ASL-OOD:Hierarchical Contextual feature fusion with Angle-Sensitive Loss for Oriented Object Detection

Detecting oriented targets in remote sensing images amidst complex and heterogeneous backgrounds remains a formidable challenge in the field of object *** frameworks for oriented detection modules are constrained by intrinsic limitations,including excessive computational and memory overheads,discrepancies between predefined anchors and ground truth bounding boxes,intricate training processes,and feature alignment *** overcome these challenges,we present ASL-OOD(Angle-based SIOU Loss for Oriented Object Detection),a novel,efficient,and robust one-stage framework tailored for oriented object *** ASL-OOD framework comprises three core components:the Transformer-based Backbone(TB),the Transformer-based Neck(TN),and the Angle-SIOU(Scylla Intersection over Union)based Decoupled Head(ASDH).By leveraging the Swin Transformer,the TB and TN modules offer several key advantages,such as the capacity to model long-range dependencies,preserve high-resolution feature representations,seamlessly integrate multi-scale features,and enhance parameter *** improvements empower the model to accurately detect objects across varying *** ASDH module further enhances detection performance by incorporating angle-aware optimization based on SIOU,ensuring precise angular consistency and bounding box *** approach effectively harmonizes shape loss and distance loss during the optimization process,thereby significantly boosting detection *** evaluations and ablation studies on standard benchmark datasets such as DOTA with an mAP(mean Average Precision)of 80.16 percent,HRSC2016 with an mAP of 91.07 percent,MAR20 with an mAP of 85.45 percent,and UAVDT with an mAP of 39.7 percent demonstrate the clear superiority of ASL-OOD over state-of-the-art oriented object detection *** findings underscore the model’s efficacy as an advanced solution for challenging remote sensing object detection tasks.

Cytoskeleton Dynamics: A Continuum Cooperative Hydrolysis Model

Cytoskeleton is a network of filamentous proteins, such as actin filaments and microtubules. We propose a continuum cooperative hydrolysis model which possesses exactly analytical solution to describe the dynamics of filament. The results show that the cooperativRy leads to non negative-exponential distribution of T （ATP or GTP） subunits. As an application, we investigate the treadmilling phenomenon using our model. It is shown that the cooperativity remarkably affects the length of filament.

Rational permeability coefficient of a permeable lining for composite tunnel lining structures

Various factors influence the tunneling are simplified considering the axial symmetry of the composite lining *** analytical expressions for the seepage field,stress,and displacement in the surrounding rock and those for the grouting circle,permeable lining,and ordinary lining are obtained according to the principle of effective *** seepage discharge,plastic zone,stress,and displacement around a tunnel affected by the different permeability coefficient ratios between the permeable lining and surrounding rock are *** reasonable value of permeability coefficient for the permeable lining are *** results show that the grouting circle controls the tunnel seepage discharge well and has a reasonable permeability coefficient and an optimal *** grouting circle controls the plastic zone development in the surrounding rock,i.e.,the thicker the grouting circle,the smaller the plastic zone in the surrounding *** tunnel seepage discharge and the effective stress in the grouting circle and lining increase gradually with the increasing of permeability coefficient ratio and tend to be stable after the ratio reaches *** analysis on the factors such as the stability of tunnel seepage discharge,the plastic zone of the surrounding rock and the stress around the tunnel indicates that it is relatively reasonable for the permeability coefficient ratio to be greater than or equal to 0.1.

Stay-green(SG)in wheat is a beneficial trait that increases yield and stress ***,conventional phenotyping techniques limited the understanding of its genetic *** indices(SIs)as non-destructive tools to evaluate crop temporal senescence provide an alternative ***,we applied Sls to monitor the senescence dynamics of 565 diverse wheat accessions from anthesis to maturation stages over 2 field *** Sis(normalized difference vegetation index,green normalized difference vegetation index,normalized difference red edge index,and optimized soil-adjusted vegetation index)were normalized to develop relative stay-green scores(RSGS)as the SG *** RSGS-based genome-wide association study identified 47 high-confidence quantitative trait loci(QTL)harboring 3,079 single-nucleotide polymorphisms associated with SG and 1,085 corresponding candidate *** them,15 QTL overlapped or were adjacent to known SG-related QTL/genes,while the remaining QTL were ***,a set of favorable haplotypes of SG-related candidate genes such as TraesCS2A03G1081100,TracesCS6B03G0356400,and TracesCS2B03G1299500 are increasing following the Green Revolution,further validating the feasibility of the *** study provided a valuable reference for further quantitative SG and genetic research in diverse wheat panels.

