The transformation and implementation of clinical practice guidelines for integrated traditional chinese medicine(TCM)and Western medicine(WM)is crucial to the adoption of medical science and technological findings and is an important way for TCM to be made available to the ***,clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)of TCM and WM integration in recent years was analyzed to clarify the current situation and problems in the existing guidelines according to the following four perspectives:(1)perspective of TCM and WM integration in guidelines,(2)diagnosis Using integrated TCM and WM,(3)integration of TCM and WM treatment,(4)promoting TCM and WM ***,the information and quality evaluation of CPGs for integrated chinese and Western medicine in 2020–2022 were analyzed to explore the degree and methods of integration of chinese and Western medicine *** last this study aimed to lay a foundation for the further establishment of chinese characteristic,repeatable,and calculable clinical practice guidelines of TCM and WM integration.

Multifunctional drug delivery systems(DDSs)have shown great prospects in overcoming the heterogeneous barrier of delivery drugs to the complex tumor microenvironment(TME).In this study,multifunctional AS/Ge-pNAB microgels with dual-active targeting,triple environment responsiveness,and fluorescence imaging capability were prepared through a straightforward *** was aimed to improve the antitumor therapeutic application of gambogic acid(GA)based on the biological characteristics of *** microgels have a uniform double-layer structure with aptamer in the outer layer which helps in recognizing receptors on the tumor *** GA loaded nano-herb exhibited environment-responsive drug release profiles under acidic pH,reductant and high *** nano-herb significantly improved the accumulation of GA in tumor sites through the synergistic combination of the enhanced permeability and retention effect and dual-ligand mediated ***,it accelerated intracellular drug release and killed tumor ***,the nano-herb had specific therapeutic effects on the tumor in vitro and in vivo as they remarkably inhibited tumor growth while depicting optimal biosafety and lower levels of off-target ***,these findings demonstrate the great potential of the multifunctional AS/Ge-pNAB microgels for precisely targeted GA delivery and open a new avenue for the facile preparation of multifunctional DDSs.

OBJECTIVE: To systematically assess the effects of individualized chinese medicines on recurrent urinary tract infections(rUTIs).METHODS: This study recruited 230 adult female patients in the remission phase of rUTIs from five hospitals in China. The patients were randomly allocated to two groups: an individualized chinese medicine group(n = 114) and a control group(n = 116). Patients in the chinese medicine group received individualized chinese herbs, which were evaluated for syndrome *** in the control group received antibiotic treatment combined with a chinese medicine placebo. The duration of treatment was three courses of four weeks each, with a three-month subsequent follow-up. UTI recurrence rate,traditional chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome scores,36-item Short Form Survey(SF-36) score, and urine secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA) were measured and analyzed before and after treatment in each group. RESULTS: Patients from the chinese medicine group exhibited significant decreases in both short-and longterm UTI recurrence rates compared with the control group(P chinese medicine and control groups were significant(P chinese medicine group were also significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment(P chinese medicine group also demonstrated a significant increase in urine SIg A expression. CONCLUSION: Taken together, compared to the oftenused long-term antimicrobial prophylaxis during the remission stage of r UTIs, treating patients with an individualized chinese medicine decoction by syndrome differentiation could effectively reduce the recurrence rate, improve the patients' TCM syndrome scores and quality of life, and enhance immunity, which in turn helps to prevent antibiotic resistance.
