In situ plasmonic & electrochemical fiber-optic sensor for multi-metal-ions detection

High precision and high throughput detection of heavy metal ions is essential for water quality monitoring and ***,we propose a plasmonic & electrochemical dual-mode fiber sensing probe for label-free and real-time detection of multiple ions(Pb2+and Cu2+as examples).This sensor comprises a multimode fiber-single mode fiber reflection probe,the outer surface of which is coated with a gold nanofilm to excite the surface plasmon resonance(SPR) optically and simultaneously serves as an electrochemical working *** traditional electrochemical detection,the enrichment of ions cannot be detected in ***,by utilizing the plasmonic & electrochemical dual-mode detection method,various kinds of metal ions can be deposited onto the gold nanofilm and selectively oxidized during forward potential scanning,and the entire electrochemical process can be monitored by SPR *** experimentally demonstrate that the sensor can simultaneously detect Pb2+and Cu2+in a mixed solution in real-time,providing a linear response over the ion concentration range from 10-12to 10-7M and offering an excellent detection limit(1.69×10-14–5.49×10-13M).The proposed dual-mode fiber sensor has the benefits of remote sensing,compact footprint,and cost-effectiveness and shows excellent potential for water quality risk management in difficult-to-reach environments.

FinTech Can Prevent the Formation of Zombie Firms:Evidence from China

The interplay between financial technology(FinTech)and real economy firms has garnered considerable *** paper explores the relationship and mechanism between FinTech and corporate zombification using the data of Chinese A-share listed firms in China from 2011 to *** research findings reveal that FinTech significantly inhibits firm zombification,and FinTech breadth and depth both play a significant role in restraining firm *** exploration indicates that,on the one hand,FinTech reduces friction in the financial market,inhibiting firm zombification by improving firm investment efficiency,especially alleviating *** the other side,FinTech indirectly affects the technological investment,production,and operation of firms,thereby inhibiting firm zombification by increasing their total factor *** analysis suggests that the inhibitory effect of FinTech on corporate zombification is more pronounced for non-stateowned firms and small-sized firms,as well as those in manufacturing industries and highly competitive *** paper provides some novel evidence on evaluating the effect of FinTech on firms and also offers new insights for efficient governance of zombie firms.

The electroreduction of carbon dioxide to generate multicarbon products is significant for achieving a carbon-neutral economy. However, the selectivity for multi-carbon products faces several challenges, such as the intricate nature of the multistep hydrogenation processes, slow reaction kinetics and the bicarbonate precipitate issue caused by alkaline conditions. These factors hinder the extensive utilization of this reaction. Herein, we successfully developed and implemented a tandem electrolyzer cascade to separate and optimize the complex elementary reactions involved in the process of multi-carbon production. Cost-Based Research on Energy management Strategy of Electric Vehicles Using Hybird Energy Storage System

This paper uses the minimization and weighted sum of battery capacity loss and energy consumption under driving cycles as objective functions to improve the economy of Electric Vehicles(EVs)with an hybrid energy storage system composed of power batteries and ***,Dynamic Programming(DP)is employed to determine the objective function values under different weight coefficients,the comprehensive cost consisting of battery aging and power consumption costs,and the relationship between the hybrid power *** also evaluate the real-time fuzzy Energy management Strategy(EMS),fuzzy control strategies,and a strategy based on DP using the World Light vehicle Test Procedure(WLTP)driving cycle and a synthesis driving cycle derived from New European Driving Cycle(NEDC),WLTP,and Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule(UDDS)as ***,the proposed strategy is compared with the fuzzy control strategy and the strategy based on *** with fuzzy energy management strategy(namely FZY-EMS),the proposed EMS reduces the battery capacity loss and system energy *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed EMS in improving EV economy.

Marine microorganisms have long been recognized as potential sources for drug *** was one of the first antifungal natural products and has been used as an antifungal agent for *** this study,12 new griseofulvin derivatives[(±)-1-2,(+)-3,(±)-4,10-12,and 14-15]and two new griseofulvin natural products(9 and 16)together with six known analogues[(-)-3,5-8,and 13]were isolated from the mangrove-derived fungus Nigrospora ***1 treated with 0.3%NaCl or 2%NaBr in rice solid *** 2D structures and absolute configurations were established by extensive spectroscopic analysis(1D and 2D NMR,HRESIMS),ECD spectra,computational calculation,DP4+analysis,and X-ray single-crystal *** 1-4 represent the first griseofulvin enantiomers with four absolute configurations(2S,6'S;2R,6'R;2S,6'R;2R,6'S),and compounds 9-12 represent the first successful production of brominated griseofulvin derivatives from fungi via the addition of NaBr to the culture *** the antifungal assays,compounds 6 and 9 demonstrated significant inhibitory activities against the fungi Colletotrichum truncatum,Microsporum gypseum,and Trichophyton mentagrophyte with inhibition zones varying between 28 and 41 mm(10μg/disc).The structure-activity relationship(SAR)was analyzed,which showed that substituents at C-6,C-7,C-6'and the positions of the carbonyl and double bond of griseofulvin derivatives significantly affected the antifungal activity.

