Superparamagnetic carbon-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles with high magnetization（85 emu·g-（-1）） and high crystallinity were synthesized using polyethylene glycol-4000（PEG（4000）） as a carbon ***3O4 water-based bilayer-surfactant-enveloped ferrofluids were subsequently prepared using sodium oleate and PEG（4000） as *** using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy indicate that the Fe3O4 nanoparticles with a bilayer surfactant coating retain the inverse spinel-type structure and are successfully coated with sodium oleate and PEG（4000）.Transmission electron microscopy,vibrating sample magnetometry,and particle-size analysis results indicate that the coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles also retain the good saturation magnetization of Fe3O4（79.6 emu·g^-1） and that the particle size of the bilayer-surfactant-enveloped Fe3O4 nanoparticles is 42.97 nm,which is substantially smaller than that of the unmodified Fe3O4 nanoparticles（486.2 nm）.UV-vis and zeta-potential analyses reveal that the ferrofluids does not agglomerate for 120 h at a concentration of 4 g·L^-1,which indicates that the ferrofluids are highly stable.

AIM: To investigate the protective effect of lansoprazoleon ischemia and reperfusion (I/R)-induced rat intestinalmucosal injury in ***: Intestinal damage was induced by clampingboth the superior mesenteric artery and the celiac trunkfor 30 rain followed by reperfusion in male Sprague-Dawleyrats. lansoprazole was given to rats intraperitoneally 1 hbefore vascular ***: Both the intraluminal hemoglobin and proteinlevels, as indices of mucosal damage, significantlyincreased in I/R-groups comparion with those of sham-operation groups. These increases in intraluminal hemoglobinand protein levels were significantly inhibited by the treatmentwith lansoprazole at a dose of 1 mg/kg. Small intestineexposed to I/R resulted in mucosal inflammation that wascharacterized by significant increases in thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances (TBARS), tissue-associatedmyeloperoxidase activity (MPO), and mucosal content of ratcytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant-1 (CINC-1).These increases in TBARS, MPO activities and CINC-1 contentin the intestinal mucosa after I/R were all inhibited bypretreatment with lansoprazole at a dose of 1 mg/***, the CINC-1 mRNA expression was increasedduring intestinal I/R, and this increase in mRNA expressionwas inhibited by treatment with ***: Lansoprazole inhibits lipid peroxidation andreduces development of intestinal mucosal inflammationinduced by I/R in rats, suggesting that lansoprazole mayhave a therapeutic potential for I/R injury.

The sea urchin Heliocidaris crassispina has northern expanded in geographic range to Toga Bay,Oga Peninsula in the Sea of Japan due to the global *** demonstrate the gonad traits and age structure of *** in the central range and compare the difference with those in northern extended range,we collected 100 *** individuals from a barren off Shitsumi,Fukui(central range),in August *** growth,gonad traits(size,development and color),and sex ratio were investigated and compared with those in Toga Bay,in August 2014(extended range).The successive 2012–2016 year classes of *** indicated successive juvenile recruitment in the central range,as found in the extended *** individuals at three years old in central range were obviously larger than those in the extended range,showing large test diameter and body weight,possibly due to the higher temperature in central range than that in northern extended *** addition,a balanced sex ratio in the central range was found,in contrast to the female-skewed sex ratio found in the extended *** development was sex-and *** testicular development in the central range was not only delayed in comparison to ovarian development,but also less delayed than those in the extended range,which possibly attribute to the higher water temperature in the central range.A significantly lower male gonad index and L*(lightness)value was recorded in central ranges compared to that in extended range,possibly due to the releasement of sperm of *** in central ranges.

In fixed order quantity systems,uncertainty in lead time is expressed as a set of scenarios with occurrence probabilities,and the mean and variance in demand distribution are supposed to be changeable according to a known pattern.A new concept of "dynamic robust optimal reorder point" is proposed in this paper and its value is calculated as a "robust optimal reorder point function with respect to reorder time".Two approaches were employed in determining the dynamic optimal reorder *** first is a shortage rate satisfaction approach and the second is a backorder cost minimization *** former aims at finding the minimum value of reorder point at each reorder time which satisfies the condition that the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of shortage rate under a given set of scenarios in lead time is greater than or equal to a basic CDF of shortage rate predetermined by a *** the latter approach,the CDF of closeness of reorder point is defined at each reorder time to express how close to the optimal reorder points under the set of scenarios,and the dynamic optimal reorder point is defined according to stochastic *** numerical examples demonstrate the features of these dynamic robust optimal reorder points.

