The deep geological nuclear waste disposal has been considered as a crucial worldwide environmental issue. Recently, with its great economical growth, China pays more and more attentions to nuclear energy production; the production capacity is expected to reach 40 GW by 2020. As a result, the waste production after 2020 is estimated to reach 1 000 t per year (Wang et al. 2006). In this context, nuclear waste disposal has become an urgent issue.
