Since the advent of transgenic technology,the incorporation of gene(s)encoding traits of economic importance in cotton is being practiced ***,factors like recalcitrant nature of cotton cultivars,in vitro regeneration via tissue culture(especially via somatic embryogenesis),genotype dependency,long and toilsome protocols impede the pace of development of transgenic *** that,types and age of explants,media composition,plant growth regulators and other environmental factors affect in vitro cotton regeneration *** studies of genetic control of in vitro regeneration in plants have elucidated the role of certain transcription factor genes that are induced and expressed during somatic *** these transcription factors,BABY BOOM(BBM)plays a very important role in signal transduction pathway,leading to cell differentiation and somatic embryos *** role of BBM has been established in plant cell proliferation,growth and development even without exogenous growth *** review intends to provide an informative summary of regeneration and transformation problems in cotton and the latest developments in utilization of BBM transcription factors in *** believe that the use of BBM will not only ease cotton genetic improvement but will also accelerate cotton breeding programmes.

This study investigates speculative bubbles in the cryptocurrency market and factors affecting bubbles during the COVID-19 *** results indicate that each cryptocurrency covered in the study presented ***,we found that explosive behavior in one currency leads to explosivity in other *** the pandemic,herd behavior was evident among investors;however,this diminishes during bubbles,indicating that bubbles are not explained by herd *** cryptocurrency and market-specific factors,we found that Google Trends and volume are positively associated with predicting speculative bubbles in time-series and panel probit ***,investors should exercise caution when investing in cryptocurrencies and follow both crypto currency and market-related factors to estimate *** liquidity,volatility,and Google Trends measures are used for robustness analysis and yield similar ***,our results suggest that bubble behavior is common in the cryptocurrency market,contradicting the efficient market hypothesis.

The dependence of proton emission half-lives on the nuclear asymmetry parameter is investigated using the WKB method and two types of empirical *** the single-folding formalism with asymmetry-depend-ent nuclear radius and surface diffuseness of nuclear matter,the nuclear potential and consequently the half-life are functions of the asymmetry *** small values of asymmetry in neutron-deficient proton emitters,notice-able changes in the half-lives are *** addition of an asymmetry parameter term to the two forms of empir-ical formulas leads to a reduction in the rms error for ground state and isomeric transitions.A noticeable reduction of about 43%is obtained for isomeric transitions in the second form of the empirical *** ground state transitions in two categories,odd-even and odd-odd emitters,and adopting deformation and asymmetry-dependent empirical formulas,the rms decreases *** low est values of rms errors,viz.0.1492,0.2312,and 0.1999,are obtained for the aforementioned empirical formulas for ground state transitions of odd-even and odd-odd emit-ters and for all isomeric transitions,respectively.

The current earthquake forecast algorithms are not free of shortcomings due to inherent ***,the requirement of stationarity in the evaluation of earthquake time series as a prerequisite,significantly limits the use of forecast algorithms to areas where stationary data is not *** shortcoming of forecast algorithms is the ergodicity assumption,which states that certain characteristics of seismicity are spatially *** this study,a new earthquake forecast approach is introduced for the locations where stationary data are not *** this purpose,the spatial activity rate density for each spatial unit is evaluated as a parameter of a Markov *** temporal pattern is identified by setting the states at certain spatial activity rate *** using the transition patterns between the states,1-and 5-year forecasts were *** method is suggested as an alternative and complementary to the existing methods by proposing a solution to the issues of ergodicity and stationarity assumptions at the same time.

A synchrotron radiation source called TURKAY is proposed as a sub-project of the Turkish Accelerator Center Project. The storage ring of TURKAY is a low emittance synchrotron and the radiation ranges between 0.01 and 60 keV can be generated from the insertion devices and bending magnets placed on it. The injector system of the facility will mainly consist of a 150 MeV linac and full energy booster. In this study, we present design considerations and beam dynamics studies of the pre-injector linac and booster ring for TURKAY.

A formulation previously presented by the authors for coulomb integrals was generalized to other two-center integrals, except exchange integral. Within this frame, molecular integrals were expressed in terms of some new functions closely related to the well-known incomplete gamma functions and these functions recursively evaluated. Special issues arising in the case of hybrid integrals were addressed, and the results were compared with the ones found in the literature.

A country’s foreign policy process is also a decision-making process. Foreign policy is a rational, multifaceted, and balanced area that needs to be thought and executed. States operate within the framework of the decisions of governments. The decision-making process can change its direction with reflections and influences from national, regional, and international politics. While some theories think that governments/decision-makers are rational actors, there are other theories. Decision-makers/governments are able to make decisions in accordance with national interests. Who or which institution will determine what a country’s national interest is and whether its foreign policy is in the national interest. Claiming that a foreign policy carried out by political will is in line with national interest and gives it a certain degree of legitimacy and authority. The main problem here is the identification of national interest with the discourse/policies of those officially responsible for the conduct of foreign policy. National interest can best be determined if it has become a verifiable expression of the priorities of a nation. Heads of state trust their advisors in their immediate surroundings when making foreign policy decisions, so it is important to recognize the composition of the immediate environment. In authoritarian and totalitarian regimes, such as Iran, ideology and leader are vital in foreign policy. The Iranian geopolitics, the ideological structure of the political regime, and the constitutional structure, which is constitutionally effective and superior, should be analyzed in order to examine Iran’s foreign policy. This comprehensive assay will naturally exceed the purpose and scope of this study.

The mechanical properties of commercial dual phase （DP）, transformation induced plasticity （TRIP）, and high strength low alloy （HSLA-340） steel sheets are investigated and compared at various strain rates ranging from 0.001 7to 0.17 s-1 at ambient *** steel outperforms the other two materials , having comparable ductility and twice as large strength relative to DP *** has larger strength and much larger ductility than *** exceuent ductility of TRIP800is due to its high strain hardening capability , which promotes stable plastic *** is observed that the strain hardening rate in TRIP800does not decrease to zero at failure , as common in most materials in which failure is preceded by necking.

Grain size and mineral composition of core sediments were used to investigate influences of various terrestrial and marine conditions,which have prevailed on the southwestern Black Sea shelf during the *** mud with small amounts of sand and gravel from nearby coastal hinterland is the principal sediment type,whereas sediments deposited near the shelf edge and the Istanbul Strait and off the Duru Lake(a paleo-river mouth)constitued large quantities of sand and gravel of both biogenic and terrigenic *** amounts of aragonite,1 nmmicas,quartz,feldspars,calcite and dolomite constitute the dominant non-clay minerals in bulk *** clay mineral assemblage in the〈2μm fraction is made up of smectite,illite,kaolinite and *** and calcite are mainly derived from benthic accumulations,whereas feldspars(mainly plagioclase)and smectite reflect magmaticvolcanic provenance and the distribution of 1 nm-micas and chlorite correlate with nearby metamorphic sources ***,grain size and mineral distribution generally indicate a combination of effects of wind and wave climate,longshore and offshore cyclonic currents,changing sea-level stands and nearby source rock and morphological *** is also suggested that at least part of clay minerals could be derived from the northwesterly Danube River input.
