The application of artificial intelligence technology in Internet of Vehicles(lov)has attracted great research interests with the goal of enabling smart transportation and traffic ***,concerns have been raised over the security and privacy of the tons of traffic and vehicle *** this regard,Federated Learning(FL)with privacy protection features is considered a highly promising ***,in the FL process,the server side may take advantage of its dominant role in model aggregation to steal sensitive information of users,while the client side may also upload malicious data to compromise the training of the global *** existing privacy-preserving FL schemes in IoV fail to deal with threats from both of these two sides at the same *** this paper,we propose a Blockchain based Privacy-preserving Federated Learning scheme named BPFL,which uses blockchain as the underlying distributed framework of *** improve the Multi-Krum technology and combine it with the homomorphic encryption to achieve ciphertext-level model aggregation and model filtering,which can enable the verifiability of the local models while achieving ***,we develop a reputation-based incentive mechanism to encourage users in IoV to actively participate in the federated learning and to practice *** security analysis and performance evaluations are conducted to show that the proposed scheme can meet the security requirements and improve the performance of the FL model.

In this paper,we present a comparison of Khasi speech representations with four different spectral features and novel extension towards the development of Khasi speech *** four features include linear predictive coding(LPC),linear prediction cepstrum coefficient(LPCC),perceptual linear prediction(PLP),and Mel frequency cepstral coefficient(MFCC).The 10-hour speech data were used for training and 3-hour data for *** each spectral feature,different hidden Markov model(HMM)based recognizers with variations in HMM states and different Gaussian mixture models(GMMs)were *** performance was evaluated by using the word error rate(WER).The experimental results show that MFCC provides a better representation for Khasi speech compared with the other three spectral features.

Background:Early singular nodular hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is an ideal surgical indication in clinical ***,almost half of the patients have tumor recurrence,and there is no reliable prognostic prediction ***,it is unclear whether preoperative neoadjuvant therapy is necessary for patients with early singular nodular HCC and which patient needs *** is critical to identify the patients with high risk of recurrence and to treat these patients preoperatively with neoadjuvant therapy and thus,to improve the outcomes of these *** present study aimed to develop two prognostic models to preoperatively predict the recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with singular nodular HCC by integrating the clinical data and radiological ***:We retrospective recruited 211 patients with singular nodular HCC from December 2009 to January 2019 at eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital(EHBH).They all met the surgical indications and underwent radical *** randomly divided the patients into the training cohort(n=132)and the validation cohort(n=79).We established and validated multivariate Cox proportional hazard models by the preoperative clinicopathologic factors and radiological features for association with RFS and *** analyzing the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,the discrimination accuracy of the models was compared with that of the traditional predictive ***:Our RFS model was based on HBV-DNA score,cirrhosis,tumor diameter and tumor capsule in *** nomogram had fine calibration and discrimination capabilities,with a C-index of 0.74(95%CI:0.68-0.80).The OS nomogram,based on cirrhosis,tumor diameter and tumor capsule in imaging,had fine calibration and discrimination capabilities,with a C-index of 0.81(95%CI:0.74-0.87).The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of our model was larger than that of traditional liver cancer staging system,Korea model and N

Background Pediatric surgical practice lags behind medicine in presence and use of evidence,primarily due to time constraints of using existing tools that are not specific to pediatric surgery,lack of sufficient patient data and unstructured pediatric surgery training *** We developed,disseminated and tested the effectiveness of an evidence-based resource for pediatric surgeons and researchers that provides brief,informative summaries of quality-assessed systematic reviews and meta-analyses on conflicting pediatric surgery *** Responses of 91 actively practicing surgeons who used the resource were *** majority of participants found the resource useful(75%),improved their patient care(66.6%),and more than half(54.2%)found it useful in identifying research *** all participants reported that the resource could be used as a teaching tool(93%).Conclusion Lack of awareness of the resource is the primary barrier to its routine use,leading to potential calls for more active dissemination *** of the Canadian Association of Paediatric Surgeons Evidence-Based Resource find that the summaries are useful,identify research gaps,help mitigate multiple barriers to evidence-based medicine,and may improve patient care.

Extreme climate events have profound impacts on economies and livelihoods of many regions of the world. In Kenya, the extreme climate events often have strong impacts on agriculture production systems in the Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs). A small change in the mean climate condition can cause large changes in these production systems. There is a paucity of information on trends in climate and climate extremes in the country. However, a joint World Meteorological Commission for Climatology/World Climate Research Programme (WCPRP) project on climate Variability and Predictability (WMO CCl/CLIVAR) Expert Team (ET) on Climate Change Detection, Monitoring and Indices has defined 27 core climate indices mainly focusing on extreme events which can be derived through the use of RClimDex Software. In this study, therefore, the RClimDex software has been used to derive climate extreme indices for five stations in the ASALs of South-eastern Kenya based on climate data for the period 1961 to 2009. The objective was to examine trends in these extremes to aid agricultural planning and practice. These indices have shown decreasing trends in annual rainfall, rainfall intensity and consecutive wet days but increasing trends in consecutive dry days. Steady warming patterns were evident in both the maximum and minimum temperature indices. This paper concludes that indeed significant changes in climate extremes are apparent in the ASALs of the country and recommends a re-thinking of planning and practice of rain-fed agriculture in the ASALs of South-eastern Kenya.

This essay, aiming at some problems existing in the current engineering education field and based on the engineering education cooperation and practice of substation secondary equipment maintenance of State Grid of China Technology College-State Grid Corporation of China skills training centre and Shandong university, explores the function of enterprise skills training center in the engineering education and the combination model of production, study and research. Moreover, this essay brings forward the feasible scheme for the next cooperation mode in the combination model of production and research of universities and enterprise skills training center and the engineering education development mode.
