Herein,we report a novel sensor to detect trypsin using a purpose-designed fluorescein-labelled peptide with negatively charged carbon nanoparticles(CNPs)modified by acid *** fluorescence of the fluorescein-labelled peptide was quenched by *** sensor reacted with trypsin to cleave the peptide,resulting in the release of the dye moiety and a substantial increase in fluorescence intensity,which was dose-and time-dependent,and trypsin could be quantified ***,the biosensor has led to the development of a convenient and efficient fluorescent method to measure trypsin activity,with a detection limit of 0.7 mg/*** method allows rapid determination of trypsin activity in the normal and acute pancreatitis range,suitable for point-of-care ***,the applicability of the method has been demonstrated by detecting trypsin in spiked urine samples.

2-Deoxy-α-C-Glycosides are a significant class of carbohydrates found in numerous bioactive molecules and *** a concise strategy for the assembly of these α-configured C-glycosides is crucial in the field of carbohydrate ***,current methods are restricted to the utilization of glycosyl radical precursors,which are required for ***,we present a novel approach for the synthesis of 2-deoxy-α-C-glycosides using a nickel-catalyzed stereoselective coupling reaction with commercially available ***,this method circumvents the preparation for diverse glycosyl radical *** developed protocol exhibits a broad substrate scope and remarkable stereoselectivity under mild reaction ***,the raw materials required for this process are readily accessible,eliminating the necessity for pre-functionalization modifications of the glycosyl substrates and ensuring high atomic economy.

Spermine assumes a pivotal role in assessing food safety due to its potential to induce a spectrum of diseases upon excessive ***,contemporary spermine detection methodologies,exemplified by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),demand costly instrumentation and the expertise of skilled *** address this challenge,the study introduces a portable fluorescence sensing *** fluorescent probes were realized through the utilization of CdS quantum dots deeply doped with Ag^(+)(CdS:Ag QDs)and nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots(N-CQDs).Hydrogen bonds formed between CdS:Ag QDs and spermine result in the formation of the assembly and the decreasing of the fluorescence *** an effort to broaden the applicative scope and streamline deployment processes,fluorescent sensing hydrogels were meticulously engineered,capitalizing on the swelling properties inherent in polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)*** systematic delineation of the correlation between 1-R/B and spermine concentration facilitates the quantitative determination of spermine *** incorporation of this composite construct serves to alleviate environmental influences on the probes,thereby augmenting their *** portable fluorescent sensing platform proves pivotal in expeditiously measuring spermine concentration within the fluorescent sensing hydrogel,enabling a quantitative assessment of pork *** utilization of this platform for food freshness evaluation imparts the benefits of convenience,cost-effectiveness,and intuitive operation.

Phase change solvents are attractive energy-efficient absorbents for carbon dioxide(CO_2) capture due to CO_2-rich phase formation. Potassium prolinate + water + ethanol(ProK/W/Eth) solution has shown good capture characteristics as a promising one in our previous work. In this work, absorption rate of CO_2, solubility of N2 O,and heat of absorption for ProK/W/Eth solution were investigated using a stirred cell reactor and a CPA201 reaction calorimeter and these results were also compared with the aqueous ProK and 30 mass% MEA *** ethanol as a solvent can substantially increase the CO_2 physical solubility and the absorption rate of CO_2 in ProK/W/Eth solutions is far higher than that in aqueous 30 mass% MEA solutions especially at a low CO_2 loading range. Solid precipitation, obtained from the liquid-to-solid phase change absorption, was analyzed by13 C NMR and DSC-TGA. The enthalpy change for ProK/W/Eth solutions at various CO_2 loading was also discussed.

In 1989 when functional programming was still considered a niche topic, Hughes wrote a visionary paper arguing convincingly ‘why functional programming maters’. More than two decades have passed. Has functional programming really matered? Our answer is a resounding ‘Yes!’. Functional programming is now at the forefront of a new generation of programming technologies, and enjoying increasing popularity and inluence. In this paper, we review the impact of functional programming, focusing on how it has changed the way we may construct programs, the way we may verify programs, and fundamentally the way we may think about programs.

The ureido-modification of the resin-bound a luteinizing hormone releasing hormone （LHRH） analogue was investigated by CDI-activating method. The amino group at the side chain of LHRH analogue could be transformed into various substituted urea moieties in high yields. However, its terminal amino group was partially converted to a hydantoin structure due to the attack of the N atom of the adjacent amide bond.

Electrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2) to fuels and chemicals possesses huge potential to alleviate current environmental *** doping in metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)single-atom catalysts(SACs)has been found to be capable to promote the electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).However,the origin of the enhanced activity is still ***,we report that sulfur-doped cobalt-nitrogen-carbon single-atom catalyst(Co1-SNC)exhibits superior CO_(2)RR performance compared to sulfur-free counterpart(Co1-NC).On the basis of in situ attenuated total reflectance surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS),kinetic isotope effect(KIE)and theoretical calculation,it is demonstrated that sulfur doping can promote water activation,elevate the d-band center of Co active site,and reduce the free energy of*COOH intermediate *** work deepens the understanding of the CO_(2)RR chemistry over heteroatom-doped SACs for designing efficient CO_(2)RR processes.

Spin glasses(SGs),generally defined as disordered systems with randomized competing interactions,are widely investigated complex *** the ground states of spin glasses is crucial for understanding the nature of disordered magnets and many other physical manifestations,while also helping to solve some hard combinatorial optimization problems across multiple ***,the intrinsic cause of SG has always been elusive,especially in spinel oxide ***,we report the SG behavior observed in the cubic spinel oxides CoCrGaO_(4),and provide a comprehensive understanding of its intrinsic *** results indicate a frustrated state under multi-magnetic competition,and the features of SG are confirmed by susceptibility *** fitting parameters ofτ0,T0,and zv of isothermal remanent magnetization further reveal the relaxation behavior and strong spin ***,the varying exchange coupling under different temperatures and magnetic fields is unveiled,which should be responsible for the disordered *** studies unravel the underlying mechanism responsible for doping-induced magnetic frustration and introduce CoCrGaO_(4)as a potential platform for investigating spin glass behavior,thereby advancing fundamental research on frustrated magnetism within the spinel system.
