To evaluate and discuss two novels in vitro alternative tests which based on the 2nd and 4th event of the AOP in skin sensitization and their application in skin sensitization evaluation of cosmetics in *** DSens(DSens method)and Jurkat(TCPA method)were used as the test models and 9 of reference chemicals and 12 kinds of cosmetic products were used to confirm and assess the application capability in skin *** results showed that the DSens method was more sensitive to the reference chemicals compare to the TCPA *** the results of cosmetic products showed a high consistency between these two assays and h-CLAT or in vivo *** the new screening method for skin sensitization evaluation of cosmetics,the in vitro alternative tests based on AOP have certain *** reasonable combination strategy can bring a bright future for the development and application of animal alternative test in China.

Study on the effect of four kinds of raw materials in hypertonic dehydration cell model

It aims to investigate the protective effects of sodium hyaluronate,panthenol,Portulaca oleracea *** Calendula officinalis *** hyperosmotic dehydration-induced injury of human immortalized keratinocytes(HaCaT).The safety mass concentrations of four raw materials were screened by detecting cell viability,and the secretion of hyaluronic acid(HA)was determined using the ELISA *** expression of HaCaT barrier function related genes(OVOL1,EREG,TGM1,TGM2,IVL,IRF6,THBS1,CASP14)was detected at the mRNA level to explore the regulatory effect of four raw materials on these *** results demonstrate that pretreatment with the four kinds of raw materials could increase the cell viability after hyperosmotic dehydration,promote the secretion of HA,and improve the expression of barrier function related genes after hyperosmotic dehydration,among which panthenol and Calendula officinalis *** *** results show that the four raw materials have a certain protective effect on the hyperosmotic dehydration cell model,which provides data support for its application in cosmetics.

To the Editor:Psoriasis is a common chronic immunemediated systemic inflammatory disease[1]characterized by irritating skin erythema,reduced quality of life,and associated systemic diseases including cardiovascular disease,diabetes,and metabolic *** 2017,0.5%of China’s population was diagnosed with psoriasis.[2]To improve the overall diagnosis and treatment level of psoriasis in China,the National Clinical Research Center for Skin and Immune Disease launched a national collaborative project called the Psoriasis Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Center(also named Psoriasis Center)project,[3]in which the first national real-world big data collection platform,Psoriasis Center Registry,was established with more than 300 medical centers across China by *** study aimed to update the current general characteristics and treatment distribution of patients with psoriasis in China by describing the registry data at enrollment.

Objective:Current theories highlight the role of the microbiome in the pathogenesis of ***,abnormal metabolism can alter disease processes in terms of occurrence,progression,and ***,an integrative microbiome and metabolome analysis of the skin may aid in understanding the disease pathogenesis and identify therapeutic targets for ***:We recruited 22 patients with psoriasis and 22 age-and sex-matched healthy *** swabs were collected from the participants’*** samples underwent amplicon sequencing of the internal transcribed spacer 1 and V3V416S rRNA regions and metabolome *** amplicon data,analysis of the alpha diversities,microbial community structures and principal coordinate analysis were *** metabolites and pathway enrichment were analyzed for metabolome *** test and Wilcoxon rank sum test were used for statistical ***:The psoriatic lesions were characterized by higher bacterial diversity,significantly higher abundances ofCorynebacterium(P<0.001)andStaphylococcus(P=0.012),and a lower abundance ofCutibacterium(P<0.001)compared with healthy ***,no significant alterations in the fungal diversity or fungal taxonomies were *** analysis revealed that prostaglandin-related metabolites,nucleotides,and cysteine-and methionine-related metabolites were significantly enriched in patients with psoriasis,and these metabolites were positively correlated with the disease-associated bacteriaStaphylococcus ***:We demonstrated significant alterations in the skin microbiome and metabolome in patients with psoriasis compared with healthy controls.

Objective:To investigate the radioactivity levels of seawater,sediments,and biota in the Daya Bay sea area,China,in order to establish the radioactivity baseline values,and provide basic data for the assessment of potential radiological risks that might result from the application of nuclear technology or human ***:Samples of seawater,sediments,and biota were collected from the Daya Bay sea area and *** radioactivity baseline data were then compared with information from other regions in China and around the world reported in related ***:For the seawater samples,the activity concentrations of natural radionuclide ^(40)K were 9.9-10.4 Bq/L,while ^(238)U,226Ra,^(210)Pb,^(137)Cs,and ^(110)Ag^(m) were below the minimum detectable activity(MDA).Regarding the sediment samples,the activity concentrations of ^(238)U,^(228)Ra,^(226)Ra,^(210)Pb,^(40)K,and ^(137)Cs were 38.1-40.4,49.1-53.7,32.6-38.6,59-95,590-650,and 0.48-0.88 Bq/(kg dry weight),respectively,while ^(110)Agm was below the *** the marine shrimps in the biota samples,the activity concentrations of ^(228)Ra,^(226)Ra,^(40)K,and ^(137)Cs were 1.14-2.75,0.17-0.43,63-76,and 0.038-0.045 Bq/(kg wet weight),respectively,while ^(238)U,^(210)Pb,and ^(110)Agm were all below the ***,for the marine fishes in the biota samples,the activity concentrations of ^(228)Ra,^(226)Ra,^(210)Pb,^(40)K,and ^(137)Cs were 2.1-19.7,0.32-3.78,<2.2-2.8,59-70,and<0.007-0.026 Bq/(kg wet weight),respectively,while ^(238)U and ^(110)Ag^(m) were all below the MDA.^(228)Ra was found to be concentrated in Osteomugil ophuyseni with 19.7 Bq/(kg wet weight).Conclusions:The radioactivity levels of seawater and marine sediments in the Daya Bay sea area are within the range of the normal background *** ophuyseni exhibited higher concentrations of ^(228)Ra than other species in this study,while the other species in the biota show no significant difference in the radioactivity levels from

Artificial intelligence(AI)medical image analysis techniques based on deep learning and machine learning have developed rapidly in recent *** the diagnosis of skin diseases is mainly based on the morphology of lesions,dermatology is considered a promising area for AI image analysis *** 2017,scientists from Stanford University published a milestone paper in Nature to show the performance of AI was comparable to dermatologists in the classification and recognition of skin cancer,using convolutional neural network(CNN)models trained on nearly 130,000 clinical images[1].Since then,many countries have been actively developing similar *** far,the *** and Drug Administration has approved 3Drem,Google DeepMind,and *** China,Youzhi Pifu,Voxel-Cloud DermX,and Meitueve have entered the public *** public’s interest in AI roars,and the imagination of AI replacing dermatologists seems to be a reality in the foreseen future.
