Study on Absorption Rate by Eccentric Mechanical Stirring in Gas Injection Refining for Iron and Steel Making

In gas injection refining processes, a great amount of gas is injected into molten metal in short time, so that very large bubbles are inevitably formed. Wide dispersion of small bubbles in the bath is indispensable for high refining efficiency. Eccentric mechanical stirring with unidirectional impeller rotation was tested using a water model for pursuing better bubble disintegration and dispersion. Absorption rate are used to research on the influence law of the bubble dispersion and disintegration and gas-liquid absorption by the influence of, rotation mode, rotation speed and gas flow rate. Compared to the experimental results of absorption rate under eccentric stirring and centric stirring ,provide the scientific experimental and theoretical guidance for high-temperature experiment of hot metal desulfurization .According to experimental and theoretical analysis, this paper has studied various factors effecting on gas absorption process and volumetric mass transfer coefficient using the system of *** results show that:the volumetric mass transfer coefficient and absorption efficiency of CO2 can be increased under eccentric stirring mode, Because bubble disperse quickly with eccentric mechanical stirring, which results in promoting complete reaction between CO2 and NaOH, and improving the mass transfer coefficient and absorption. Volumetric mass transfer coefficient and efficiency of CO2 increase with the increasing rotation speed under the condition of eccentric stirring .But volumetric mass transfer coefficient and efficiency of CO2 decrease with the increasing rotation speed under the condition of centric stirring.

On urban arterials,travel time variability is largely dependent on the variability in the delays vehicles experience at signalized *** interpretation of delay evolvement at intersections will give a comprehensive insight into arterial travel time variability and provide more possibilities for travel time ***,an analytical model is proposed to study delay variability at isolated,fixed-time controlled *** cumulative curves are utilized to derive average delay(per cycle) formulas by assuming a deterministic overflow ***,an analogy with the Markov chain process is made to clarify the mechanism of stochastic delays and overflow queues at signalized *** was found that,in undersaturated cases,the shape of the delay distribution changes very little over time,whereas for saturated and oversaturated cases the delay distribution is time-dependent and becomes flatter with an increasing number of *** analysis of arrival distributions,e.g.,Poisson and binomial,produces the conclusion that the variability of arrivals has a significant effect on delay estimates in both undersaturated and oversaturated conditions.A larger variance of arrival flow results in a larger variance of delay *** of these analyses can help road authorities to gain insights into arterial travel time variability.

BACKGROUND Retrograde cholangiopancreatography using double-balloon endoscopic retrograde cholangiography(DBERC)is a valuable technique to treat biliary stone and jejunobiliary anastomotic stenosis in patients with altered gastrointestinal *** accurate selection of the route at the anastomosis branch is one of the most important factors in reaching the target in a timely *** To determine the accuracy of carbon dioxide insufflation enterography(CDE)at the branch for selecting the correct route during *** We enrolled 52 consecutive patients scheduled for DBERC at our institution from June 2015 to November *** selection via two methods(visual observation and CDE)was performed in each *** determined the correct rate of route selection using *** Thirty-three patients had a jejunojejunal anastomosis and 19 patients had a gastrojejunal *** therapeutic target region was reached in 50 *** mean procedure times from the teeth to the target(total insertion time),from the teeth to the branch,and from the branch to the target,and the mean total examination time were 15.2,5.0,8.2,and 60.3 min,*** rate of correct route selection using visual observation and CDE were 36/52(69.2%)and 48/52(92.3%),respectively(P=0.002).The rate of correct route selection using CDE in patients with a jejunojejunal anastomosis was 29/33(87.8%),and the rate in patients with a gastrojejunal anastomosis was 19/19(100%).CONCLUSION CDE is helpful in selecting the route at the branch in the anastomosis for more timely access to the target in patients with altered gastrointestinal anatomy undergoing DBERC.

GMR effect of multilayers of bcc-Fe(M)(M=Co, Ni) alloy and Cu layers has been investigated. The maximum MR ratio is found at 1.1 nm Fe(Co) and 1.3～1.4 nm Cu layer thickness in [Fe(Co)/CuJ, and at 1.6 nm Fe(Ni) and 1.4 nm Cu layer thickness in [Fe(Ni)/Cu]. Under the optimum annealing condition, the MR ratio increases up to 50% and 38% for Fe(Co) and Fe(Ni) systems, respectively. The origin of the increase of GMR is discussed, taking the progress of preferred orientation of Fe(Co)[100] or Fe(Ni)[100] by anneahng into account.

本文利用微型水轮机技术,着重对污水管道水力发电的可行性进行了研究。首先,对日本丰川河流域排水系统两连接点处的污水流量进行了一年以上的观测,借此分析污水的水力势能;其次,假定微型水轮机被安装在污水管道的连接点位置,通过实验室试验研究微型水轮机的性能。研究表明:污水管道的连接点处蕴藏有可用于全年发电的水力势能,同时,微型水轮机在该位置可以有效地进行污水水力发电。

The effect of oxidation pretreatment temperature(500 ~ 1 000 ℃) on the catalytic activity of Kovar applied on hydrocarbon CO2reforming was examined. Catalytic performance evaluation using tetradecane at 800 ℃ with 70 μmol/s CO2revealed 700 and 1 000 ℃ as the best pre-oxidation temperature in producing CO and H2,respectively. XRD and SEM-EDX analyses showed that a separate metal oxide layer composed of iron oxide(Fe2O3and F3O4),nickel,cobalt,and possibly their respective oxides started to form when oxidation was conducted at 700 ℃ or *** presence of iron enhanced the stability of nickel in the structure while the compact structure of Fe3O4resulted into the formation of a thick and rigid metal oxide layer on the surface of the Kovar tube. The strong physical bond between the metal oxide layer and Kovar tube provided the catalyst good mechanical strength and consequently good catalytic activity.
