In this study,the Stokes formula is used to analyze the separation effect of three-phase separators used in a Oilfield Central Processing *** considered main influencing factors include(but are not limited to)the typical size of oil and water droplets,the residence time and temperature of fluid and the dosage of *** the“Specification for Oil and Gas Separators”as a basis,the control loops and operating parameters of each separator are optimized Considering the Halfaya Oilfield as a testbed,it is shown that the proposed approach can lead to good results in the production stage.

The global disease burden of diabetes mellitus is high. It is well-established that prediabetes is reversible but it is unclear whether diabetes is reversible once it has been diagnosed. The objective of this narrative review is to review the evidence of reversibility of diabetes me-llitus and stimulate interest in prolonged remission as a treatment target. The current evidence for bariatric surgery is stronger than intensive medical management and the evidence is stronger for type 2 diabetes pa-tients compared with type 1 diabetes patients. It is also unclear whether non obese diabetes patients would benefit from such interventions and the duration of diabetes before diabetes become irreversible. Further research is needed in this area especially with regards to the subgroup of diabetes patient who will benefit from these interventions and the long term safety and efficacy remains unknown especially with intensive me-dical management.

A New Revocable and Re-Delegable Proxy Signature and Its Application

With the popularity of cloud computing and mobile Apps, on-demand services such as on-line music or audio streaming and vehicle booking are widely available nowadays. In order to allow efficient delivery and management of the services, for large-scale on-demand systems, there is usually a hierarchy where the service provider can delegate its service to a top-tier （e.g., countrywide） proxy who can then further delegate the service to lower level （e.g., region-wide） proxies. Secure （re-）delegation and revocation are among the most crucial factors for such systems. In this paper, we investigate the practical solutions for achieving re-delegation and revocation utilizing proxy signature. Although proxy signature has been extensively studied in the literature, no previous solution can achieve both properties. To fill the gap, we introduce the notion of revocable and re-delegable proxy signature that supports efficient revocation and allows a proxy signer to re-delegate its signing right to other proxy signers without the interaction with the original signer. We define the formal security models for this new primitive and present an efficient scheme that can achieve all the security properties. We also present a secure on-line revocable and re-delegate vehicle ordering system （RRVOS） as one of the applications of our proposed scheme.

The Global Positioning System(GPS)has become a foundation for most location-based services and navigation systems,such as autonomous vehicles,drones,ships,and wearable ***,it is a challenge to verify if the reported geographic locations are valid due to various GPS spoofing *** tools,such as Fake GPS,Lockito,and software-defined radio,enable ordinary users to hijack and report fake GPS coordinates and cheat the monitoring server without being ***,it is also a challenge to get accurate sensor readings on mobile devices because of the high noise level introduced by commercial motion *** this end,we propose DeepPOSE,a deep learning model,to address the noise introduced in sensor readings and detect GPS spoofing attacks on mobile *** design uses a convolutional and recurrent neural network to reduce the noise,to recover a vehicle's real-time trajectory from multiple sensor *** further propose a novel scheme to map the constructed trajectory from sensor readings onto the Google map,to smartly eliminate the accumulation of errors on the trajectory *** reconstructed trajectory from sensors is then used to detect the GPS spoofing *** with the existing method,the proposed approach demonstrates a significantly higher degree of accuracy for detecting GPS spoofing attacks.

BACKGROUND Surgery remains the primary treatment for localized colorectal cancer(CRC).Improving surgical decision-making for elderly CRC patients necessitates an accurate predictive *** To build a nomogram to predict the overall survival of elderly patients over 80 years undergoing CRC *** Two hundred and ninety-five elderly CRC patients over 80 years undergoing surgery at Singapore General Hospital between 2018 and 2021 were identified from the American College of Surgeons–National Surgical Quality Improvement Program(ACS-NSQIP)*** variables were selected using univariate Cox regression,and clinical feature selection was performed by the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression.A nomogram for 1-and 3-year overall survival was constructed based on 60%of the study cohort and tested on the remaining 40%.The performance of the nomogram was evaluated using the concordance index(C-index),area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC),and calibration *** groups were stratified using the total risk points derived from the nomogram and the optimal cut-off *** curves were compared between the high-and low-risk *** Eight predictors:Age,Charlson comorbidity index,body mass index,serum albumin level,distant metastasis,emergency surgery,postoperative pneumonia,and postoperative myocardial infarction,were included in the *** AUC values for the 1-year survival were 0.843 and 0.826 for the training and validation cohorts,*** AUC values for the 3-year survival were 0.788 and 0.750 for the training and validation cohorts,respectively.C-index values of the training cohort(0.845)and validation cohort(0.793)suggested the excellent discriminative ability of the *** curves demonstrated a good consistency between the predictions and actual observations of overall survival in both training and validation cohorts.A significant difference in overall survival wa