Spatial patterns and storage composition of woody debris in a natural secondary forest dominated by Pinus tabulaeformis on Loess Plateau, China

Woody debris(WD) is an important par of natural Pinus tabulaeformis mixed stands, and i affects the forest ecosystem stability and developmen The WD spatial patterns are especially importan structural characteristics that can provide insights into forest dynamics. In this paper, the WD storage WD spatial patterns and WD associations among the main species were examined in the natural secondary forest on Loess Plateau in northwest China. Data were collected in a 1 ha(100 m × 100 m) permanent plot and all the trees with a diameter at breast height o more than 3 cm were measured and stem-mapped Ripley's K functions from the spatial-point-pattern analysis method were used to analyze the spatia distribution and associations. The results showed tha(1) The total storage of WD was 10.73 t/ha, fallen wood was the main source of WD, and the majority diameters were greater than 20 cm, and in intermediate levels of decay;(2) The overall spatia pattern was closely related to the spatial scale, which exhibited an aggregated pattern on a small scale, and a random pattern on a large scale. The spatia patterns of coarse woody debris also gradually transitioned from an aggregated pattern in fine scales to a random pattern in broader spatial scales, which matched the overall spatial pattern. The spatial intensity was gradually decreased with the increasing diameters, and increased with the decomposition classes;(3) The WD of Pinus tabulaeformis species was negatively associated with Betula platyphylla and Populus davidiana on a small scale but positively associated with these species on a large scale. The spatial pattern and interspecies relations were the results of long-term interactions between the natural secondary forest community and the surrounding natural environment. These findings would provide a scientific basis for the sustainable management and protection of natural secondary forest ecosystems on Loess Plateau.

Trends of Yield and Soil fertility in a Long-Term Wheat-Maize System

The sustainability of the wheat-maize rotation is important to China＇s food security. Intensive cropping without recycling crop residues or other organic inputs results in the loss of soil organic matter （SOM） and nutrients, and is assumed to be non- sustainable. We evaluated the effects of nine different treatments on yields, nitrogen use efficiency, P and K balances, and soil fertility in a wheat-maize rotation system （1991-2010） on silt clay loam in Shaanxi, China. The treatments involved the application of recommended dose of nitrogen （N）, nitrogen and phosphorus （NP）, nitrogen and potassium （NK）, phosphorus and potassium （PK）, combined NPK, wheat or maize straw （S） with NPK （SNPK）, or dairy manure （M） with NPK （M1NPK and M2NPK）, along with an un-treated control treatment （CK）. The mean yields of wheat and maize ranged from 992 and 2 235 kg ha-1 under CK to 5 962 and 6 894 kg ha-1 under M2NPK treatment, respectively. Treatments in which either N or P was omitted （N, NK and PK） gave significantly lower crop yields than those in which both were applied. The crop yields obtained under NP, NPK and SNPK treatments were statistically identical, as were those obtained under SNPK and MNPK. However, M2NPK gave a significant higher wheat yield than NP, and MNPK gave significant higher maize yield than both NP and NPK. Wheat yields increased significantly （by 86 to 155 kg ha-1 yr-1） in treatments where NP was applied, but maize yields did not. In general, the nitrogen use efficiency of wheat was the highest under the NP and NPK treatments; for maize, it was the highest under MNPK treatment. The P balance was highly positive under MNPK treatment, increasing by 136 to 213 kg ha-1 annually. While the K balance was negative in most treatments, ranging from 31 to 217 kg ha^-1 yr^-1, levels of soil available K remained unchanged or increased over the 20 yr. This study builds a simulation of Chinese carbon sequestration market(CSM) based on the Swarm platform and complex adaptive system(CAS) *** simulation results represent that the total assets and profits of the carbon sequestration project(CSP) buyer and seller are steadily on the increase in the carbon trading *** market regulatory efficiency is determined by the market investment and the improvement of regulation ***,the real sample simulation of Sichuan Daduhe forest CSP demonstrates that the profit of CSP traded in the CSM is higher than the profit from the transactions of outside *** implies that establishing CSM is an effective way to improve the CSP business for investors and a positive action to response to global warming as ***,this study applies an Analytic Hierarchy Process-fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation(AHPfCE) approach to evaluate the reliability of CSM *** concludes that the CSM simulation is "more creditable",which indicates that the CSM simulation results can be used as a proxy to observe the market uncertainties.

Ecological security pattern construction using landscape ecological quality:A case study of Yanchi County,northern China

Mask-coding-assisted continuous-variable quantum direct communication with orbital angular momentum multiplexing

Quantum secure direct communication(QSDC) is a communication method based on quantum mechanics and it is used to transmit secret messages. Unlike quantum key distribution, secret messages can be transmitted directly on a quantum channel with QSDC. Higher channel capacity and noise suppression capabilities are key to achieving longdistance quantum communication. Here, we report a continuous-variable QSDC scheme based on mask-coding and orbital angular momentum, in which the mask-coding is employed to protect the security of the transmitting messages and to suppress the influence of excess noise. The combination of orbital angular momentum and information block transmission effectively improves the secrecy capacity. In the 800 information blocks ×1310 bits length 10-km experiment, the results show a statistical average bit error rate of 0.38%, a system excess noise value of 0.0184 SNU, and a final secrecy capacity of 6.319×10～6 bps. Therefore, this scheme reduces error bits while increasing secrecy capacity, providing a solution for long-distance large-scale quantum communication, which is capable of transmitting text, images and other information of reasonable size.
