Novel synthesis of stabilized Bi1-x-yGdxDyyO1.5 solid electrolytes with enhanced conductivity for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）

Herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi2O3solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy3+and Gd3+has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi2O3-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRD）,field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（FESEM-EDX）,thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis（TG/DTA）,and the four-point probe technique（4PPT）.XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi1-x-yGdxDyyO1.5（y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20） exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic（FCC） structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi0.90Gd0.05Dy0.05O1.5has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd2O3increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi2O3solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi0.75Gd0.20Dy0.05O1.5exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）.

Heterogeneous integration of 2D materials on Si charge-coupled devices as optical memory

Optical memory integrates the function of optical sensing in memory devices, remarkably promoting the interconnection between sensory and memory terminals. Silicon charge-coupled photodetectors and floating gate memory have been widely used in imaging and storage technologies, respectively. However,the heterogeneous integration of the two devices requires technological innovation and complex electrical connections. In this work, we adopt a three-dimensional layer stacking method to design a novel optical memory device. On the top of Si charge-coupled photodetectors, we successively deposit two-dimensional graphene,hexagonal boron nitride, and molybdenum disulfide as a floating gate layer, a tunneling layer, and a readout layer, respectively. By applying a gate bias on lightly doped Si, a deep depletion layer is formed with a high voltage potential drop. Under dark conditions, the depletion layer cannot be filled, and the electric field across the h-BN tunnel barrier is relatively small. Under light irradiation, the deep depletion layer is gradually filled, and the h-BN tunneling layer withstands the increasing electric field, resulting in charge storage in the floating gate layer. Based on this mechanism, the device exhibits a gate voltage-dependent operation mode, including an integrated optical sensing-memory mode and an electrically driven storage mode. Under moderate gate voltage, the device can effectively detect the optical information with varied intensity and store the optical information in the floating gate, displaying optically controlled memory characteristics. Our work demonstrates a compact device structure for optical memory and displays excellent optically controlled memory performance, which can be applied in artificial vision systems.

Recent research in mechanical properties of geopolymer-based ultrahigh-performance concrete:A review

Due to the growing need for sustainable and ultra-high-strength construction materials,scientists have created an innovative ultra-high-performance concrete called Geopolymer based ultra-highperformance concrete(GUHPC).Besides,in the last few decades,there have been a lot of explosions and ballistic attacks around the world,which have killed many civilians and fighters in border *** this context,this article reviews the fresh state and mechanical properties of ***,the ingredients of GUHPC and fresh properties such as setting time and flowability are briefly ***,the review of compressive strength,flexure strength,tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of fibrous ***,the blast and projectile impact resistance performance was ***,the microstructural characteristics were reviewed using the scanning electron microscope and X-ray Powder *** review outcome reveals that the mechanical properties were increased when 30%silica fume was added to a higher dose of steel fibre to improve the microstructure of *** is hypothesized that the brittleness of GUHPC was mitigated by adding 1.5%steel fibre reinforcement,which played a role in the decrease of contact explosion cratering and *** the need for cement in GUHPC was a key factor in the review,indicating a promising potential for lowering carbon ***,GUHPC research is still in its early stages,so more study is required before its full potential can be utilized.

Comparative analysis between single-train passing and double-train intersection in a tunnel

Aerodynamic pressure significantly impacts the scientific evaluation of tunnel service *** aerodynamic pressure of two trains running in a double-track tunnel is considerably more complicated than that of a single *** used the numerical method to investigate the difference in aerodynamic pressure between a single train and two trains running in a double-track ***,the numerical method was verified by comparing the results of numerical simulation and on-site ***,the characteristics of aerodynamic pressure were ***,the influence of various train-tunnel factors on the characteristics of aerodynamic pressure was *** results show that the aerodynamic pressure variation can be divided into stage I:irregular pressure fluctuations before the train tail leaves the tunnel exit,and stage II:periodic pressure declines after the train tail leaves the tunnel *** addition,the aerodynamic pressure simultaneously jumps positively or drops negatively for a single train or two trains running in double-track tunnel *** pressure amplitude in the two-train case is higher than that for a single *** maximum positive peak pressure difference(P_(STP))and maximum negative peak pressure difference(P_(STN))increase as train speed rises to the power from 2.256 to 2.930 in stage *** P_(STP) and P_(STN) first increase and then decrease with the increase of tunnel length in stage *** P_(STP) and P_(STN) increase as the blockage ratio rises to the power from 2.032 to 2.798 in stages I and II.

