Lane-change path planning and control method for self-driving articulated trucks

Purpose–This study aims to develop an automatic lane-change mechanism on highways for self-driving articulated trucks to improve trafﬁc ***/methodology/approach–The authors proposed a novel safety lane-change path planning and tracking control method for articulated vehicles.A double-Gaussian distribution was introduced to deduce the lane-change trajectories of tractor and trailer coupling characteristics of intelligent vehicles and *** different steering and braking maneuvers,minimum safe distances were modeled and *** safety and ergonomics,the authors invested multilevel self-driving modes that serve as the basis of decision-making for vehicle ***,a combined controller was designed by feedback linearization and single-point preview optimization to ensure the path tracking and robust *** hardware in the loop simulation platform was built to verify the effectiveness of the designed ***–The numerical simulation results demonstrated the path-planning model feasibility and controller-combined decision mechanism effectiveness to self-driving *** proposed trajectory model could provide safety lane-change path planning,and the designed controller could ensure good tracking and robust stability for the closed-loop nonlinear ***/value–This is a fundamental research of intelligent local path planning and automatic control for articulated *** are two main contributions:theﬁrst is a more quantiﬁable trajectory model for self-driving articulated vehicles,which provides the opportunity to adapt vehicle and scene *** second involves designing a feedback linearization controller,combined with a multi-objective decision-making mode,to improve the comprehensive performance of intelligent *** study provides a valuable reference to develop advanced driving assistant system and intelligent control systems for self-driving articulated vehicles.

People could potentially mitigate heat discomfort when outdoors by combining passive radiative cooling(PRC) strategies with personal thermal management techniques. However, most current PRC materials lack wearing comfort and durability. In this study, a microarray technique is applied to fabricate the tailoring photonic-engineered textiles with intriguing PRC capability and appealing wearability. The developed radiative cooling textiles(RCTs) demonstrate appropriate air–moisture permeability, structural stability, and extended spectroscopic response with high sunlight reflectivity(91.7%) and robust heat emissivity(95.8%) through the atmospheric transparent spectral window(ATSW). In a hot outdoor cooling test, a skin simulator covered by the RCTs displays a temperature drop of approximately 4.4 °C at noon compared with cotton textiles. The evolution of our mimetic structures may provide new insights into the generation of wearable, thermal–wet comfortable, and robust textiles for exploring PRC techniques in personal thermal management applications.

Most studies focus on the adaptive immune cells in the GVHD pathogenesis,while little is known about innate immune cells in GVHD occurrence and development,especially ***,a higher incidence of graft versus host disease(GVHD)is also found in the elderly *** advances have been made in the modification of macrophages influenced by the inflamm-ageing,there is still no review on the role of macrophages in GVHD and the association between GVHD and the altered macrophages by *** this review,we focus on the potential age-related modifications of macrophage in GVHD,which contributes to the change of morbidity and mortality of *** literature review,we found that the infiltration of macrophages is associated with GVHD and macrophages are modified in inflamm-ageing state,including the proliferation,migration,phagocytosis,antigen presentation,interaction with other immune cells,and *** suppose that altered macrophage functions in inflamm-ageing state contribute to GVHD in elderly patients.

The Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST)started a medianresolution spectroscopic(MRS,R~7500)survey since October *** main scientific goals of MRS,including binary stars,pulsators and other variable stars,were launched with a time-domain spectroscopic ***,the systematic errors,including the bias induced from wavelength calibration and the systematic difference between different spectrographs,have to be carefully considered during radial velocity *** this work,we provide a technique to correct the systematics in the wavelength calibration based on the relative radial velocity measurements from LAMOST MRS *** show that,for the stars with multi-epoch spectra,the systematic bias which is induced from the exposures on different nights can be corrected well for LAMOST MRS in each *** addition,the precision of radial velocity zero-point of multi-epoch time-domain observations reaches below 0.5 km s^(-1).As a by-product,we also give the constant star candidates^(**),which can be the secondary radial-velocity standard star candidates of LAMOST MRS time-domain surveys.
