Introduction: Dracaena cinnabari is considered a rich source of phytochemicals used widely in traditional medicine. In the present study, the effect of D. cinnabari hydraulic extract on the reproductive system of female rats was investigated. Methods: The samples were randomly divided into four groups(six samples in each group), including three treatment groups and one control group, and all samples were kept at the same conditions. Hydraulic extract of D. cinnabari and injected intraperitoneally daily for 10 days, while physiological serum was used for injection in to the control group. After 10 days of injection, estrogen and progesterone levels were measured by enzyme immunoassay technique. After dissection, the ovaries and uterine tissues were isolated for histological examination, and tissue changes were carefully examined. Results: The results revealed that the levels of estrogen and progesterone in experimental Groups 2 and 3 had a significant increase(P < 0.001). Regarding tissue changes, a significant increase was observed in epithelial thickness(P < 0.001), number of corpus luteum(P < 0.01), and Graafian follicle(P < 0.01) in doses of 100 and 150 mg/kg. Conclusions: Based on the results, it seems that D. cinnabari extract has an effect on the ovarian follicles.

A series of competitive metal-ion transport experiments has been performed. Each involved transport from an aqueous source phase across an organic membrane phase into an aqueous receiving phase. The source phase contained equimolar concentration of Co（II）, Ni（II）, Zn（II）, Cd（II）, Ag（I）, Cu（II） and Mn（II） metal cations. The transport experiments of metal cations were carried out by 2,21-dithio（bis）benzothiazole （DTB） in chloroform （CHCl3）. The source phase being buffered at range pH of 4-6.5 and receiving phase being buffered at pH 3. The obtained results show that the selectivity and the efficiency of AgO） transport from aqueous solutions are observed in this investigation. The effect of concentration of palmitic acid in the transport efficiency of Ag（I） ion was also conformed.

The selective bulk liquid membrane and polymer membrane transports of Ag（Ⅰ） from an aqueous solution containing seven metal cations,Co（Ⅱ）,Ni（Ⅱ）,Cu（Ⅱ）,Zn（Ⅱ）,Ag（Ⅰ）,Cd（Ⅱ） and Pb（Ⅱ）,was *** source phases contained equimolar concentrations of the above-mentioned cations,with the source and receiving phases being buffered at pH 5.0 and 3.0,respectively. Ag（Ⅰ） ion transport occurred with a good efficiency from the aqueous source phases across the bulk liquid membrane and polymer membrane（derived from cellulose triacetate） containing ligand 1 as the ionophores,into the aqueous receiving *** transport selectivity for Ag（Ⅰ） was observed using ligand *** was no selectivity for the cations using ligand 2 in the both bulk liquid membrane and polymer membrane transports.

In this study,Au nanoparticles/poly 5-[（2-hydroxynaphthalen-l-yl）diazenyl]isophthalic acid film modified glassy carbon electrode（AuNPs/poly（NDI）/GCE） has shown excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the oxidation of adrenaline（ADR）,paracetamol（PAC）,and tryptophan（Trp）.The bare glassy carbon electrode（GCE） fails to separate the oxidation peak potentials of these molecules,while the poly（NDI） film modified electrode can resolve *** impedance spectroscopy（EIS）indicates that the charge transfer resistance of the bare electrode decreases as 5-[（2-hydroxynaphthalen-l-yl）diazenyl]isophthalic acid is electropolymerized on the bare ***,EIS exhibits enhancement of electron transfer kinetics between analytes and the electrode after electrodeposition of Au *** pulse voltammetry results show that the electrocatalytic current increases linearly in the ranges of 0.01-680.0 μmol L^-1 for ADR,0.05-498.0 μmol L^-1 for PAC,and 3.0-632.0 μmol L^-1 for Trp;with detection limits（S/N = 3） of 0.009 μmol L^-1,0.005 μmol L^-1,and 0.09 μmol L^-1 for ADR,PAC,and Trp,*** proposed method has been successfully applied for simultaneous determination of ADR,PAC,and Trp in biological samples.

Benzimidazoles, benzoxazoles, and benzothiazoles derivatives were synthesized from condensation of aldehydes and 1,2-phenylenediamine or ortho-aminophenol or ortho-aminothiophenol in the presence of catalytic amount of Fe（Ⅲ）-Schiff base/SBA-15 in water medium. Short reaction times, good to excellent yields, easy availability, reusability, and use of an eco-friendly catalyst are some of the significant attributes of the present method.

Mono and bis-4-methylpiperidiniummethyl urea were synthesized,characterized and used as new corrosion inhibitors of mild steel in the acidic *** effect of two compounds on mild steel surface in the 1 mol·L^(–1 )sulphuric acid has been studied by a series of techniques,such as potentiodynamic polarization,weight loss and quantum chemical calculation *** polarization measurements showed that two inhibitors are mixed *** measurements showed that inhibition efficiencies enhanced with increase of inhibitor *** reveals that inhibitive actions of inhibitors were mainly due to adsorption on mild steel *** functional(DFT)calculations have been carried out for the title compounds by performing HF and DFT levels of theory using the standard 6-31G*basis set.

A novel and very simple colorimetric and fluorometric method for selectively sensing F^- was proposed based on 4-bromo-2,6- bis（hydroxymethyl）phenol（BBHMP）,which is a simple and available phenolic receptor the absence of any special chromophoric function and with over wide range of anions（Cl^-,Br^-,I^-,AcO^-,HSO4^-,NO3^- and BzO^-） in DMSO *** colorimetric method is described for naked-eye detection of F^- in the presence of the *** BBHMP was found to show selective and sensitive fluorescence quenching response toward fluoride over than Cl^-,Br^-,I^-,AcO^-,HSO4^-,NO3^- and BzO^-.

The fluorination reaction involving a β-ketosulfones by Selectfluor^TM was efficiently promoted by the ionic liquid, [Hbim]BF4 （IL） as a reaction medium with methanol as co-solvent at room temperature under ultrasonic irradiation to afford the corresponding mono and difluoro-β-ketosulfones in excellent yields. The advantages of this method include among others the use of a recyclable, non-volatile ionic liquid, which promotes this protocol under room temperature without the requirement of any added catalyst under ultrasonic irradiation.

New V-band CCD observations of variable star V2455 Cyg were performed during two nights in September 2017. According to all times of maximum light and new maxima, the O-C curve was *** period changes of V2455 Cyg were investigated and the rate of increasing period was obtained to be(1/P) d P/dt = 1.99 × 10^-7 yr-1. Frequency analysis indicated that V2455 Cyg pulsates with the radial p mode and the fundamental frequency is 10.61574 d-1. Physical parameters of V2455 Cyg at mean temperature were determined(e.g., R = 2.52 R⊙and M = 1.92 M⊙). The position of this star in the H-R diagram confirms that V2455 Cyg is a high amplitude δ Scuti star.
