Objective To evaluate the efifcacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with common hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) by conducting a prospective, controlled, and randomized trial. Methods A total of 452 patients with common HFMD were randomly assigned to receive Western medicine alone (n=220) or combined with TCM (Reduning or Xiyanping injections) (n=232). The primary outcome was the incidence rate of rash/herpes disappearance within 5 days, while secondary outcomes included the incidence rate for fever, cough, lethargy, agitation, and vomiting clearance within 5 days. Results The rash/herpes disappearance rate was 45.5% (100/220) in Western medicine therapy group, and 67.2% (156/232) in TCM and Western medicine combined therapy group, with significant difference (Pgroup and 71.4%in TCM and Western medicine combined therapy group (P=0.001). No drug-related adverse events were observed. Conclusions It’s suggested that the integrative TCM and Western medicine therapy achieved a better therapeutic efficacy. TCM may become an important complementary therapy on relieving the symptoms of HFMD.

To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Jinye Baidu Granules(金叶败毒颗粒)for acute upper respiratory tract infection(AURTI).Database such as CNKI,Wan-fang,VIP,Sino Med,Web of science,Clinical Trials gov,Medline、EMBASE,CENTRAL,Cochrane Library were retrieved to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on Jinye Baidu Granules(金叶败毒颗粒)in treating AURTI from the estabslishment of the database to March 2019.A total of 2 reviewers independently screened the literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and extracted material and the quality evaluation of the included *** evaluation adopted Cochrane Handbook 5.1 evaluation standards and *** Man5.3 was used to perform Meta-analysis for the adopted *** a total of 4 RCTs involving 636 patients were ***-analysis results showed that:compared with conventional Western medicine alone,Jinye Baidu Granules(金叶败毒颗粒)combined with Western medicine in the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection can improve the total effective rate of clinical efficacy[RR=0.13,95%CI(0.06,0.29),Pgroup:diarrhea,nausea and adverse reactions disappeared after drug withdrawal;the incidence of adverse reactions was 3.92%in the control group and 5.88%in the observation *** was no significant difference between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Based on existing data and methods,the systematic evaluation showed that,compared with Western medicine alone,Jinye Baidu Granules(金叶败毒颗粒)combined with Western medicine alone could improve the total ef

Objective:Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(半夏白术天麻汤,BBTD)combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(血府逐瘀汤,XFZYD)is widely used to treat essential hypertension in China,but its efficacy remains largely *** systemically summarized relevant evidence from randomized controlled trials(RCTs)to assess the therapeutic efficacy of BBTD+***:This review retrieved 6 databases like Pubmed,Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,et *** of BBTD+XFZYD plus conventional Western drugs(experimental group)and conventional Western drugs alone(control group)for hypertension was collected from the database establishment to August 5,*** the outcomes included clinical total effective rate,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),nitric oxide(NO)and endothelin-1(ET-1).All studies’risk of bias were assessed by the Cochrane Collaboration tool *** data was statistically analyzed by RevMan5.3 ***:Six studies with 608 participants were *** duration of treatment,4 studies were 1 month,2 studies were 2 *** quality presented a high risk of *** experimental group showed that clinical total effective rate of the 1-month and 2-month was higher(P<0.00001),the systolic pressure was significantly lower(P<0.05),the NO increased(P<0.00001),and the ET-1 decreased(P<0.00001)compared with the conventional Western drugs used ***,DBP was significantly lower(P<0.05)at 2 months of ***:BBTD+XFZYD plus conventional Western drugs might reduce blood pressure,improve clinical efficacy,repair endothelial function,but still need high-quality RCTs to better assess the outcomes.

目的探讨天然脑活素对复制性衰老人胚肺二倍体成纤维细胞(MRC-5)端粒酶活性的影响,以阐明其延缓衰老的作用及分子机制。方法镜下观察细胞形态变化,绘制细胞生长曲线,MTT法检测细胞增殖活度,TRAP-ELISA方法检测细胞端粒酶活性的变化。结果天然脑活素孵育的MRC-5细胞老龄化不明显,细胞增殖能力较空白老龄对照组明显增加(P<0.05);天然脑活素处理的细胞端粒酶活性较空白老龄对照组明显上调(P<0.05)。结论天然脑活素可能通过促进细胞增殖,激活细胞端粒酶的表达,进而有效地延缓细胞的复制性衰老。

