Modeling and Optimizations of Phosphate Removal from Aqueous Solutions Using Synthetic Zeolite Na-A

Synthetic zeolite Na-A was prepared from Egyptian kaolinite by hydrothermal treatment to be used as an adsorbent for removal of phosphate from aqueous solutions. The present work deals with the application of response surface methodology (RSM) and central composite rotatable design (CCRD) for modeling and optimization of the effect of four operating variables on the removal of phosphate from aqueous solution using zeolite Na-A. The parameters were contact time (0.5 - 6 h), phosphate anion concentrations (10 - 30 mg/L), adsorbent dosage (0.05 - 0.1 g), and solution pH (2 - 7). A total of 26 tests were conducted using the synthetic zeolite Na-A according to the conditions predicted by the statistical design. In order to optimize removal of phosphate by synthetic zeolite Na-A, mathematical equations of quadratic polynomial model were derived from Design Expert Software (Version 6.0.5). Such equations are second-order response functions which represent the amount of phosphate adsorbed (mg/g) and the removal efficiency (%) and are expressed as functions of the selected operating parameters. Predicted values were found to be in good agreement and correlation with experimental results (R2 values of 0.918 and 0.905 for amount of phosphate adsorbed and removal efficiency of it, respectively). To understand the effect of the four variables for optimal removal of phosphate using zeolite Na-A, the models were presented as cube and 3-D response surface graphs. RSM and CCRD could efficiently be applied for the modeling of removing of phosphate from aqueous solution using zeolite Na-A and it is efficient way for obtaining information in a short time and with the fewer number of experiments.

Short acting β2-agonists(SABAs)such as salbutamol and terbutaline are commonly used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).According to the guideline produced by the British Thoracic Society(BTS)and the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network(SIGN),SABAs are considered to be the first line of treatment in asthma *** National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence(NICE)guidelines also recommend the use of SABA as the first line of treatment for managing patients with *** recommendations in NICE guidelines state that in COPD patients,breathlessness and exercise limitation should be first medicated with short-acting bronchodilators(including β2-agonists or anticholinergics)when it is *** salbutamol and terbutaline have been widely used for asthma and COPD,and they have been found to be extremely beneficial in the two pathologic conditions.

The present investigations are associated with designing Morlet wavelet neural network(MWNN)for solving a class of susceptible,infected,treatment and recovered(SITR)fractal systems of COVID-19 propagation and *** structure of an error function is accessible using the SITR differential form and its initial *** optimization is performed using the MWNN together with the global as well as local search heuristics of genetic algorithm(GA)and active-set algorithm(ASA),i.e.,*** detail of each class of the SITR nonlinear COVID-19 system is also *** obtained outcomes of the SITR system are compared with the Runge-Kutta results to check the perfection of the designed *** statistical analysis is performed using different measures for 30 independent runs as well as 15 variables to authenticate the consistency of the proposed *** plots of the absolute error,convergence analysis,histogram,performancemeasures,and boxplots are also provided to find the exactness,dependability and stability of the MWNN-GA-ASA.

The iron doped brushite(Fe-DCPD) nano particles were synthesized via co-precipitation method with Fe concentrations(0 ≤x≤ 1) in steps 0.2. The influence of iron concentration on the crystallinity, particle shape,morphology, optical, magnetic and electrical properties was investigated. The results showed that iron doping content is the crucial factor in the variation of physical properties. The particle shape changed from spheres at x=0.2 to be fiber network at x = 0.8. The saturation magnetization(Ms) increased from 0.4(emu/g) at x = 0.2 to 1.6(emu/g) at x = 0.8 which is considered more than four times with a considerable decrease of coercive field.

Solitary Wave Solution of the Two-Dimensional Regularized Long-Wave and Davey-Stewartson Equations in Fluids and Plasmas

This paper investigates the solitary wave solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional regularized long-wave (2DRLG) equation which is arising in the investigation of the Rossby waves in rotating flows and the drift waves in plasmas and (2+1) dimensional Davey-Stewartson (DS) equation which is governing the dynamics of weakly nonlinear modulation of a lattice wave packet in a multidimensional lattice. By using extended mapping method technique, we have shown that the 2DRLG-2DDS equations can be reduced to the elliptic-like equation. Then, the extended mapping method is used to obtain a series of solutions including the single and the combined non degenerative Jacobi elliptic function solutions and their degenerative solutions to the above mentioned class of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs).
