108(81%)being adult-only *** responders were young,median(IQR),38(32-44)years age and majority,n=108(81%)were *** consultants were,n=101(75%).A total of 77(57%)reported to have 24 h in-house intensivist.A total of 68(51%)ICUs reported to have either 2:1 or 2≥:1 patient:nurse *** than 80%of the ICUs were open,and mixed *** followed regularly by the ICUs included sepsis care,ventilator-associated pneumonia(83%each);nutrition(82%),deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis(87%),stress ulcer prophylaxis(88%)and glycemic control(92%).Digital infrastructure was found to be poor,with only 46%of the ICUs reporting high-speed internet *** In this large,national,semi-structured,need-assessment survey,the need for improved manpower including;in-house intensivists,and decreasing

气候变化的趋势正在对全球的人群健康造成巨大的威胁,迫切需要各国密切协作,积极应对气候变化,为此《柳叶刀》(The Lancet)杂志成立了"柳叶刀健康与气候变化委员会"(以下简称柳叶刀委员会),评估气候变化对人群健康的影响,并寻找保障人群健康的应对气候变化措施.柳叶刀委员会在2015年报告基础上,启动了"柳叶刀倒计时:追踪健康与气候变化进展"项目(以下简称柳叶刀倒计时)[1],每年在《柳叶刀》上发表全球应对气候变化和保护人群健康的最新进展.