A space called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)cyber is a new environment where UAV,Ground Control Station(GCS)and business processes are *** of service(DoS)attack is a standard network attack method,especially suitable for attacking the UAV *** is a robust security risk for UAV cyber and has recently become an active research *** theory is typically used to simulate the existing offensive and defensive mechanisms for DoS attacks in a traditional *** addition,the honeypot,an effective security vulnerability defense mechanism,has not been widely adopted or modeled for defense against DoS attack UAV *** this motivation,the current research paper presents a honeypot game theorymodel that considersGCS andDoS attacks,which is used to study the interaction between attack and defense to optimize defense *** GCS and honeypot act as defenses against DoS attacks in this model,and both players select their appropriate methods and build their benefit function *** this basis,a hierarchical honeypot and G2A network delay reward strategy are introduced so that the defender and the attacker can adjust their respective strategies ***,by adjusting the degree of camouflage of the honeypot for UAV network services,the overall revenue of the defender can be effectively *** proposed method proves the existence of a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium and compares it with the existing research on no delay rewards and no honeypot defense *** addition,this method realizes that the UAV cyber still guarantees a network delay of about ten milliseconds in the presence of a DoS *** results demonstrate that our methodology is superior to that of previous studies.

Recent developments in heterogeneous identity federation systems have heightened the need for the related trust management *** trust management system evaluates,manages,and shares users’trust *** service provider(SP)members of the federation system rely on users’trust values to determine which type and quality of service will be provided to the *** identity federation systems have the potential to help federated users save time and energy and improve service experience,the benefits also come with significant privacy *** far,there has been little discussion about the privacy protection of users in heterogeneous identity federation *** this paper,we propose a trust value sharing scheme based on a proxy ring signature for the trust management system in heterogeneous identity federation *** ring signature schemes can ensure the validity of the data and hide the original signer,thereby protecting ***,no group manager participating in the ring signature,which naturally matches with our decentralized heterogeneous identity federation *** proxy signature can reduce the workload of the private key *** proposed scheme shortens the calculation time for verifying the signature and then reduces the overall time consumption in the process of trust *** studies prove that the proposed scheme is privacy-preserving,efficient,and effective.

Fifth-generation(5G)systems have brought about new challenges toward ensuring Quality of Service(QoS)in differentiated *** includes low latency applications,scalable machine-to-machine communication,and enhanced mobile broadband *** order to satisfy these requirements,the concept of network slicing has been introduced to generate slices of the network with specific *** order to meet the requirements of network slices,routers and switches must be effectively configured to provide priority queue provisioning,resource contention management and *** routers from vendors,such as Ericsson,Cisco,and Juniper,have traditionally been an expert-driven process with static rules for individual flows,which are prone to sub optimal configurations with varying traffic *** this paper,we model the internal ingress and egress queues within routers via a queuing *** effects of changing queue configuration with respect to priority,weights,flow limits,and packet drops are studied in *** is used to train a model-based Reinforcement Learning(RL)algorithm to generate optimal policies for flow prioritization,fairness,and congestion *** efficacy of the RL policy output is demonstrated over scenarios involving ingress queue traffic policing,egress queue traffic shaping,and one-hop router coordinated traffic *** is evaluated over a real application use case,wherein a statically configured router proved sub optimal toward desired QoS *** automated configuration of routers and switches will be critical for multiple 5G deployments with varying flow requirements and traffic patterns.