AIM：To investigate the association between tear film break up time（TBUT）and blinking interval in visual display terminal（VDT）***：Nine hundred and thirty VDT users underwent dry eye testing,and functional visual acuity（FVA）*** blinking interval during FVA was compared with *** with longer blinking interval than TBUT were considered as unstable tear *** regression analysis revealed the risk factors for unstable tear ***：Among 930 workers,858 subjects（92.3%）participated in this *** 80% of the subjects were categorized into the unstable tear *** tear group has significantly lower Schirmer values and TBUT（17.5±11.6 vs 21.1±11.5 mm,3.7±2.6 vs 5.7±2.7s,both P〈0.001）.There were no significant differences in epithelial staining or severity of *** regression showed that over 40y was a risk for being unstable tear group[odds ratio（OR）=1.53;95%confidence interval（CI）=1.06-2.20].Contact lens use was protective factor for being in the unstable tear group（OR=0.37;95%CI=0.26-0.53）.CONCLUSION：Subjects with shorter TBUT than blinking interval are prevalent among VDT *** over the age of 40 shows an increased risk for unstable tear film.

The conversion rates of SO2 to SO42- and NO2 to HNO3+NO3- are estimated from the field-data obtained in Beijing in summer, 1988. The results show that the conversion rate of NO2 is about four times as much as that of SO2; The conversion rates have a diurnal variation in a day. On the average, the rate of SO2 is estimated to be 4.7% h-1 during the daytime and 3.4% h-1 during the nighttime. Similarly, the rate of NO2 is estimated to be 17.2% h-1 and 12% h-1 respectively.

A 59-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of recurrent follicular lymphoma(FL).Colonoscopic examination revealed a rectal submucosal tumor(SMT)without any erosions and *** this patient,it was difficult to distinguish non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL)invasion from other disorders of the colon including carcinoid tumor merely based on endoscopic *** and immunohistochemical studies on biopsy specimens showed an infiltration of atypical lymphocytes that were positive for CD20 and BCL2 but negative for *** in situ hybridization on paraffin-embedded tissue sections (T-FISH)identified a translocation of BCL2 with IGHgene. Based on these findings,the tumor was defined as an invasion of FL.T-FISH method is useful for the detection of a monoclonality of atypical lymphocytes in an SMT of the gastrointestinal tract,and particularly for the detection of chromosomal translocations specific to lymphoma subtypes.

Aims: There has been no evidence on the effects of evolocumab, protein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitor, on small size LDL. We observationally investigated the efficacy and side effects of evolocumab on the LDL subfraction particle diameter using PAGE system for lipoprotein analysis. Methods: We defined 30 patients with high-risk hyperlipidemia. As for analysis of LDL subfraction profile, we used polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis three methods: 1) 3% nondenatured poly-acrylamide gel electrophoresis method (3%PAGE), 2) 2% - 16% nondenatured poly-acrylamide gradient gel electro-phoresis method (2% - 16% GGE) and 3) 2.7% - 5% GGE. Evolocumab 140 mg/day administered together with statin significantly improved serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-dense lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), and LDL-C after four-week treatment. Results: TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C levels were improved by, respectively, 33%, 20%, 10%, and 54%. The mean LDL size significantly increased from 25.6 ± 0.4 nm to 26.4 ± 0.8 nm. The small dense LDL-cholesterol (sdLDL-C), large buoyant LDL-cholesterol (lbLDL-C), and mid-band lipoprotein-cholesterol were reduced, respectively. Therefore, the preliminary study on this paper can be the first step into a new insight on the world of lipid metabolism. Conclusion: Short-term administration of evolocumab addedons to statin therapy, significantly reduced small size LDL levels.

Endoscopic transgastric drainage of a gastric wall abscess after endoscopic submucosal dissection

A 63-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for further examination because of an incidental finding of early gastric *** submucosal dissection(ESD)was successfully performed for complete resection of the *** the first post-ESD day,the patient suddenly complained of abdominal pain after an episode of *** computed tomography(CT)showed delayed perforation after *** patient was conservatively treated with an intravenous proton pump inhibitor and *** the fifth post-ESD day,CT revealed a gastric wall abscess in the gastric *** revealed a gastric fistula at the edge of the post-ESD ulcer,and pus was found flowing into the *** intradrainage stent and an extradrainage nasocystic catheter were successfully inserted into the abscess for endoscopic transgastric *** the procedure,the clinical symptoms and laboratory test results improved *** months later,a follow-up CT scan showed no collection of ***,the intradrainage stent was *** the gastric wall abscess recurred 2 wk after stent removal,it recovered soon after endoscopic transgastric ***,after stent removal and oral antibiotic treatment for 1 mo,no recurrence of the gastric wall abscess was found.