Anaerobic digestion （AD） is an indispensable technology for mankind to live a sustainable life in this world. Currently, anaerobic technology is being increasingly adopted as a cost-effective way for waste（water） treatment, but has also evolved from an approach solely for waste（water） treatment to an integrated method for resource recovery, e.g. water, energy （biogas）, nitrogen, phosphorous, etc. Implementation of anaerobic technology even carries associated benefits such as the mitigation of climate change. Hence, we are standing at a turning point in reframing the future of anaerobic technology, and move towards a more sustainable world. The demand for fossil energy substitution, nutrient recirculation and efficient waste management, is driving technical innovation strongly. Therefore, with the theme of＂Towards a More Sustainable World＂, the AD-15 conference focused on the most promising anaerobic technologies, as well as emerging and cutting-edge techniques and ideas that can influence AD＇s future development. The conference was jointly organized by the International Water Association （IWA）, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, and research Center for Eco-Envrionmental Sciences, CAS. This conference was part of the IWA Anaerobic Digestion Specialist group Conference series, which were conceived as an international forum targeting state-of-the-art anaerobic bioprocesses. In this conference, more than 1,100 delegates from over 70 countries attended the meeting. Over 800 conference abstracts were submitted, focusing on 10 topics ＆ sessions, covering microbiome ＆ biotransformations, modeling, high solids AD, innovative technology, agricultural waste, industrial ＆ municipal wastewater treatment, resource recovery, pre- ＆ post- treatment, and policy traction. 目的探讨中药安颤灵对帕金森病(PD)大鼠模型泛素-蛋白酶体系统(UPS)功能的影响。方法采用lactacystin立体定向注射入大鼠左侧黑质致密部和黑质纹状体通路,建立PD大鼠模型。经行为测试造模成功的PD模型大鼠27只,随机分为模型组与中药组,每组10只,同时另取10只脑内注射生理盐水未出现旋转行为的大鼠作为正常对照组。正常对照组和模型组用生理盐水灌胃,中药组同时间等体积安颤灵灌胃,共5w。给药后第1、3、5周分别行阿朴吗啡(APO)诱导,观察记录其旋转行为及其他异常行为。给药结束后每组随机取6只大鼠行免疫组织化学检测,观察各组α-突触核蛋白(α-synuclein)、泛素(ubiquitin)蛋白表达。结果中药组对APO诱导的旋转行为有明显抑制作用,与模型组相比较,其旋转圈数明显减少(P<0.01)。与模型组相比,中药组α-synu-clein与硫磺素S、ubiquitin与硫磺素S荧光双标染色阳性均较弱。结论安颤灵可改善PD大鼠旋转行为及UPS的功能。

目的基于Keap1-Nrf2/ARE信号传导通路探讨黄芪多糖改善干燥综合征(Sjgren′s syndrome,SS)模型大鼠心功能变化的机制。方法将48只Wistar雄性大鼠按随机数字表法分为4组:空白对照组(空白组)、模型对照组(模型组)、黄芪多糖组(中药组)和羟氯喹组(西药组),每组12只,分别向每只大鼠(空白组除外)两后足跖部注射与弗氏完全佐剂充分乳化后的颌下腺蛋白混合抗原0.1mL,诱导SS模型。致炎后第19天开始干预,空白组及模型组均给予等量生理盐水(1mL/100g),其余组分别给予黄芪多糖(1mg/100g)、羟氯喹(0.031 25g/kg),各组每天干预1次,连续干预30天。给药结束后观察大鼠的体质量变化、饮水量变化、颌下腺指数、脾指数、腺体组织学变化;采用有创血流动力学监测SS模型大鼠心功能的变化;采用ELISA法检测血清中活性氧(reactive oxygen species,ROS)、丙二醛(malondialdehyde,MDA)、超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)、总抗氧化能力(total antioxidant capacity,TAC)、TNF-α、IL-35;HE染色观察心肌组织的病理学改变;免疫组化染色观察ROS、活性氮自由基(reactive nitrogen species,RNS)、谷胱甘肽(glutathione,GSH)、硫氧还蛋白(thioredoxin,TRX)表达;实时荧光定量PCR(real time fluorescence quantitative PCR,RTFQ-PCR)检测Keap1、Nrf2、ARE mRNA蛋白的表达;Western blot方法测定大鼠心肌组织γ-谷氨酰半胱氨酸合成酶(γ-glutamic acid and a half long glycine synthetase,γ-GCS)、血红素氧合酶1(heme oxygenase-1,HO-1)蛋白表达水平。结果与空白组比较,模型组大鼠饮水量、颌下腺指数、脾指数、HR、心脏指数(HI)、左室收缩期压(LVSP)、左室舒张期压(LVEDP)、MDA、ROS、TNF-α、ROS蛋白表达、RNS蛋白表达、Keap1mRNA、MafmRNA、Nfr2mRNA、HO-1蛋白表达、γ-GCS蛋白表达升高(P<0.01),体质量、左室内压上升下降最大速率(±dp/dtmax)、SOD、TAC、IL-35、GSH、TRX蛋白表达降低(P<0.01)。与模型组比较,两个给药组干预后大鼠饮水量、颌下腺指数、脾指数、LVEDP、MDA、ROS、TNF-α、ROS蛋白表达、RNS蛋白表达、Keap1mRNA、Maf mRNA、Nfr2mRNA、HO-1蛋白表达、γ-GCS蛋白表达均降低(P<0.05),而大鼠的体质量、±dp/dtmax、SOD、TAC、IL-35、GSH蛋白表达、TRX蛋白表达升高(P<0.05,P<0.01);西药组HR升高(P<0.05);中药组HR、LVSP降低(P<0.05,P<0.01)。与西药组比较,中药组HR、LVEDP、±dp/dtmax、γ-GCS蛋白表达降低(P<0.05,P<0.01),SOD、TAC、GSH、TRX、HO-1蛋白表达升高(P<0.01)。HI与ROS呈正相关(P<0.05);LVSP、LVEDP与Keap1-Nrf2/ARE信号传导通路呈正相关(P<0.01),与TAC呈负相关(P<0.05,P<0.01);±dp/dtmax与Keap1-Nrf2/ARE信号传导通路呈负相关(P<0.05),与TNF-α呈正相关(P<0.05)。结论干燥综合症大鼠存在心功能下降,黄芪多糖改善心功能的机制可能是与Keap1-Nrf2/ARE信号传导通路活化密切相关。
