Etoposide is widely used for cancer chemotherapy in the ***,long-term etoposide treatment can lead to adverse effects or drug *** improve the situation,we evaluated the therapeutic efficiency of etoposide combined with inhibitors of bromodomain and extraterminal(BET)family proteins,which have recently emerged as novel anti-cancer targets due to their critical roles in cancer ***,we showed Brd4,one of the main targets of BET inhibitors,was involved in dNA damage response(ddr)via the homologous recombination(Hr)repair pathway.

Genetic information is transcribed from genomic dNA to mrNA,which is then translated into threedimensional *** can undergo various post-transcriptional modifications,including rNA editing that alters mrNA sequences,ultimately affecting protein *** this study,rNA editing was identified at the 499th base(c.499)of human vaccinia-related kinase 2(VrK2).This rNA editing changes the amino acid in the catalytic domain of VrK2 from isoleucine(with adenine base)to valine(with guanine base).Isoleucine-containing VrK2 has higher kinase activity than the valine-containing VrK2,which leads to an increase in tumor cell *** we reported that VrK2 directly interacts with dystrobrevin-binding protein(dysbindin)and results in reducing its ***,we demonstrate that isoleucine-containing VrK2 decreases the level of dysbindin than valinecontaining *** interacts with cyclin d and thereby regulates its expression and *** reduction in the level of dysbindin by isoleucine-containing VrK2 further enhances the cyclin d expression,resulting in increased tumor growth and reduction in survival *** has also been observed that in patient samples,VrK2 level was elevated in breast cancer tissue compared to normal breast ***,the isoleucine form of VrK2 exhibited a greater increase in breast cancer ***,it is concluded that VrK2,especially dependent on the 167th variant amino acid,can be one of the indexes of tumor progression and proliferation.

Operating conditions of film capacitors are complex,and the problem of film insulation failure caused by repetitively pulsed voltage is becoming ever *** of the film under repetitively pulsed voltage cannot be accurately evaluated by the average breakdown electric *** this paper,the effects of pulsed electric field and pulse repetition frequency on the breakdown in biaxially oriented polypropylene(BOPP)films are *** phases of BOPP degradation are proposed based on the voltage amplitude,i.e.,maintenance(M),decline(d),and near-zero(N).Evolution of the BOPP film from degradation to breakdown at different frequencies is ***,transition of discharge mode and elemental composition of the film are *** results show continuous heat generation under repetitive microsecond pulses is the dominant factor for degradation of BOPP *** number of applied pulses and the repetitive stressing time decrease exponentially with increase of *** research can be contributed to the safe and reliable operation of capacitors.

Through theoretical analysis,we construct a physical model that includes the influence of counter-external driven current opposite to the plasma current direction in the neoclassical tearing mode(NTM).The equation is used with this model to obtain the modified rutherford equation with co-current and counter-current *** with the reported experimental results,numerical simulations have shown that the localized counter external current can only partially suppress NTM when it is far from the resonant magnetic *** some circumstances,the Ohkawa mechanism dominated current drive(OKCd)by electron cyclotron waves can concurrently create both co-current and *** this instance,the minimal electron cyclotron wave power that suppresses a particular NTM was calculated by the rutherford *** result is marginally less than when taking co-current alone into *** a result,to suppress NTM using OKCd,one only needs to align the co-current with a greater OKCd peak well with the resonant magnetic *** effect of its lower counter-current does not need to be considered because the location of the counter-current deviates greatly from the resonant magnetic surface.

Borylation of 1,3-enynes with bis(boronate)compounds often ends up with the formation of hydroborylated products,leaving the diborylation of 1,3-enynes for the formation of 1,4-diborylated allenes to be ***,a copper-catalyzed chemo-,regio-,and stereo-selective diborylation of 1,3-enynes for the efficient construction of 1,4-diborylated allenes under base-free conditions was reported.A wide range of 1,3-enynes bearing various functional groups can participant in the reaction and afforded the corresponding 1,4-diborylated allenes in good to excellent yields,which was enabled by the protocol of Bpin to BF3K *** borylcopper species was supposed to selectively attack the C-C triple bond of the 1,3-enynes.

Background:Foot kinematics,such as excessive eversion and malalignment of the hindfoot,are believed to be associated with running-related *** maj ority of studies to date show that different foot strike patterns influence these specific foot and ankle ***,technical deficiencies in traditional motion capture approaches limit knowledge of in vivo joint kinematics with respect to rearfoot and forefoot strike patterns(rFS and FFS,respectively).This study uses a high-speed dual fluoroscopic imaging system(dFIS)to determine the effects of different foot strike patterns on 3d in vivo tibiotalar and subtalar joints ***:Fifteen healthy male recreational runners underwent foot computed tomography scanning for the construction of 3-dimensional models.A high-speed dFIS(100 Hz)was used to collect 6 degrees of freedom kinematics for participants’tibiotalar and subtalar joints when they adopted rFS and FFS in barefoot ***:Compared with rFS,FFS exhibited greater internal rotation at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar *** peak internal rotation angle of the tibiotalar joint under FFS was greater than under rFS(pd=0.92).rFS showed more dorsiflexion at 0%-20%of the stance phase in the tibiotalar joint than *** also presented a larger anterior translation(pd=1.28)in the subtalar joint at i nitial contact than ***:running with acute barefoot FFS increases the internal rotation of the tibiotalar joint in the early *** use of high-speed dFIS to quantify the movement of the tibiotalar and subtalar joint was critical to revealing the effects of rF S and FFS during running.

This work aimed at investigating the crucial factor in building and maintaining the combustion front during in-situ combustion(ISC),oxidized coke and pyrolyzed *** surface morphologies,elemental contents,and non-isothermal mass losses of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes were thoroughly *** results indicated that the oxidized coke could be combusted at a lower temperature compared to the pyrolyzed coke due primarily to their differences in the molecular polarity and *** triplets of coke combustion were determined using iso-conversional models and one advanced integral master plots *** activation energy values of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes varied in the range of 130-153 k J/mol and 95-120 kJ/mol,*** most appropriate reaction model of combustion of the oxidized and pyrolyzed cokes followed three-dimensional diffusion model(d_(3)) and random nucleation and subsequent growth model(F_(1)),*** observations assisted in building the numerical model of these two types of cokes to simulate the ISC process.
