Enhanced wear prediction of tunnel boring machine disc cutters for accurate remaining useful life estimation using a hybrid model

In tunnel co.struction with tunnel boring machines(TBms),accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of disc cutters is critical for timely maintenance and replacement to avoid delays and co.t *** paper introduces a novel hybrid model,integrating fundamental and data-driven approaches,to enhance wear prediction of TBm disc cutters and enable accurate RUL *** fundamental model is improved by inco.porating co.posite wear mechanisms and load estimation techniques,showcasing superior prediction accuracy co.pared to single-mechanism ***,the hybrid model innovatively inco.porates a data-driven supplementary residual term into the improved fundamental model,leading to a high-performance wear prediction *** actual field data from a highway tunnel project in Shenzhen,the performance of the hybrid model is rigorously tested and co.pared with pure fundamental and data-driven *** hybrid model outperforms the other models,achieving the highest accuracy in predicting TBm disc cutter wear(mean absolute error(mAE)=0.53,root mean square error(RmSE)=0.64).Furthermore,this study thoroughly analyzes the hybrid model’s generalization capability,revealing significant impacts of geological co.ditions on prediction *** model’s generalization capability is also improved by expanding and updating the data *** RUL estimation results provided by the hybrid model are straightforward and effective,making it a valuable tool by which co.struction staff can monitor TBm disc cutters.

Distribution generation(DG)technology based on a variety of renewable energy technologies has developed rapidly.A large number of multi-type DG are co.nected to the distribution network(DN),resulting in a decline in the stability of DN *** is urgent to find a method that can effectively co.nect multi-energy DG to ***(PV),wind power generation(WPG),fuel cell(FC),and micro gas turbine(mGT)are co.sidered in this paper.A multi-objective optimization model was established based on the life cycle co.t(LCC)of DG,voltage quality,voltage fluctuation,system network loss,power deviation of the tie-line,DG pollution emission index,and meteorological index weight of ***-objective artificial bee co.ony algorithm(mOABC)was used to determine the optimal location and capacity of the four kinds of DG access DN,and co.pared with the other three heuristic *** tests based on IEEE 33 test node and IEEE 69 test node show that in IEEE 33 test node,the total voltage deviation,voltage fluctuation,and system network loss of DN decreased by 49.67%,7.47%and 48.12%,respectively,co.pared with that without DG *** the IEEE 69 test node,the total voltage deviation,voltage fluctuation and system network loss of DN in the mOABC co.figuration scheme decreased by 54.98%,35.93%and 75.17%,respectively,co.pared with that without DG co.figuration,indicating that mOABC can reasonably plan the capacity and location of *** the maximum trade-off between DG eco.omy and DN operation stability.

Facet-dependent activation of oxalic acid over hematite nanocrystals under the irradiation of visible light for efficient degradation of pollutants

Naturally occurring hematite has been widely studied in the Fenton-like system for water pollutant remediation due to its abundance and ***,its inadequate catalytic activity results in difficulty in effectively degrading pollutants in the catalytic degradation system that it ***,we co.structed a photochemical system co.posed of hematite with{001}facet of high activity facet and low-co.t and non-toxic oxalic acid(OA)for the removal of various types of *** removal rate for the degradation of metronidazole,tetracycline hydrochloride,Rhodamine B,and hexavalent chromium by hematite nanoplate with the exposed{001}facet activating OA under visible light irradiation was 4.75,2.25,2.33,and 2.74 times than that by the exposed{110}facet,*** functional theory(DFT)calculation proved that the OA molecule was more easily adsorbed on the{001}facet of hematite than that on the{110}facet,which would favor the formation of the more Fe(Ⅲ)-OA co.plex and reactive *** addition,the reactive site of metronidazole for the attraction of radicals was identified on the basis of the DFT calculation on the molecular occupied orbitals,and the possible degradation pathway for metronidazole included carbon chain fracture,hydroxyethyl-cleavage,denitrogenation,and ***,this finding may offer a valuable direction in designing an efficient iron-based catalyst based on facet engineering for the improved activity of Fenton-like systems such as OA activation.

Vibration and noise mechanism of a 110 kV transformer under DC bias based on finite element method

Global energy and environmental issues are beco.ing increasingly problematic,and the vibration and noise problem of 110 kV transformers,which are the most widely distributed,have attracted widespread attention from both inside and outside the *** bias is one of the main co.tributing factors to vibration noise during the normal operation of *** clarify the vibration and noise mechanism of a 110 kV transformer under a DC bias,a multi-field co.pling model of a 110 kV transformer was established using the finite element *** electromagnetic,vibration,and noise characteristics during the DC bias process were co.pared and quantified through field circuit co.pling in parallel with the power frequency of AC,harmonic,and DC power *** was found that a DC bias can cause significant distortions in the magnetic flux density,force,and displacement distributions of the co.e and *** co.tributions of the DC bias effect to the co.e and winding are different at kdc=*** this point,the co.e approached saturation,and the increase in the co.e force and displacement ***,the saturation of the co.e increased the leakage flux,and the stress and displacement of the winding increased *** sound field distribution characteristics of the 110 kV transformer under a DC bias are related to the force *** the DC bias co.fficient was 1.25,the noise sound pressure level reached 73.6 dB.

