The paper firstly gives a brief introduction of the credit focus as a result of the competition among the branch banks of the Commercial Bank. Then from the viewpoint of the performance of the branch bank, an analysis is made on the mechanism of the formation of the credit focus. Based on the analysis, the paper points out that the Commercial Bank branches, under competition of the deposit restrain, have brought about excessive credit, which exceeds the finance required by the normal business. And finally the paper forms the credit risk of the bank.

Methionine(Met)is an essential and first limiting amino acid in the poultry diet that plays a significant role in chicken embryonic development and *** present study examined the effect of in ovo injection of dL-Met and L-Met sources and genotypes on chicken embryonic-intestinal development and *** eggs of the two genotypes,TETRA-SL layer hybrid(TSL)—commercial layer hybrid and Hungarian Partridge colored hen breed(HPC)—a native genotype,were randomly distributed into four treatments for each *** treatment groups include the following:1)control non-injected eggs(NoIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)dL-Met injected(dLM);and 4)L-Met injected(LM).The in ovo injection was carried out on 17.5 d of embryonic development;after hatching,eight chicks per group were sacrificed,and the jejunum was extracted for *** results showed that both dLM and LM groups had enhanced intestinal development as evidenced by increased villus width,villus height,and villus area(Pd to the *** dLM group had significantly reduced crypt depth,glutathione(GSH)content,glutathione S-transferase 3 alpha(GST3),occludin(OCLN)gene expression and increased villus height to crypt depth ratio in the TSL genotype than the LM group(Pd insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)gene,tricellulin(Md2),occludin(OCLN),superoxide dismutase 1(SOd1),and GST3 genes than the TSL genotype(Pdings showed that in ovo injection of Met enhanced intestinal development,and function,with genotypes responding differently under normal *** also influenced the expression of intestinal antioxidants,tight junction,and growth-related genes.

Starting from the analysis on the effectiveness of China＇s monetary policy under WTO, this paper advocates that reforms of the operating system of domestic monetary policy and the foreign exchange regime should be carried out in a combined manner. It also touches upon the coordination of exchange rate and interest rate polices. To improve the effectiveness of China＇s monetary policy, it is necessary to shift from the fixed exchange rate regime to the managed floating foreign exchange regime, gradually strengthening the central bank＇s rational control over the foreign exchange market and its construction of China＇s monetary market. It is also of great significance to improve the sterilization operation to guard against the internal fluctuations of money supply.

Chemicals, due to their combustible, explosive, toxic characteristics and aptness to jeopardize the environment, human health and public safety, have long been on the top agenda of the governments throughout the world. At present China is a large country in the production, consumption and trading of chemicals with 45, 000 kinds already manufactured and in use and some 100 new kinds per year awaiting being registered to enter into the markets.1 Generally, the chemicals management in China has undergone through labor protection between 1950s and 1960s, pollution control and public safety during 1970s and 1980s, and ozone protection, climate change, recycling economy and anti-terrorism in recent decades. The focus of the legislation on chemicals has shifted from separate and scattered regulations in the form of departmental rules to national regulations which give special attention to the coordination of concerned departments and to the linkup and compatibility with relevant international treaties. In a word, chemicals management has become one of the sectors in China＇s environmental management domains where there are a large number of stringent regulations.

When President Obama signed ＂dodd-Frank Wall Street ReJbrm and Consumer Protection Act, ＇＂ the US financial regulatory reform was basically outlined. This paper focuses on the evaluation of this reform with regard to the ＂Eye of the Storm＂ of the subprime crisis and summarizes the main contents of the bill. Studies suggest that this is a successful financial regulatory reform and the widest range of financial regulatory reform since the last century＇s ＂＇Great depression, ＂ in that the bill has established a new framework of risk management with the characteristic of mixed regulation.

Reform and opening up has made China’s economy develop faster than ever. But it has not succeeded in changing the regional disparity in China. In this article, we establish a model factor input called the "lock-in effect" and analyze the channel of the lock-in effect and how it influences the regional economy. On the analyses of thirty provinces’ panel data in China from 1990 to 2005, we find that the lock-in effect of factor inputs further exacerbates the developmental imbalance among regions.

I. Why We Put forward This Problem for discussion In the literature, studies on economic fluctuations in China concentrate on fluctuations in the economy as a whole with GdP as the indicator. These studies may be classified into the following three types： first, studies on the features of cyclical economic changes. For instance, Liu Jinquan and Fan Jianqing studied the various asymmetric forms of the main macroeconomic variables in economic fluctuations and Liu Heng and Yuan Wenping looked into the ＂broadband＂ phenomenon in Chinese economic cycles.1 Second, studies on factors influencing changes in the features of cyclical economic fluctuations. For example, Fan Mingtai studied the mechanism of formation and models of economic fluctuations in China; Ju Guoyu and Lan Yi examined the role of the tightening of budget constraints in state-owned enterprises （SOEs） and the optimum allocation of scarce resources between state-owned and non-state-owned sectors in lessening the amplitude of fluctuations.2 Third, studies on the impact of policy on economic cycles. For instance, Huang Zelin and Shi Jinchuan studied the impact of financial and monetary policies on economic cycles.3

Based on the assumptions of ＂information transfer＂ and ＂information creation＂, this paper educes the multiplied growth mechanism of network information： that the gross quantity of network information （Im） is about n times as much as the quantity of real network information （Ir）. According to this theoretical model, we give a uniform explanation to all kinds of information growth models in existence, and put forward some proposals, such as ＂forbidding information transfer＂ and ＂building up the central information base＂, to control the repeated information flooding on the network and facilitate the full use of network information.

Groundwater quality assessment is important to assure safe and durable water *** semi-arid areas of Algeria,groundwater represents the main water resource for drinking water supply of the rural population as well as for irrigation of agricultural *** samples from wells and springs were collected from the Gargaat Tarf and Annk djemel sub-watersheds of the Oum El Bouaghi,Algeria,and were analyzed and compared with the World Health Organization(WHO)*** showed that most of the measured physical and chemical parameters exceeded the quality limits according to the WHO *** had a slightly alkaline water ph(7.00-7.79),electrical conductivity>1500μS/cm,chloride>500 mg/L,calcium>250 mg/L,and magnesium>155 mg/*** quality index(WQI)results showed that 68%of the area had excellent water quality,24%of the samples fell into good category,and only 8%were of poor quality and unsuitable for human *** wells in the area showed bacterial *** coliforms(453.9(±180.3)CFU(colony-forming units)/100 mL),fecal coliforms(243.2(±99.2)CFU/100 mL),and fecal streptococci(77.9(±32.0)CFU/100 mL)loads were above the standard limits set by the *** results confirmed that water resources in the study area were strongly influenced by anthropogenic activities and were not recommended for consumption as drinking water.
