A quantum information theory is derived for multidimensional signals scaling. Dynamical data modeling methodology is described for decomposing a signal in a coupled structure of binding synergies, in scale-space. Mass conservation principle, along with a generalized uncertainty relation, and the scale-space wave propagation lead to a polynomial decomposition of information. Statistical map of data, through dynamical cascades, gives an effective way of coding and assessing its control structure. Using a multi-scale approach, the scale-space wave information propagation is utilized in computing stochastic resonance synergies (SRS), and a data ensemble is conceptualized within an atomic structure. In this paper, we show the analysis of multidimensional data scatter, exhibiting a point scaling property. We discuss applications in image processing, as well as, in neuroimaging. Functional neuro-cortical mapping by multidimensional scaling is explained for two behaviorally correlated auditory experiments, whose BOLD signals are recorded by fMRI. The point scaling property of the information flow between the signals recorded in those two experiments is analyzed in conjunction with the cortical feature detector findings and the auditory tonotopic map. The brain wave nucleons from an EEG scan, along with a distance measure of synchronicity of the brain wave patterns, are also explained.

＜正＞ Objective: Cellular drug resistance measured at initial diagnosis is associated with an increased relapse risk and unfavorable clinical outcome in childhood ALL. In addition, the presence of adverse clinical prognostic factors such as age. and pro - B and T - lineage immunophenotype have been shown to be associated with cellular resistance to drugs in children with ALL. p - glycoprotein （pgp）, the gene product of MDR1, confers multidrug resistance to a number of antineoplastic agents. A silent mutation in the exon 26 （C3435T） has been associated with altered expression and function of pgp in tissues. Methods: MIT cytotoxicity assay, pCR alnalysis of C3435T polymorphism in MDR1 gene. Results: We compared the impact of C3435T polymorphism on in vitro chemosensitivity of leukemia cells to methylprednisolone. CC genotype carriers showed higher IC50 values in comparison with the carriers of CT or TT genotype. Statistical analysis Mann- Whitney U test showed p = 0.035. Conclusions: The group of patients with CC genotype seems to be more resistant to glucocorticoids, or at least methyprednisolone.

We report the results of magnetic, thermodynamic, transport and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) studies of newly synthesized Gd_(10)Co_(20)Si_(70) alloy. These measurements confirm an antiferromagnetic transition at T_N=9 K. Both MCE and magnetoresistance (MR) show quadratic dependence on the applied magnetic field, indicating the presence of spin fluctuations in the alloy. The maximum values of the magnetic entropy change determined from the isothermal magnetization data for magnetic field change of 7 and9 T are found to be 10.5 and 15.6 j/kg·K, respectively. As a consequence of the spin fluctuations effect, the MCE peaks are pulled towards high temperature side as asymmetrically broadened peak. The MR attains a large positive value of 73%at 2 K in 8 T. The large MR and reversible MCE make this alloy an attractive multifunctional magnetic material.

＜正＞ Objective: In the present work,we tested selected cruciferous indole phytoalexins for their antiproliferative and proapototic effects on cancer cell lines. Methods: MIT cytotoxicity assay,cell cycle analysis, apoptosis detection by flow cytometry or DNA ***: Our data indicate the highest activity of 1 - methoxybrasinine （MB）. The IC50 was 10 and 5 mmol/L in jurkat and HL-60 leukemic cells, respectively . However, significant antiproliferative effect of all phytoalexines was also determined at concentration 0.5 mmol/L in both cell lines. In MB - treated cells we found significant increase in the fraction of cells with a sub - G0/G1 DNA content, which is considered to be a marker of cell death by apoptosis. Apoptosis was also confirmed by the annexin V staining and DNA fragmentation. Conclusions: MB exerted potent antiproliferative activity probably due to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis induction. Further studies are necessary to elucidate its mechanism of action, nevertheless, this compound might have a potential to enter pre-clinical trials as a new anticancer drug.

