In this paper, we study the optimal investment strategy of defined-contribution pension with the stochastic salary. The investor is allowed to invest in a risk-free asset and a risky asset whose price process follows a constant elasticity of variance model. The stochastic salary follows a stochastic differential equation, whose instantaneous volatility changes with the risky asset price all the time. The HJB equation associated with the optimal investment problem is established, and the explicit solution of the corresponding optimization problem for the CARA utility function is obtained by applying power transform and variable change technique. Finally, we present a numerical analysis.

Enterprise architecture (EA) efforts focus on business, technology, data, and application architecture, and their integration. However, less attention has been given to one of the most critical EA elements, i.e., users (EA audiences). As a result, existing EA management systems (EAMS) have become old, large, content-centric document-repositories that are unable to provide meaningful information of use to the enterprise users and aligned with their needs and functional scope. We argue that a semantic technology based mechanism focusing on enterprise information and user-centricity has the potential to solve this problem. In this context, we present a novel ontology-based strategy named the user-centric semantics-oriented EA (U-SEA) model. Based on this model, we have developed a user-centric semantics-oriented enterprise architecture management (U-SEAM) system. Our approach is generic enough to be used in a wide variety of user-centric EAM applications. The results obtained show computational feasibility to integrate and govern enterprise information and to reduce complexity with respect to interoperability between enterprise information and users.

Scheduling plays an important role in many different service industries. In this paper we provide an overview of some of the more important scheduling problems that appear in the various service industries. We focus on the formulations of such problems as well as on the techniques used for solving those problems. We consider five areas of scheduling in service industries, namely （i） project scheduling, （ii） workforce scheduling, （iii） timetabling, reservations, and appointments, （iv） transportation scheduling, and （v） scheduling in entertainment. The first two areas are fairly general and have applications in many different service industries. The third, fourth and fifth areas are more related to some very specific service industries, namely the hospitality and health care industries, the transportation industries （of passengers as well as of cargo）, and the entertainment industries. In our conclusion section we discuss the similarities and the differences between the problem formulations and solution techniques used in the various different industries and we also discuss the design of the decision support systems that have been developed for scheduling in the service industries.

The problem of measuring conflict in large-group decision making is examined with every decision preference expressed by multiple interval intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers （IITFNs）. First, a distance measurement between two IITFNs is given and a function of conflict between two members of the large group is proposed. Second, members of the large group are clustered. A measurement model of group conflict, which is applied to aggregating large-group preferences, is then proposed by employing the conflict measure of clusters. Finally, a simulation example is presented to validate the models. These models can deal with the preference analysis and coordination of a large-group decision, and are thus applicable to emergency group decision making.

The world post-9/11 is characterised by uncertainty, fear and suspicion. Psychological confrontations amplified by the mass media have even come to dominate physical engagements between warring parties. Drama theory provides a powerful framework for understanding these interactions in much the way that game theory was able to support strategy making by autonomous players in a less inter-connected era, A model of the ＇normal＇ process leading to dramatic resolution is an essential feature of the drama theory approach and is described here. However this process can be derailed or fail in many ways. This paper reviews many of these systemic pathologies and illustrates some Of them through consideration of three high-profile cases. The conclusion is that it is important to recognise and possibly to use pathological behavior as an element of a character＇s interaction strategy.

S-curve networks and an approximate method for estimating degree distributions of complex networks

In the study of complex networks almost all theoretical models have the property of infinite growth, but the size of actual networks is finite. According to statistics from the China Internet IPv4 （Internet Protocol version 4） addresses, this paper proposes a forecasting model by using S curve （logistic curve）. The growing trend of IPv4 addresses in China is forecasted. There are some reference values for optimizing the distribution of IPv4 address resource and the development of IPv6. Based on the laws of IPv4 growth, that is, the bulk growth and the finitely growing limit, it proposes a finite network model with a bulk growth. The model is said to be an S-curve network. Analysis demonstrates that the analytic method based on uniform distributions （i.e., Barabasi-Albert method） is not suitable for the network. It develops an approximate method to predict the growth dynamics of the individual nodes, and uses this to calculate analytically the degree distribution and the scaling exponents. The analytical result agrees with the simulation well, obeying an approximately power-law form. This method can overcome a shortcoming of Barabasi-Albert method commonly used in current network research.

Co-evolution of the brand effect and competitiveness in evolving networks

The principle that ＇the brand effect is attractive＇ underlies the preferential attachment. Here we show that the brand effect is just one dimension of attractiveness. Another dimension is competitiveness. We firstly introduce a general frame- work that allows us to investigate the competitive aspect of real networks, instead of simply preferring popular nodes. Our model accurately describes the evolution of social and technological networks. The phenomenon that more competitive nodes become richer can help us to understand the evolution of many competitive systems in nature and society. In general, the paper provides an explicit analytical expression of degree distributions of the network. In particular, the model yields a nontrivial time evolution of nodes＇ properties and the scale-free behavior with exponents depending on the microscopic parameters characterizing the competition rules. Secondly, through theoretical analyses and numerical simulations, we reveal that our model has not only the universality for the homogeneous weighted network, but also the character for the heterogeneous weighted network. Thirdly, we also develop a model based on the profit-driven mechanism. It can better describe the observed phenomenon in enterprise cooperation networks. We show that the standard preferential attachment, the growing random graph, the initial attractiveness model, the fitness model, and weighted networks can all be seen as degenerate cases of our model.

The paper proposes a model which helps to investigate the competitive aspect of real networks in quantitative terms. Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulations, it shows that the competitive model has the universality for a weighted network. The relation between parameters in the weighted network and the competitiveness in the competitive network is obtained by theoretical analysis. Based on the expression of the degree distribution of the competitive network, the strength and degree distributions of the weighted network can be calculated. The analytical solution reveals that the degree distribution of the weighted network is correlated with the increment and initial value of edge weights, which is verified by numerical simulations. Moreover, the evolving pattern of a clustering coefficient along with network parameters such as the size of a network, an updating coefficient, an initial weight and the competitiveness are obtained by further simulations.
