M&gnetic relaxation and magnetization of the powder melting Y_(1-x)Ho_(x)Ba_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7)(x=0.2,0.4 and 0.6)samples have been measured at the temperature of *** pinning potential U and magnetization critical current density J_(c) have been obtained according to the Anderson-Kim model and Bean *** is found that both U and J_(c) were in^uenced by doping *** the sample with x=0.4 the pinning potential U has a value of 3.2 eV when the Held is equal to 1 kG and parallel to c-axis,which is the highest one we have known in the high Tc superconductors.

WMoTaNbTi RHEAs formed by SEBM with negative defocus distance were *** scanning speeds were applied,an electron beam with scanning speed at 2.5 m/s completely fused the premixed WMoTaNb alloyed powder and pure Ti *** vaporization of Nb and Ti elements happened during the formation of WMoTaNbTi RHEAs,however,the single BCC phase remains *** solid-solute strengthening caused by elemental vaporization,dropping percentage of Nb and Ti solutes in the matrix as well as improved ductilizing effects with decreasing scanning speeds leads to falling microhardness and better local *** of scanning speed at 4.0 m/s,3.5 m/s,3.0 m/s and 2.5 m/s is 578±17 HV,576±12 HV,573±10 HV and 511±2 HV,*** as-deposited WMoTaNbTi RHEA formed at a scanning speed of 2.5 m/s displays ultimate strength of 1312 MPa.

Grain refinement of superalloy K4169 was achieved by adding refiners into the alloy melt and their effects on the mechanical properties were investigated. The tensile properties at room temperature and 700 ℃ and low cycle fatigue properties at room temperature were compared for both conventional and fine grained test bars. The results indicate that the rupture strength, yield strength, elongation and reduction of area for refined grains are all much superior to those for coarse ones. Whereas the elongation and reduction of area of fine grained samples decrease at 700 ℃. Low cycle fatigue properties of samples with refined grains at room temperature are improved significantly. In addition, the degree of dispersion of low cycle fatigue data of samples with refined grains is diminished.

The effect of stress ratio on fatigue crack growth(FCG) behavior of Ti40 alloy was analyzed. A unified approach,developed by VASUDEVAN and SADANANDA was used. The approach is based on the realization that fatigue requires two load parameters for unambiguous description. They are two fracture mechanics parameters:the maximum stress intensity factor Kmax and the stress intensity amplitude △K. The results show that there are two mechanisms controlling the FCG behavior of Ti40 alloy. The curves of the two mechanisms in trajectory map are similar. They deviate to Kmax axial more strongly compared with other titanium alloy,which indicates that Ti40 alloy is more sensitive to environment.

Owing to its designability and intrinsic fluorescence,non-conjugated hyperbranched polysiloxane(HBPSi)has attracted widespread attention in biological filed,while it is still severely restricted by low fluorescence ***,in this paper,we introduced disulfide into HBPSi improving their luminescence properties and synthesized different molecular weight HBPSi(P1,P2,and P3).Surprisingly,P1 exhibited ultrahigh quantum yield up to 47.81%.Meanwhile,experiments applied with theoretical calculations were employed to explore the fluorescence mechanism,which is attributed to efficient restricting of non-radiative decay by clusteroluminogens formed with the cooperation of hyperbranched structure and double hydrogen *** addition,the biocompatibility of P1 was verified by co-culture with MC3T3-E1 and P1 lighted up mouse fibroblast cells without fluorescent *** work designed a novel fluorescent polymer with ultrahigh fluorescence quantum yield and cell imaging ability,which is promising in visualization diagnosis and treatment of tumor.

Fabrication of graphene nanoplatelets reinforced Mg matrix composites via powder thixoforging

A powder thixoforging route combined with slurry based mixing process was proposed to fabricate graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs) reinforced magnesium matrix composites(MgMCs). The originally spherical and ball-milled ZK60 powders were used as matrices, *** mixing of 0.05 wt.% GNPs with the spherical powder led to GNPs clusters and degraded the mechanical properties of the *** contrast, with the addition of an optimal content(0.1 wt.%) of GNPs, the composite fabricated from ball-milled powder achieved a joint enhancement in tensile yield strength(52%) and fracture toughness(19%), demonstrating a pronounced strengthening efficiency of 650% and a good balance between strength and toughness. The ball-milled powder endowed the composite with a homogenous distribution of GNPs and a denser microstructure with reduced Mg-Zn eutectics, and the thixoforging process offered a well-bonded Mg/GNP interface, making full use of the strengthening and toughening potential of GNPs. Theoretical predication based on a modified shear-lag model suggested that load transfer dominated the strengthening mechanisms. In-situ tensile tests verified that crack deflection, secondary cracks and GNPs bridging mainly accounted for the toughening mechanisms. A numerical model with consideration of GNPs orientations was also established to understand the toughening effect from GNPs bridging.
