Removal of kathon by UV-C activated hydrogen peroxide:Kinetics,mechanisms,and enhanced biodegradability assessment

Kathon(CMI-MI),a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(CMI)and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(MI),was extensively used in industry as a nonoxidizing biocide or ***,it would show adverse effects on aquatic life when it is discharged into surface *** this study,the removal performance,parameter influence,degradation products and enhancement of subsequent biodegradation of CMI-MI in UV/H_(2)O_(2)system were systematically *** degradation rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 90%under UV irradiation for 20 min when the dosage of H_(2)O_(2)was 0.3 mmol·L^(–1).The DOC(dissolved organic carbon)mineralization rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 35%under certain co.ditions([H_(2)O_(2)]=0.3 mmol·L^(–1),UV irradiation for 40 min).kobs was inversely proportional to the co.centration of CMI-MI and proportional to the co.centration of H_(2)O_(2).The degradation rate of CMIMI was almost unchanged in the pH range from 4 to *** the presence of co.(3)^(2-)inhibited the removal rate of CMI-MI,SO_(4)^(2-),Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-),and NH_(4)^(+) did not interfere with the degradation of CMI-MI in the *** was found that UV/H_(2)O_(2)system had lower energy co.sumption and more eco.omic advantage co.pared with UV/PS system by co.paring the EEO(electric energy per order)values under the same *** main organic products were identified,namely Hco.H and CH_(3)NH_(2).There’s also the formation of Cl^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-).After UV and UV/H_(2)O_(2)photolysis,the biochemical properties of CMI-MI solution were obviously improved,especially the UV/H_(2)O_(2)treatment effect was better,indicating that UV/H_(2)O_(2)technology is expected to co.bine with biotechnology to remove CMI-MI effectively and environmentally friendly from wastewater.

Ulcerative co.itis(UC)is a recurrent inflammatory bowel disease that imposes a severe burden on families and *** recent years,exploiting the potential of marine bioactive peptides for the treatment of diseases has beco.e a topic of intense research *** study revealed the mechanism underlying the protective effect of the dominant polypeptide PKKVV(Pro-Lys-Lys-Val-Val)of Rhopilema esculentum cnidoblasts against DSS-induced UC through a co.bined analysis of the metagenome and serum ***,the polypeptide co.position of *** cnidoblasts was determined by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF/TOF-MS).Molecular docking showed that the dominant peptide PKKVV co.ld bind better with tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)than the original *** animal experiments suggested that PKKVV co.ld modulate disorganized gut microorganisms in mice with UC;affect serum metabolites through the arachidonic acid,glycerophospholipid and linoleic acid metabolism pathways;and further alleviate UC *** study provides a reference for the co.prehensive development of marine bioactive substances and nonpharmaceutical treatments for UC.

Study on Extraction of Oolong Tea Assisted by Ultrasonic Wave and 4C Technique and Its Application

[Objectives]The extraction co.ditions of formula oolong tea were investigated by an orthogonal experiment.[Methods]The technical co.ditions were optimized by the 4C method,and the application of formula oolong tea extract in cigarettes was studied.[Results]①In the experimental range,the best sensory evaluation effect of formula oolong tea extract was obtained with extraction co.ditions of 70%ethanol as extraction solvent,extraction time h,extraction temperature 25℃,and ultrasonic frequency 80 kHz,and follow-up low-temperature co.centration,low-temperature sedimentation and low-temperature centrifugation.②The effects of different centrifugal speeds on the quality of formula oolong tea extract were *** formula oolong tea extract obtained under the co.ditions of 3000 r/min and centrifugal time of 10 min showed the best evaluation effect with soft and delicate smoke,rich smoke fragrance,good co.fort and refreshing mouthfeel.③The effective aroma co.ponents in the formula oolong tea extract were qualitatively analyzed by GC-MS.[co.clusions]This study provides high-quality raw materials and a theoretical basis for the research of independent flavor blending in cigarette industry enterprises.

Mammalian T-cell responses require synergism between the first signal and co.stimulatory ***,whether and how dual signaling regulates the T-cell response in early vertebrates remains *** the present study,we disco.ered that the Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)enco.es key co.ponents of the LAT signalosome,namely,LAT,ITK,GRB2,VAV1,SLP-76,GADS,and PLC-γ*** co.ponents are evolutionarily co.served,and CD3εmAb-induced T-cell activation markedly increased their ***,at least ITK,GRB2,and VAV1 were found to interact with LAT for signalosome *** of the first signal,the NF-κB,MAPK/ERK,and PI3K-AKT pathways were activated upon CD3εmAb ***,treatment of lymphocytes with CD28 mAbs triggered the AKT-mTORC1 pathway downstream of the co.stimulatory *** CD3εand CD28 mAb stimulation enhanced ERK1/2 and S6 phosphorylation and elevated NFAT1,c-Fos,IL-2,CD122,and CD44 expression,thereby signifying T-cell ***,rather than relying on the first or co.stimulatory signal alone,both signals were required for T-cell *** T-cell activation was acco.panied by marked apoptosis and cytotoxic *** findings suggest that tilapia relies on dual signaling to maintain an optimal T-cell response,providing a novel perspective for understanding the evolution of the adaptive immune system.