Phytosomes(phytophospholipid complex) are dosage forms that have recently been introduced to increase the stability and therapeutic effect of herbal medicine. Currently, bioactive herbs and the phytochemicals they contain are considered to be the best remedies for chronic diseases. One promising approach to increase the efficacy of plant-based therapies is to improve the stability and bioavailability of their bio-active ingredients. Phytosomes employ phospholipids as their active ingredients, and use their amphiphilic properties to solubilize and protect herbal extracts. The unique properties of phospholipids in drug delivery and their use in herbal medicines to improve bioavailability results in significantly enhanced health benefits. The introduction of phytosome nanotechnology can alter and revolutionize the current state of drug delivery. The goal of this review is to explain the application of phytosomes, their future prospects in drug delivery, and their advantages over conventional formulations.

Patterns and mechanisms of belowground carbon responses to changes in precipitation

It is well known that aboveground productivity usually increases with ***,how belowground carbon(C)processes respond to changes in precipitation remains elusive,although belowground net primary productivity(BNPP)represents more than one-half of NPP and soil stores the largest terrestrial C in the *** paper reviews the patterns of belowground C processes(BNPP and soil C)in response to changes in precipitation from transect studies,manipulative experiments,modeling and data integration and *** results suggest the possible existence of nonlinear patterns of BNPP and soil C in response to changes in precipitation,which is largely different from linear response for aboveground productivity.C allocation,root turnover time and species composition may be three key processes underlying mechanisms of the nonlinear responses to changes in precipitation for belowground C *** addition,microbial community structure and long-term ecosystem processes(*** assemblage,soil texture,aggregate stability)may also affect patterns of belowground C processes in response to changes in *** last,we discuss implications and future perspectives for potential nonlinear responses of belowground C processes to changes in precipitation.

Polypropylene(PP)mesh is commonly used in abdominal wall repair due to its ability to reduce the risk of organ damage,infections and other ***,the PP mesh often leads to adhesion formation and does not promote functional tissue *** this study,we synthesized one kind of aldehyde Bletilla striata polysaccharide(BSPA)modified chitosan(CS)hydrogel based on Schiff base *** hydrogel exhibited a porous network structure,a highly hydrophilic surface and good *** wrapped the PP mesh inside the hydrogel and evaluated the performance of the resulting composites in a bilateral 1×1.5cm abdominal wall defect model in *** results of gross observation,histological staining and immunohistochemical staining demonstrated the positive impact of the CS hydrogel on anti-adhesion and wound healing ***,the addition of BSPA to the CS hydrogel further improved the performance of the composites in vivo,promoting wound healing by enhancing collagen deposition and capillary *** study suggested that the BSPA-modified CS hydrogel significantly promoted the anti-adhesion,anti-inflammatory and pro-angiogenesis properties of PP meshes during the healing ***,this work offers a novel approach to the design of abdominal wall repair patches.

Traditional Meiyu-Baiu has been suspended by global warming

More than 1000 years, the Meiyu–Baiu have shaped the uniqueness of natural resources, civilization and culture in the Yangtze River Basin of China and the main islands of Japan. In recent decades, frequent rainstorms and droughts have seemingly diminished the misty features of traditional Meiyu–Baiu ***, there is still no consensus on whether their traditional nature is suspended. In this study, we quantitatively demonstrate that the Meiyu–Baiu almost completely lost their traditional features during 1961–2023, ～80% of which can be attributed to anthropogenic warming. Furthermore, in a warmer future,the traditional Meiyu–Baiu will be more unlikely to appear. This study underscores the urgency in adapting to climate shift because destructive extremes are measurably taking the place of mild and maternal rains.