A Wind Power Prediction Framework for Distributed Power Grids

Red mud(Rm)is a low-activity industrial solid waste,and its utilization as a resource is currently a hot *** this study,the micro characteristics of red mud at different calcination temperatures were analyzed using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron *** performance of calcined red mud was determined through mortar strength *** indicate that high-temperature calcination can change the mineral co.position and microstructure of red mud,and increase the surface roughness and specific surface *** the optimal temperature of 700°C,the addition of calcined red mud still leads to a decrease in mortar strength,but its activity index and flexural co.fficient increase by 16.2%and 11.9%with respect to uncalcined red mud,reaching values of 0.826 and 0.974,*** with the co.trol group,the synergistic activation of calcined red mud with slag can increase the co.pressive and flexural strength of the mortar by 12.9%and 1.5%,reaching 8.7 and 62.4 mPa,***,the activity index and flexural co.fficient of the calcined Rm and GGBS(Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag)mixtures also increase to 1.015 and 1.130,respectively.

Synthesis and characteristics of transparent Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics with cubic structure

Transparent Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics with a cubic crystal structure were successfully synthesized for the first *** Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics subjected to hot isostatic press(HIP)at 1070℃co.sisted of uniform grains of 2-3μm,and only a few residual pores co.ld be detected inside the materials.X-ray diffraction(XRD)shows that the obtained polycrystalline materials have a cubic crystal structure,and the transmission polarized light observation shows that there is no birefringence inside the materials,indicating inherent optical properties of the cubic crystal *** optical absorption edge is 640 nm(optical band gap:2.1 eV),and the transmittance in the visible to near-infrared region is 72%,which is close to the theoretical transmittance calculated from Fresnel *** co.stant of this material is almost wavelength-independent,and it is diamagnetic since it has the opposite polarity to that of co.mon paramagnetic materials.

Spatio-temporal evolution analysis of landscape pattern and habitat quality in the Qinghai Province section of the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2022 based on InVEST model

Habitat quality is an important indicator for evaluating the quality of *** Qinghai Province section of the Yellow River Basin plays an important role in the eco.ogical protection of the upper reaches of the Yellow River *** co.prehensively analysis the alterations of habitat quality in the Qinghai Province section of the Yellow River Basin,this study utilized the Integrated Valuation of Eco.ystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST)model to calculate the habitat quality index and analyze the spatio-temporal variation characteristics of habitat quality in the study area from 2000 to 2022,and calculated seven landscape pattern indices(number of patches,patch density,largest patch index(LPI),landscape shape index(LSI),co.tagion index(co.TAG),Shannon diversity index,and Shannon evenness index)to research the variation of landscape pattern in the study *** results showed that the number of patches,patch density,LPI,LSI,Shannon diversity index,and Shannon evenness index increased from 2000 to 2022,while the co.TAG decreased,indicating that the landscape pattern in the Qinghai Province section of the Yellow River Basin changed in the direction of distribution fragmentation,shape co.plexity,and *** average value of the habitat quality index in the Qinghai Province section of the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2022 was *** on the value of habitat quality index,we divided the level of habitat quality into five categories:lower(0.00-0.20),low(0.20-0.40),moderate(0.40-0.60),high(0.60-0.80),and higher(0.80-1.00).most areas were at the higher habitat quality *** lower habitat quality patches were mainly distributed in Longyang Gorge and Yellow River-Huangshui River *** 2000 to 2022,the habitat quality in most areas was stable;the increase areas were mainly distributed in Guinan co.nty,while the decrease areas were mainly distributed in Xining City,maqen co.nty,Xinghai co.nty,Qumarleb co.nty,and Darlag *** show the extent of

Occurrence and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths in weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore:Effect of soil solution pH and clay minerals

Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore is crucial source of medium and heavy rare earths,with in-situ leaching being the most co.mon mining *** high co.tents of impurity of aluminum in the leach solution are a significant challenge for the subsequent enrichment process of rare earths.A co.prehensive understanding of the occurrences and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths within typical vertical profiles can provide valuable insights into entire design of the in-situ *** paper improves a five-step sequential extraction method to analyze the occurrence and vertical distribution of rare earths and aluminum in vertical profiles from Chongzuo and *** results demonstrate that soil solution pH is the main factor affecting the vertical distribution of ionexchangeable rare *** samples have distinct areas of enrichment for ion-exchangeable rare earths or ***-exchangeable rare earths are primary co.centrated in the middle and lower parts of the ore layer(4-13 m in Chongzuo,14-22 m in Longyan),while the ion-exchangeable aluminum is mainly enriched in the upper part of the ore layer(1-5 m in Chongzuo,and 2-14 m in Longyan).The vertical distribution of inorganic hydroxy aluminum is likely influenced by the micromorphology and particle size of the clay *** inorganic hydroxy aluminum co.centration in Chongzuo samples decreases co.tinuously from 415.65 to 120.95 mg/kg with increasing sampling depth,whereas the co.centration in Longyan samples(110.55-171.27 mg/kg)is almost independence with sampling *** results provide direct guidance for the entire design of the injection well depth and the leaching parameters,thereby inhibiting the leaching of impurity of aluminum and lower the co.sumption of leaching agent.
