Echocardiographic Evaluation of Qiangxin Decoction Combined with Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

OBJECTIVE: To explore the echocardiographic evaluation of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) after Qiangxin Decoction combined with cardiac resynchronization therapy. METHODS: A total of 140 CHF patients admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into combined group (Qiangxin Decoction and cardiac resynchronization, n = 70) and routine group (cardiac resynchronization, n = 70), and they were treated for 2 courses (16 weeks), with 8 weeks as a course. The improvement of heart function classification (HYHA) was observed before and after treatment, and the therapeutic effects were evaluated according to the improvement of heart function classification (markedly effective, effective, invalid, and worsening). The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnostic criteria was the main symptoms (0 to 6 points), secondary symptoms (0 to 3 points), tongue picture (0 to 1 point) and pulse condition (0 to 1 point), and the higher the score was, the more obvious the symptoms were. The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and cardiac output (CO) were observed and recorded according to the heart color ultrasound before and after treatment. And the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ) was used to evaluate the life quality before and after treatment, and the highest score of the scale was 105 points. The higher the score was, the obvious the symptoms were, and the worse the life quality was. And the adverse reactions were recorded in the 2 groups. RESULTS: After the treatment, the total effective rate in the routine group was significantly lower than that in the combined group (75.71% vs . 94.30%), and there was statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Dear Editor,The cornea is the ocular structure most commonly affected by fungi. In general, fungal organisms infiltrate into cornea following ocular injuries, such as the vegetative trauma, leading to infectious fungal keratitis, which is characterized by epithelial defects, comeal edema and ulceration, satellite lesions in the surrounding cornea, and white fluffy hypopyon. Secondary attenuation of cell defense mechanisms ailer prolonged use of topical or systemic corticosteroid or immunosuppressive agents may also result in endogenous fungal infection.

Clinical Analysis of 240 Patients with HLA-B27 Associated Acute Anterior Uveitis

Purpose: To analyze the prevalence of HLA-B27 associated acute anterior uveitis and to identify its clinical features. Methods: A total of 240 patients with HLA-B27 associated acute anterior uveitis,who were admitted to Zhejiang ophthalmologic hospital between December 2006 and October 2012, were retrospectively *** age of onset,sex,affected eyes,HLA-B27 antigen detection,recurrence,joint involvement, and surgical complications were investigated. Results:The average age of onset was 37.0 ±12.0 years and the ratio of male to female patients was 2.4:1. Most cases had alternate unilateral or bilateral involvement. Among all participants, 234 cases (97.5%) were HLA-B27 positive, and 124 cases (51.7%) had spondyloarthropathies (SpA), dominated by 108 cases with ankylosing spondylitis. (AS,45.0%),and mostly seen in male subjects(P0.05).A total of 193 cases (80.4%) presented with complications, mainly fibrinous exudation, posterior synechia, and vitreous opacity. Conclusion: HLA-B27 that is associated acute anterior uveitis with a relatively high incidence and recurrence presents with more severe clinical features than does idiopathic acute anterior uveitis,and it often accompanies systemic arthritic diseases. HLA-B27 antibody detection is associated with the diagnosis and treatment of acute anterior uveitis.

BACKGROUND Liver interventional surgery is a relatively safe and minimally invasive ***,for patients who have undergone Whipple surgery,the probability of developing a liver abscess after liver interventional surgery is very *** liver abscess has a high mortality rate,especially when complicated with malignant tumors,diabetes,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)and other *** liver abscess is rare,and there are no guidelines or expert consensus on the course of antifungal *** SUMMARY A 54-year-old woman with pancreatic head cancer received albumin-bound paclitaxel in combination with gemcitabine chemotherapy after laparoscopic *** metastasis was found 1 mo after completion of 8 cycles of chemotherapy,followed by ablation of the liver *** half a month of liver metastasis ablation,the patient experienced fever after chemotherapy and was diagnosed with liver abscess complicated with COVID-19 by contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography and real-time polymerase chain reaction *** results of pus culture showed Candida albicans,which was sensitive to *** patient underwent percutaneous catheter drainage,antifungal therapy with fluconazole,and antiviral therapy with *** antifungal therapy,the patient showed a significant increase in liver enzyme levels and was discharged after liver protection *** fluconazole was continued for 1 wk outside the hospital,and fluconazole was used for a total of 5 *** patient recovered well and received 4 cycles of fluorouracil,leucovorin,oxaliplatin,and irinotecan after 2 mo of antifungal *** Effective treatment of Candida albicans liver abscess requires early detection,percutaneous catheter drainage,and 5 wk of antifungal ***,complications such as COVID-19 should be actively managed and nutritional support should be provided.

