Objective: This study aims to analyze the distribution of positive human papillomavirus (HPV) infections among women of appropriate age in Beiliu City during cervical cancer screening in 2024, providing data support for subsequent public health interventions. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the HPV test results from January 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024, at Beiliu maternal and child health hospital. We statistically analyzed the positive rates of different HPV genotypes and the co-infection status of multiple genotypes. Results: A total of 7558 individuals were tested, with 1103 positive cases identified, resulting in a positivity rate of 14.59%. Among these, HPV type 52 had the highest positive rate, accounting for 18.47%. The co-infection analysis showed that there were 788 cases with single genotype positivity, 236 with double genotype positivity, and 58 with triple genotype positivity, while cases with multiple genotypes simultaneously positive were relatively rare. Conclusion: The HPV infection rate among women of appropriate age in Beiliu City is relatively high, especially for high-risk HPV types. To reduce the future incidence of cervical cancer, it is recommended to enhance health education and vaccination efforts for this population.

BACKGROUND The efficacy of various bariatric surgeries varies in reducing blood glucose *** the distinct mechanisms and anatomical alterations associated with each procedure,it is crucial to compare their glycemic control *** hypothesize that proximal small intestinal bypass(PSIB)is superior in blood glucose reduction over Roux-en-Y gastric bypass(RYGB)and jejunoileal bypass(JIB).AIM To compare the effectiveness of PSIB,RYGB,and JIB in lowering blood *** Rats with streptozotocin-induced diabetes were randomly divided into PSIB,RYGB,JIB,and sham-operated *** weight,food intake,fasting blood glucose level,oral glucose tolerance test,insulin tolerance test,liver enzymes,and blood lipids were *** Postoperatively,only the JIB group had a lower body weight compared to the sham *** food intake of the rats in all three surgical groups was significantly less than that in the sham *** blood glucose was reduced in all surgical groups and was lower in the PSIB group than in the RYGB and JIB *** tolerance and insulin sensitivity improved in all three surgical groups compared to the sham group,but the improvement appeared earliest in the PSIB *** six weeks postsurgery,the PSIB group showed a reduction in alanine transaminase levels and maintained a normal lipid *** PSIB demonstrated excellent hypoglycemic effects in the early postoperative period,and had better efficacy than RYGB and JIB.

Protein arginine methyltransferase-6 participates in a range of biological functions,particularly RNA processing,transcription,chromatin remodeling,and endosomal ***,it remains unclear whether protein arginine methyl transferase-6 modifies neuropathic pain and,if so,what the mechanisms of this *** this study,protein arginine methyltransferase-6 expression levels and its effect on neuropathic pain were investigated in the spared nerve injury model,chronic constriction injury model and bone cancer pain model,using immunohistochemistry,western blotting,immunoprecipitation,and label-free proteomic *** results showed that protein arginine methyltransferase-6 mostly co-localized withβ-tubulinⅢin the dorsal root ganglion,and that its expression decreased following spared nerve injury,chronic constriction injury and bone cancer *** addition,PRMT6 knockout(Prmt6~(-/-))mice exhibited pain ***,the development of spared nerve injury-induced hypersensitivity to mechanical pain was attenuated by blocking the decrease in protein arginine methyltransferase-6 ***,when protein arginine methyltransferase-6 expression was downregulated in the dorsal root ganglion in mice without spared nerve injury,increased levels of phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinases were observed in the ipsilateral dorsal horn,and the response to mechanical stimuli was ***,protein arginine methyltransferase-6 appeared to contribute to spared nerve injury-induced neuropathic pain by regulating the expression of heterogeneous nuclear ***,protein arginine methyltransfe rase-6-mediated modulation of hete rogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein-F expression required amino atids 319 to 388,but not classical H3R2 *** findings indicated that protein arginine methyltransferase-6 is a potential therapeutic target fo r the treatment of peripheral neuro pathic pain.

Ovarian endometrioma(OE),also known as“chocolate cysts,”is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus,leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea,pelvic pain,and ***,the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown,posing challenges for diagnosis and ***,we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell *** identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with ***,the activation of IGFBP5^(+) macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties,NK cell exhaustion,and aberrant proliferation of IQCG^(+) and KLF2^(+) epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of ***,our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
