The nanomedicine has attracted considerable attentions due to its advantages of good biocompatibility, enhanced therapeutic efficacy and real-time evaluation of drug-induced cell death. Here we utilize liposome functionalized with folate to encapsulate artemisinin and dual-protease activatable nanoprobe for manufacturing a multifunctional nanocapsule(MNC, Fig. 1). The MNC can specifically recognize cancer cells and be selectively taken up by cancer cells via receptor-mediated endocytosis to enter lysosomes, in which artemisinin binds to lysosomal iron to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS). The ROS specially damage the lysosomes and kill cancer cells in a lysosome-associated pathway. The dual-protease activatable probe can realize the detection of artemisinin into lysosome and monitoring of therapeutic response. Therefore, this work provides new insight into the lysosomal cancer cell death and design of multifunctional nanomedicine to promote the accuracy of cancer treatment.

Sprouted potatoes are not allowed for healthy diet.A good knowledge of the sprouting stage of potatoes can help manage the storage conditions and guide market distribution,thus enabling the quality assurance of potatoes on *** article presented an intelligent method for precautionary analysis of potato eyes based on hyperspectral imaging *** potato eyes were classified into two categories according to the time gap to the sprouting date,***-sprouting and pre-sprouting potato eyes,representing eyes about to sprout and eyes that will take a while to *** used for classification were extracted by two methods,including successive projections algorithm(SPA)and a newly-developed sine fit algorithm(SFA).Then classifiers of fisher discriminant analysis(FDA)and least square support vector machine(LSSVM)were utilized for classification of potential sprouting potato *** showed that FDA was more effective than LSSVM in classifying pre-sprouting and by-sprouting potato eyes,and SFA performed well in FDA classifier with the recognition accuracy of 95.3%for prediction *** is concluded that hyperspectral imaging has the potential for predicting the sprouting stages of potato eyes.

The electrochemical energy storage performance is greatly determined by the charge transfer and ion transportation occurring in the electrode ***,the enhancement of electric conductivity and ionic mobility is vital for high-performing and stable metal ion ***,we report the properties of oxygen vacancies(VO)and carbon co-doped TiO_(2) hollow spheres(HS-TiO_(2))and compared them with fully oxidized white TiO_(2) hollow spheres(W-TiO_(2)).Theoretical calculations and experimental results revealed that the introduction of carbon dopant and VO in anatase TiO_(2) reduced the bandgap and the existence of localized electrons,leading to a lower migration barrier of Li ions that promoted faster ion diffusion kinetics,enabling the HS-TiO_(2) with higher reversibility during the insertion and extraction of Li ions than the W-TiO_(2).This HS-TiO_(2) delivered superior lithium storage properties with a specific discharge capacity of 214.6 mAh g^(-1) for the 100th cycle at 200 mA g^(-1) and 116.3 mAh g^(-1) over 2000 cycles at a high rate of 2 A g^(-1).

传统的波动方程线性化近似理论,如一阶Born近似或Rytov近似等,均隐含“弱散射”假设,因此仅适用于弱扰动模型.为克服“弱散射”假设的制约并将波动方程线性化近似理论推广至强扰动模型中,提出了适用于预测前向散射波相位扰动的保相位理论.通过将标量声波方程Rytov变换得到的非线性Ricatti方程中关于未知解(即散射场复相位)的积分,在Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin-Jeffreys(WKBJ)近似下转化为对散射角和模型扰动的积分,给出了前向散射场相位扰动的显式积分表达.理论推导表明:对于一维波传播问题,保相位理论可以精确预测任意速度扰动模型中前向散射波的相位扰动.对于小角度前向散射,保相位理论可以进行线性化近似,得到广义Rytov近似.数值实验表明,对于高维问题,相比于一阶Rytov近似,广义Rytov近似可以更好地预测前向小角度散射场的相位扰动,且适用于强速度扰动模型.广义Rytov近似拓展了Rytov近似的成立条件和适用范围,可以直接应用于地震层析成像及医学超声透射成像中,从而降低层析反问题对初始模型的依赖性并加速反演收敛.

Endoscopic stone segmentation is of great significance in the comprehensive diagnosis and surgical planning of ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Due to the quality problems of endoscopic imaging, such as artifact, highlight, reflection, contrast imbalance and blur, it is a great challenge to segment kidney stone fragments of different shapes. In this study, the improved U-Net model was used to extract the kidney stone fragment area at the pixel level, and its contour information could be accurately obtained. The VGG16 network with strong portability is used as the encoder of U-Net model to extract the semantic information of multiple feature layers, and the up-sampling is realized by using transposal convolution to gradually restore the segmentation *** the experiment, DCE Loss combining Dice Loss and Cross Entropy Loss is adopted as the Loss function of the *** experimental results show that the improved U-Net model has higher accuracy for stone segmentation from endoscopic images, with the MPA, MIoU and F1 score of 96.44%, 97.62% and 97.03% respectively. The F1 score of the modified model is 2.25% higher than that of Deeplabv3 + model, and 14.24% higher than that of standard U-Net model.

Stanene(Sn)-based materials have been extensively applied in industrial production and daily life,but their potential biomedical application remains largely unexplored,which is due to the absence of the appropriate and effective methods for fabricating Sn-based ***,we explored a new approach combining cryogenic exfoliation and liquid-phase exfoliation to successfully manufacture two-dimensional(2D)Sn nanosheets(SnNSs).The obtained SnNSs exhibited a typical sheet-like structure with an average size of~100 nm and a thickness of~5.1 *** PEGylation,the resulting PEGylated SnNSs(SnNSs@PEG)exhibited good stability,superior biocompatibility,and excellent photothermal performance,which could serve as robust photothermal agents for multi-modal imaging(fluorescence/photoacoustic/photothermal imaging)-guided photothermal elimination of ***,we also used first-principles density functional theory calculations to investigate the photothermal mechanism of SnNSs,revealing that the free electrons in upper and lower layers of SnNSs contribute to the conversion of the photo to *** work not only introduces a new approach to fabricate 2D SnNSs but also establishes the SnNSs-based nanomedicines for photonic cancer *** new type of SnNSs with great potential in the field of nanomedicines may spur a wave of developing Sn-based biological materials to benefit biomedical applications.