We present the first BVR photometry,period variation and photometric light curve analysis of two poorly studied eclipsing binaries,V1321 Cyg and CR *** were carried out from November 2017 to january 2020 at the observatory of Uzhhorod National *** variations were studied using all available early published as well as our minima *** used the newly developed ELIS a code for the light curve analysis and determination of photometric parameters for both *** found that V1321 Cyg is a close detached eclipsing system with a low photometric mass ratio of q=0.28 which suggests that the binary is a post-mass transfer *** significant period changes in this system are *** Tau is,on the other hand,a semi-detached system where the secondary component almost fills its Roche *** detected a long-term period increase at a rate of 1.49 × 10^(-7) d yr^(-1),which supports mass transfer from the lower mass secondary component to the more massive primary.

＜正＞ Objective: In the present work,we tested four newly synthesized chalcones （Ch1 - Ch4） for their antiproliferative and antiangiogenic effects. Methods: MIT cytotoxicity assay,cell cycle analysis,apoptosis detection by flow cytometry or DNA fragmentation,endothelial cell migration （ECM）. inhibition of capillary tube formation （CTF） by human umbilical vein endothelial cells Results: We found the highest cytotoxic effect of *** of jurkat and HeLa cells with Ch1 at 1 mmol/L for 72h caused 87 and 45% reduction in cell survival, resp. Furthermore, it caused initial G2/M arrest in both cell lines followed by an increase in the proapoptotic sub-G0/G1 fraction. Apoptosis was also confirmed by both *** chalcones tested only Ch1 possess significant antiangiogenic effect. It completely inhibited CTF in concentrations 10-7 - 10-8 mol/***. Ch1 in the same concentrations blocked also ECM. .Conclusions: The present study demonstrates antiproliferative and antiangiogenic properties of selected chalcones. Ch1 turned out to be the most effective agent of all.

We present new analyses of variations in O-C diagrams of three Algol-type eclipsing binary stars：AD And,TW Cas and IV *** have used all published minima times（including visual and photographic）as well as newly determined ones from our and Super Wasp *** determined orbital parameters of 3^（rd） bodies in the systems with statistically significant errors,using our code based on genetic algorithms and Markov chain Monte Carlo *** confirmed the multiple nature of AD And and the triple-star model of TW Cas,and we proposed a quadruple-star model of IV Cas.

To investigate the mechanism of the antiproliferative effect of synthetic indole phytoalexin derivatives on human colorectal cancer cell lines. METHODSChanges in cell proliferation and the cytotoxic effect of the tested compounds on human colorectal cancer cell lines and human fibroblasts were evaluated using MTS and BrdU assay, allowing us to choose the most potent substance. Cell cycle alterations were analyzed using flow cytometric analysis. The apoptosis-inducing effect of compound K-453 on the HCT116 cell line was examined with annexin V/pI double staining using flow cytometry, as well as acridine orange/propidium iodide (AO/pI) staining. The flow cytometry method also allowed us to measure changes in levels or activation states of other factors associated with apoptosis, such as poly (ADp-ribose) polymerase (pARp), caspase-3 and -9, cytochrome c, Bcl-2 family proteins, and also the integrity of the mitochondrial membrane. To evaluate activity of the transcription factors and proteins involved in signaling pathways we used Western blot analysis together with flow cytometry. RESULTSAmong the ten tested compounds, compound K-453 {(±)-trans-1,2-dimethoxy-2’-(3,5-bis-trifluoromethylphenylamino)spiro{indoline-3,5’[4’,5’]dihydrothiazol} exhibited the most potent activity with IC50 = 32.22 ± 1.14 μmol/L in human colorectal HCT116 cells and was thus selected for further studies. Flow cytometric analysis revealed a K-453-induced increase in the population of cells with sub-G1 DNA content, which is considered as a marker of apoptotic cell death. The apoptosis-inducing effect of compound K453 was also confirmed by annexin V/pI double staining and AO/pI staining. The apoptosis was associated with the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential, pARp cleavage, caspase-3 and caspase-9 activation, release of cytochrome c, as well as changes in the levels of Bcl-2 family members. Moreover, flow cytometry showed that compound K-453 stimulates phosphorylation
