PBQ[1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(pyridin-3-yl)urea],an enormous potent molluscicide,showed excellent Pomacea canaliculata(***)control activity and low toxicity for other aquatic organisms,but its snail-killing mechanisms are still not fully *** employed an optical method to elucidate PBQ action via a novel fluorescent viscosity probe,*** the viscosity in the test solutions increased,compared with that in pure ethanol,a 54-fold fluorescence intensity enhancement of NCV was observed in 310 cP of 90%***,NCV successfully exhibited a selective fluorescence response towards monensin-induced cellular viscosity changes in HepG2 *** liver,stomach,and foot plantar of the tested snails were frozen and sectioned for fluorescent imaging experiments after the treatment with different PBQ concentrations over various times.A significant fluorescent increase in the snail's liver was observed upon exposure to 0.75 mg/L PBQ for 72 h,which highlighted an increase in *** and eosin(HE)staining further supported PBQ-induced liver damage with a viscosity increase in *** study provides a new rapid optical visualization method to study the killing mechanisms of PBQ and may help discover new chemicals that control snail populations.

The Pomacea canaliculata, also known as apple snail, is an invasive species in China, posing a serious threat to agricultural production and public health. To prevent its rampant infestation, we developed a highly efficient snail-killing lead compound, 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(pyridin-3-yl)urea (PBQ). However, the killing mechanism of PBQ remains unclear. To elucidate this, two novel compounds, B-PBQ and J-PBQ, were developed through structural modification of PBQ and were used, through both protein pull-down assay and confocal laser scanning microscopy imaging, to identify and confirm that phosphofructokinase(PFK) in the apple snail is the primary target protein of PBQ. Further studies revealed that PBQ successfully inhibits the activity,content, and expression of PFK in apple snail, disrupting the glycolysis pathway and leading to abnormal energy *** disruptions impair the snail’s tolerance to low oxygen, resulting in its efficient eradication. These findings offer a promising direction for developing next-generation PFK-targeted snail-killing pesticides. Furthermore, the strategy of combining pull-down assays with optical imaging used in this work provides a novel approach for the exploration of mechanisms of other pesticide candidates.

To enable simultaneous transmit and receive(STAR) on the same frequency in a densely deployed space with multi-interference sources, this work proposes a digitally-assisted analog selfinterference cancellation method, which can acquire reference signals through flexible wired/wireless switching access. Based on this method, the Minimum Mean Square Error algorithm with known channel state information is derived in detail, determining the upper limit of the cancellation performance, and the Adaptive Dithered Linear Search algorithm for real-time engineering cancellation is *** correctness of theoretical analysis is verified by the practical self-interference channel measured by a vector network analyzer. Furthermore, we have designed and implemented the corresponding multiinterference cancellation prototype with the digitallyassisted structure, capable of handling multiple interferences(up to three) and supporting a large receive bandwidth of 100 MHz as well as a wide frequency coverage from 30 MHz to 3000 MHz. Prototype test results demonstrate that in the presence of three interferences, when the single interference bandwidth is 0.2/2/20 MHz(corresponding to the receive bandwidth of 2/20/100 MHz), the cancellation performance can reach 46/32/22 d B or more.

The title compound 2-（2-methoxy-4-nitrophenylcarbamoyl）phenyl-4＇-fluorobenzoate （C21H15FN206, Mr = 410.35）, a fluorine-containing derivative of salicylamide, was conve- niently synthesized through two steps and crystallized in the orthorhombic space group P21/c with a = 7.6453（15）, b = 14.323（3）, c = 17.035（3） A, V= 1865.4（6） A3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.461 Mg/m^3, 2 = 0.71073 A, μ（MoKa） = 0.115 mm-1, F（000） = 848, R = 0.0705 and wR = 0.1834 for 3267 independent refections with 1 〉 2σ（I）. X-ray analysis reveals that the dihedral angles formed between the 2-methoxy-4-nitrobenzene and benzene ring, the benzene and 4-fluorobenzene, and the 2-methoxy-4-nitrobenzene and 4-fluorobenzene ring are 3.2（4）, 69.8（3） and 72.9（2）~, respectively. Bioassay shows that the title compound has anti-parasitic activity against hydatid protoscoleces.

Introduction The Haemophilus influenzae type b(Hib)conjugate vaccine is widely administered in *** We extracted data on Hib vaccine doses administered and adverse events following immunization(AEFI)reported between 2010 and 2021 from the Chinese national Immunization Information System(CNIIS).A descriptive analysis was conducted to examine the characteristics and incidence rates of AEFI with the Hib *** In China,between 2010 and 2021,a total of 52,910 AEFIs with the Hib vaccine were reported,resulting in an overall AEFI reporting rate of 38.10 per 100,000 ***(typically minor)and rare(potentially serious)vaccine reactions occurred at rates of 34.71 and 2.78 per 100,000 doses,*** the common vaccine reactions,the incidences of fever(axillary temperature≥38.6℃),injection site redness and swelling(>2.5 cm in diameter),and injection site induration(>2.5 cm in diameter)were 11.93,9.69,and 3.38 per 100,000 doses,*** vaccine reactions included anaphylactic rash,angioedema,and febrile convulsion with reported incidences of 2.42,0.10,and 0.05 per 100,000 doses,*** incidence of serious rare vaccine reactions was 0.16 per 100,000 *** The reported incidence of AEFI with the Hib vaccine was low,with the occurrence of serious rare adverse reactions also being markedly low throughout the period 2010–2021 in China.