Image semantic segmentation is an essential technique for studying human behavior through image *** paper proposes an image semantic segmentation method for human behavior ***,an end-to-end convolutional neural network architecture is proposed,which consists of a depth-separable jump-connected fully convolutional network and a conditional random field network;then jump-connected convolution is used to classify each pixel in the image,and an image semantic segmentation method based on convolu-tional neural network is proposed;and then a conditional random field network is used to improve the effect of image segmentation of hu-man behavior and a linear modeling and nonlinear modeling method based on the semantic segmentation of conditional random field im-age is ***,using the proposed image segmentation network,the input entrepreneurial image data is semantically segmented to obtain the contour features of the person;and the segmentation of the images in the medical *** experimental results show that the image semantic segmentation method is *** is a new way to use image data to study human behavior and can be extended to other research areas.

Hydrogen is the new age alternative energy source to combat energy demand and climate *** of hydrogen is vital for a nation’s *** of literature provide different methods for storing the produced hydrogen,and the rational selection of a viable method is crucial for promoting sustainability and green ***,hydrogen storage is associated with diverse sustainable and circular economy(SCE)*** a result,the authors consider the situation a multi-criteria decision-making(MCDM)*** infer that previous models for hydrogen storage method(HSM)selection(i)do not consider preferences in the natural language form;(ii)weights of experts are not methodically determined;(iii)hesitation of experts during criteria weight assessment is not effectively explored;and(iv)three-stage solution of a suitable selection of HSM is *** by these gaps,in this paper,authors put forward a new integrated framework,which considers double hierarchy linguistic information for rating,criteria importance through inter-criteria correlation(CRITIC)for expert weight calculation,evidence-based Bayesian method for criteria weight estimation,and combined compromise solution(CoCoSo)for ranking *** applicability of the developed framework is testified by using a case example of HSM selection in *** and comparative analysis reveal the merits and limitations of the developed framework.

From Differential Mode of Association to Tianxia Worldview:A Study on Chinese Entrepreneurial Spirit

China has made significant strides in economic and social development since reform and opening up over the past four *** process has been influenced by the exceptional innovation and entrepreneurship of Chinese business leaders,as well as their profound sentiments of compassion for the world and their *** is of great significance to foster and promote an entrepreneurial spirit with distinctive Chinese *** only is such spirit essential to the high-quality development of enterprises and the economy,but it is also a critical impetus for achieving Chinese ***,there is still a paucity of adequate theoretical discourse on the cultural origins and entrepreneurial spirit of outstanding Chinese business *** paper employs the classical grounded theory method to conduct a 10-year follow-up research on 11 representative entrepreneurs and their *** results indicate that these entrepreneurs exhibit an evolving worldview along the paths of“self-cultivation and moral conduct”,“assisting employees to achieve”,“multilateral symbiosis”,and“the oneness of existence”when interacting with themselves,employees,partners,the general public,and all things in *** entrepreneurial spirit is embodied in this paper as the“Tianxia(all-under-heaven)worldview”.Through theoretical construction,this study defines the concept of“Tianxia worldview”and extensively examines the distinctions and connections between the broadminded“Tianxia worldview”and the kinship-centered“differential mode of association”in terms of internal structure,value orientation,and applicable *** is posited that the transition from the former to the latter is a continuous process of transcendence and evolution of the individual *** study has theoretical significance in the context of advancing the research on the Chinese entrepreneurial spirit,transcending the constraints of the management approach based on the“differential mode of a

A neural m^(6)A pathway regulates behavioral aggregation in migratory locusts

RNA N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A),as the most abundant modification of messenger RNA,can modulate insect behaviors,but its specific roles in aggregation behaviors remain ***,we conducted a comprehensive molecular and physiological characterization of the individual components of the methyltransferase and demethylase in the migratory locust Locusta *** results demonstrated that METTL3,METTL14 and ALKBH5 were dominantly expressed in the brain and exhibited remarkable responses to crowding or *** individual knockdown of methyltransferases(i.e.,METTL3 and METTL14)promoted locust movement and conspecific attraction,whereas ALKBH5 knockdown induced a behavioral shift toward the solitary ***,global transcriptome profiles revealed that m^(6)A modification could regulate the orchestration of gene expression to fine tune the behavioral aggregation of *** summary,our in vivo characterization of the m^(6)A functions in migratory locusts clearly demonstrated the crucial roles of the m^(6)A pathway in effectively modulating aggregation behaviors.
