BACKGROUND Aplasia cutis congenita (ACC) in newborns is a condition in which congenital defects or hypoplasia is present in part of the epidermis,dermis and even subcutaneous tissue (including muscle and bones).First reported by Cordon in 1767,ACC is a rare disease with a low incidence of 1/100000 to 3/***,there are 500 cases reported *** can be accompanied by other *** onset mechanism of the disease remains unknown but is thought to be correlated to factors such as genetics,narrow uterus,foetal skin and amniotic membrane adhesion,use of teratogenic drugs in early pregnancy and viral *** SUMMARY In August 2018,we treated a newborn with ACC on the left lower limbs using a combination of ionic silver dressing and moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) and achieved a satisfactory treatment *** skin defects were observed on the external genitals and on areas from the left foot to 3/4 of the upper left *** tissue and blood vessels were observed in the regions with skin *** following treatments were ***,the wound was rinsed with 0.9% sodium chloride solution followed by disinfection with povidone-iodine *** then MEBO was applied to the wound at a thickness of approximately 1 *** applying ionic silver dressing,the wound was covered with sterile *** wound dressing was replaced every 2-3 *** the 4-mo follow-up,the treatment outcome was *** was minimal scar tissue formation,and limb function was not *** The combination of ionic silver dressing and MEBO to ACC is helpful.

Primary hypertension in a postoperative paraganglioma patient:A case report

Two-year outcomes of ab interno trabeculectomy with the Trabectome for Chinese primary open angle glaucoma： a retrospective multicenter study

AIM： To evaluate the 2-year efficacy and safety of ab interno trabeculectomy with the Trabectome in Chinese primary open angle glaucoma （POAG） patients. METHODS： This was a multicenter, retrospective, observational study and included POAG patients with or without visually-significant cataracts. The Chinese patients were enrolled from three glaucoma centers and a group of comparable Japanese POAG patients was analyzed from our international Trabectome database. The patients received Trabectome or a combined surgery with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation. The primary outcome was intraocular pressure （IOP） reduction. Secondary outcomes included reduction of glaucoma medications, surgical complications, and success at 2y. Success was defined as： 1） IOP≤21 mm Hg and at least 20% IOP reduction from baseline after 3mo at any two consecutive visits; 2） no additional glaucoma surgery required. RESULTS： A total of 42 Chinese POAG patients from three glaucoma centers were enrolled. Twelve patients underwent Trabectome surgery combined with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation while the remainder underwent Trabectome surgery alone. Thirteen patients had a history of failed glaucoma surgery and were considered as complicated cases. In China data, the mean preoperative IOP was 21.4±1.23 mm Hg. The Trabectome lowered IOP to 17.9±1.8 mm Hg at 2y （P=0.05）. The number of glaucoma medications also decreased significantly from a baseline of 2.0±0.9 to 1.1±0.8 at 2y post-surgery （P=0.04）. The overall 2-year success rate was 78%, with patients undergoing combined surgery having a higher success rate compared with those undergoing Trabectome surgery alone （100% vs 76%）. In Japan data, the mean preoperative IOP was 20.8±7.7 mm Hg. The Trabectome lowered IOP to 12.20±2.0 mm Hg at 2y. The number of glaucoma medications also decreased significantly from a baseline of 2.1±0.9 to 3.4±0.6 at 2y post-surgery. In all patients, no major complications were see

目的:探究振幅整合脑电图在早产儿脑发育过程中的变化规律以及其相应的临床意义。方法:选取120例不同孕龄的早产儿,然后用脑功能监护仪对不同孕龄早产儿的a EEG波谱带的变化,分析在早产儿脑发育过程中a EEG各项指标的变化规律。结果:出现a EEG背景连续性和睡眠-觉醒周期的概率随着孕龄的增加而增加,孕龄大于34周的早产儿显著高于其他孕龄的早产儿(P<0.05);而且脑电波下边界振幅随着孕龄的增高而增高,带宽则下降。结论:不同孕龄的早产儿脑发育过程中的振幅整合脑电图有着一定的变化规律,为临床诊断早产儿脑发育程度提供了较可靠的科学依据。

A distinctive kind of organic carbon aerosol that could absorb ultraviolet-visible radiation is called brown carbon(Br C),which has an important positive influence on radiative budget and climate *** this work,we reported the absorption properties and potential source of Br C based on a seven-wavelength aethalometer in the winter of 2018–2019 at an urban site of sanmenxia in Fenwei Plain in central ***,the mean value of Br C absorption coefficient was 59.6±36.0 Mm^(-1) at 370 nm and contributed 37.7%to total absorption,which made a significant impact on visibility and regional *** coefficients of Br C showed double-peak pattern,and Br C had shown small fluctuations under haze days compared with clean *** for the sources of Br C,Br C absorption coefficients expressed strong correlations with element carbon aerosols and primary organic carbon aerosols,indicating that most of Br C originated from primary *** linear correlations between trace metal elements(K,As,Fe,Mn,Zn,and Pb)and Br C absorption coefficients further referred that the major sources of Br C were primary emissions,like coal burning,biomass burning,and vehicle *** moderate relationship between Br C absorption coefficients and secondary organic aerosols suggested that secondary production of Br C also played an important *** 120 hr backward air mass trajectories analysis and concentration-weighted trajectories analysis were also used to investigate potential sources of Br C in and around this area,which inferred most parts of Br C were derived from local emissions.