Correlation of serum ROBO4 and sB7-H4 contents with the pathological features of tumor in patients with ovarian cancer

Objective:To study the correlation of serum ROBO4 and soluble B7-H4 (sB7-H4) contents with the pathological features of tumor in patients with ovarian ***:The patients with ovarian cancer and the patients with ovarian benign tumor who underwent surgical resection in our hospital between March 2015 and August 2017 were selected, and the contents of ROBO4 and sB7-H4 in serum as well as the expression of ROBO4, B7-H4 and oncogenes in the lesion tissues were ***: ROBO4 content in serum of patients with ovarian cancer was significantly lower than that of patients with ovarian benign tumor whereas sB7-H4 content was significantly higher than that of patients with ovarian benign tumor, ROBO4 mRNA expression in ovarian cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in ovarian benign tumor tissues whereas B7-H4 mRNA expression was significantly higher than that in ovarian benign tumor tissues, and ROBO4 and sB7-H4 contents in serum of patients with ovarian cancer were positively correlated with ROBO4 and B7-H4 mRNA expression in ovarian cancer tissues;the higher the FIGO stage and pathological grade of the tumor is, the lower the ROBO4 content and the higher the sB7-H4 content in serum of patients with ovarian cancer will be;β-catenin, CyclinD1 and MMP9 mRNA expression in ovarian cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in ovarian benign tumor tissues, negatively correlated with ROBO4 and positively correlated with sB7-H4 whereas PTEN and E-cadherin mRNA expression were significantly lower than those in ovarian benign tumor tissues, positively correlated with ROBO4 and negatively correlated with ***: The changes of ROBO4 and sB7-H4 contents in serum of patients with ovarian cancer are closely related to the changes of clinicopathologic stage and the abnormal expression of oncogenes.

Visual Analysis of Epilepsy Diagnosis Based on Brain Functional Connections

Epilepsy is a transient neurological disorder associated with changes in the functional connections of the brain. Abnormal electrical discharges can be observed during an epileptic seizure. However, in the absence of an epileptic seizure, the anatomical structure of the brain and the electrical waves of the brain are not observed, making it difficult to explain the cause. This paper deals with together weighted imaging (DWI) sequence data in functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) of epileptic patients before seizure, using Anatomical Automatic Labeling (AAL) template extracted 116 brain regions and the introduction of time series, a matrix of 116 × 116. Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated to investigate the pathological condition of brain function in epilepsy patients, using of neural network visualization system of innovative visual display and compared with the normal epileptic brain function to connect the image, with 38 cases of epilepsy by 187 cases of normal DWI experiment data, and can confirm the existence of brain function in patients with epilepsy connections. Cerebral neural network visualization system showed partial functional connection loss between frontal lobe and temporal lobe in epileptic group compared with normal control group.

Correlation of AQPs family molecule expression with cell invasion and apoptosis in preeclampsia placenta

Objective: To study the correlation of aquaporins (AQPs) family molecule expression with cell invasion and apoptosis in preeclampsia placenta. Methods: The puerperae who were diagnosed with preeclampsia in Obstetrics Department of mianyang Central hospital between July 2014 and May 2017 were selected and divided into mild PE group and severe PE group according to the disease severity, and the healthy puerperae who received antenatal care and gave birth in mianyang Central hospital over the same period were selected as control group. The placenta was collected to determine the mRNA expression of AQPs family molecules, cell invasion molecules and apoptosis molecules. Results: AQP1, AQP3, AQP8, AQP9, TXNIP, NLRP3, Fas, HSP70 and Caspase-3 mRNA expression in placenta tissue of severe PE group and mild PE group were greatly higher than those of control group whereas LAMA4, GRP30, OPN, EMMPRIN, MMP2 and MMP9 mRNA expression were greatly lower than those of control group;AQP1, AQP3, AQP8, AQP9, TXNIP, NLRP3, Fas, HSP70 and Caspase-3 mRNA expression in placenta tissue of severe PE group were greatly higher than those of mild PE group whereas LAMA4, GRP30, OPN, EMMPRIN, MMP2 and MMP9 mRNA expression were greatly lower than those of mild PE group;AQP1, AQP3, AQP8 and AQP9 mRNA expression in placenta of PE were negatively correlated with LAMA4, GRP30, OPN, EMMPRIN, MMP2 and MMP9 mRNA expression, and positively correlated with TXNIP, NLRP3, Fas, HSP70 and Caspase-3 mRNA expression. Conclusion: Highly expressed AQP1, AQP3, AQP8 and AQP9 can inhibit the invasion of trophoblast cells and promote the apoptosis of trophoblast cells in the placenta of preeclampsia.

Correlation of serum HMGA1 levels in breast cancer lesion and serum with the pathological features of tumor

Objective:To study the correlation of serum HMGA1 levels in breast cancer lesion and serum with the pathological features of ***:The patients with breast cancer and those with benign breast tumor who were treated in mianyang Central hospital between August 2014 and October 2017 were selected as the malignant group and the benign group of the study respectively;serum was collected to determine HMGA1 level, and breast cancer lesions and benign tumor breast tumor lesions were collected to determine the level of HMGA1 as well as the expression of proliferation genes and invasion ***:HMGA1 level in breast cancer lesion and HMGA1 level in serum of malignant group were significantly higher than those of control group, and HMGA1 level in breast cancer lesion was positively correlated with HMGA1 level in serum;CCN5, MMRN2, TCEAL7 mRNA expression in breast cancer lesions of malignant group were significantly lower than those in breast tumor lesions of benign group, whereas HPK1 and Ki67, Sema4D, RhoA, Gab2, ARK5, SGK3 and MMP9 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those in breast tumor lesions of benign group;CCN5, MMRN2, TCEAL7 mRNA expression in breast cancer lesions of malignant group of patients with high HMGA1 level were significantly lower than those of malignant group of patients with low HMGA1 level, whereas HPK1 and Ki67, Sema4D, RhoA, Gab2, ARK5, SGK3 and MMP9 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those of malignant group of patients with low HMGA1 ***:HMGA1 levels abnormally increase in breast cancer lesion and serum;the abnormally elevated HMGA1 can assess the pathological features of tumor proliferation and invasion.
