To extend the current understanding of the mercury-mediated cytotoxic effect,five neural cell lines established from different animal species were comparatively analyzed using three different endpoint bioassays：thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide,3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay（MTT）,neutral red uptake assay（NRU）,and Coomassie blue assay（CB）.Following a 24-hr exposure to selected concentrations of mercury chloride（HgCl_2） and methylmercury（Ⅱ） chloride（MeHgCl）,the cytotoxic effect on test cells was characterized by comparing their 50%inhibition concentration（IC_（50）） *** results indicated that both these forms of mercury were toxic to all the neural cells,but at very different *** IC_（50）values of MeHgCl among these cell lines ranged from 1.15±0.22 to 10.31 ± 0.70 μmol/L while the IC_（50） values for HgCl_2 were much higher,ranging from 6.44 ± 0.36 to 160.97±19.63 μmol/L,indicating the more toxic nature of *** IC_（50） ratio between HgCl_2and MeHgCl ranged from 1.75 to 96.0,which confirms that organic mercury is much more toxic to these neural cells than inorganic *** these cell lines,HGST-BR and TriG44 derived from marine sea turtles showed a significantly high tolerance to HgCl_2 as compared to the three mammalian neural *** these neural cells,SK-N-SH represented the most sensitive cells to both chemical forms of mercury.

Among the harmful occupational factors,noise is the most common exposure in the oil industrial *** present study aimed to prioritize sound pollution areas in central processing facilities(CPF)of an oil field in order to provide corrective action in the studied industry and similar *** reviewing the issued permit to work,job description and noise dosimetry test,the evaluated areas were selected then sound pressure levels in the referenced areas investigated according to ISO 9612–2009(E)next the noise map prepared for all selected *** identifying the prioritized areas to implement the control measures NCPI was *** identifying the first priority area with sound pressure levels greater than 85 dB,the frequency analysis was performed and Isosonic map was prepared by Surfer v10 and AutoCAD *** the last step,in order to provide appropriate corrective action plan,the compatibility of the determined control actions with the production process was *** findings of this study indicates that 74%of the aforesaid area has the first priority to perform control measures in the caution zone and the remaining 26%is in the danger *** this study it has been demonstrated that implementing control measures for Zone 2 have first *** main source of the noise in this zone is fluid(Gas)flow through the piping and HP Gas *** results of this study shows that using effective factors such as exposure time,sound pressure level and number of exposed persons,can be present suitable model to prioritize noise control.

This study assessed the influence of occupational stress,individual resilience,and organizational resilience on the safety performance of healthcare providers during the COVID-19 *** variables including age,work experience,and gender were *** were collected from 344 healthcare providers employed at a teaching *** entropy method and the multi-criteria decision-making(MCDM)method were used to examine the influence of occupational stress,individual resilience,and organizational resilience on the safe performance of healthcare *** results of the entropy method showed that organizational resilience was the most influential factor in the safe performance of older healthcare *** contrast,individual resilience was the most significant factor in enhancing the safety performance of younger healthcare *** of work experience indicated that individual resilience was the most influential factor in the safe performance of less experienced healthcare ***-based analysis revealed that individual resilience had a major effect on the safety performance of both women and *** findings of this study could assist managers in improving the performance of the healthcare sector during pandemics by using and implementing resilience concepts at both the individual and organizational levels.

The role of Fas/Fas ligand （FasL） in mediating alveolar macrophage （AM）-derived inflammatory cytokines in 29 human lung silicosis patients and 6 controls was studied. Objective Antimony(Sb)has recently been identified as a novel nerve poison,although the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying its neurotoxicity remain *** study aimed to assess the effects of the nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway on antimony-induced astrocyte *** Protein expression levels were detected by Western ***,cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions separation were used to assess the distribution of *** expression of protein in brain tissue sections was detected by *** levels of mRNAs were detected by Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results Antimony exposure triggered astrocyte proliferation and increased the expression of two critical protein markers of reactive astrogliosis,inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),indicating that antimony induced astrocyte activation in vivo and in *** exposure consistently upregulated the expression of inflammatory ***,it induced the NF-κB signaling,indicated by increased p65 phosphorylation and translocation to the ***-κB inhibition effectively attenuated antimony-induced astrocyte ***,antimony phosphorylated TGF-β-activated kinase 1(TAK1),while TAK1 inhibition alleviated antimonyinduced p65 phosphorylation and subsequent astrocyte *** Antimony activated astrocytes by activating the NF-κB signaling pathway.

Workers’exposure to excessive noise is a big universal work-related *** of the major consequences of exposure to noise is permanent or transient hearing *** current study sought to utilize audiometric data to weigh and prioritize the factors affecting workers’hearing loss based using the Support Vector Machine(SVM)*** cross sectional-descriptive study was conducted in 2017 in a mining industry in southeast *** participating workers(n=150)were divided into three groups of 50 based on the sound pressure level to which they were exposed(two experimental groups and one control group).Audiometric tests were carried out for all members of each *** study generally entailed the following steps:(1)selecting predicting variables to weigh and prioritize factors affecting hearing loss;(2)conducting audiometric tests and assessing permanent hearing loss in each ear and then evaluating total hearing loss;(3)categorizing different types of hearing loss;(4)weighing and prioritizing factors that affect hearing loss based on the SVM algorithm;and(5)assessing the error rate and accuracy of the *** collected data were fed into SPSS 18,followed by conducting linear regression and paired samples *** was revealed that,in the first model(SPL85 dBA),the frequency of 4 KHz had the highest impact(with a weight of 22%),while the frequency of 250 Hz had the smallest influence(with a weight of 3%).The accuracy of this model was 100%*** the fourth model,the frequency of 4 KHz had the greatest effect(with a weight of 24%),while the

Objective The changes in serum adipokines and cytokines related to oxidative stress were examined during 3 months ‘Off to On’ and ‘On to Off’ periods using negatively charged particle-dominant indoor air conditions（NCPDIAC）.Methods Seven volunteers participated in the study,which included ‘OFF to 3 months ON’ periods（ON trials） for a total of 16 times,and ‘ON to 3 months OFF’（OFF trials） periods for a total of 13 *** With the exception of one case,serum amyloid A（SAA） levels decreased significantly during the ON *** Considering that SAA is an acute phase reactive protein such as C reactive protein（CRP）,this observed decrease might indicate the prevention of cardiovascular and atherosclerotic changes,since an increase in high-sensitive CRP is associated with the subsequent detection of these events.

In this paper, desilification for high-aluminium coal fly ash in alkaline media under pressure was reportedto improve the efficiency of sodium leaching. Factors such as the alkaline quantity, reaction temperature, time andliquid-to-solid ratio on desilification were studied in detail. At the same time, the kinetics of desilification were ana-lysed to further reveal the leaching mechanism. The results showed that the alkaline quantity, reaction temperatureand liquid-to-solid ratio had significant effects on the desilification efficiency with increasing reaction time. Themaximum SiO2 leaching rate was 65.78% under the optimal experimental conditions. According to the shrinking coremodel, the process of leaching is controlled by surface chemical reactions in the earlier stage and diffusion of thesolid layer in the later stage.
