Ce-and La-doped polymetallic layered double hydroxides for enhanced oxygen evolution reaction performance at high current density

Polymetallic layered double hydroxides are promising cost-effective catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OEr) due to their versatile anionic and cationic tunability. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, notably, issues related to low electrical conductivity, poor catalytic activity, and stability, especially at high current density. Herein, we report the design of Ce-and Ladoped Co Ni Fe-layered double hydroxide(Ce La Co Ni Fe-LdH) nanosheets through a facile and scalable in situ self-assembly strategy that displays enhanced OEr activity. Experimental and theoretical investigations provide insights into the impact of Ceand La-doping by comparing Ce Co Ni Fe-LdH, La Co Ni Fe-LdH, and pristine Co Ni Fe-LdH, all synthesized using the same methodology. These results reveal that doping Ce^(3+)and La^(3+)into Co Ni Fe-LdH substantially improves its electronic structure,resulting in enhanced conductivity, more oxygen vacancies(Vo), electron interaction, and active site formation. Consequently,significantly reduced overpotentials of 175, 314, and 424 m V at 10, 100, and 500 m A cm^(-2), respectively, and a highly stable current density of 120 h in 1 M KOH were achieved. Notably, these performance metrics surpass those of unmodified LdHs and are competitive with many lanthanide-doped transition metal-based LdH electrocatalysts, as well as noble metal catalysts like ruthenium catalysts. This work represents a pioneering effort in doping Ce^(3+)and La^(3+)ions into a functional Co Ni Fe-based electrocatalyst, offering inspiring OEr performance and scalability potential.

Infrared detection technology has the advantages of all-weather detection and good concealment,which is widely used in long-distance target detection and tracking ***,the complex background,the strong noise,and the characteristics of small scale and weak intensity of targets bring great difficulties to the detection of infrared small targets.A multi-channel based on attention network is proposed in this paper,aimed at the problem of high missed detection rate and false alarm rate of traditional algorithms and the problem of large model,high complexity and poor detection performance of deep learning ***,given the difficulty in extracting the features of infrared multiscale and small dim targets,the multiple channels are designed based on dilated convolution to capture multiscale target ***,the coordinate attention block is incorporated in each channel to suppress background clutters adaptively and enhance target *** addition,the fusion of shallow detail features and deep abstract semantic features is realized by synthesizing the contextual attention fusion ***,it is verified that,compared with other state-of-the-art methods based on the datasets SIrST and MdFA,the proposed algorithm further improves the detection effect,and the model size and computational complexity are smaller.

Efficient recovery of tungsten from scheelite concentrates using a sulfur-phosphorus mixed acid leaching system

In recent years,a new process for leaching scheelite concentrates with sulfur-phosphorus mixed acid has been successfully *** process suffers from the elimination of the retarding effect of calcium sulfate,the selective extraction of tungsten from the H3PW12O40-H2SO4-H3PO4mixture solution,and the removal of introduced ***,in this paper,we investigated the inhibition measures of a calcium sulfate-blocking membrane,the selective extraction of tungsten by ion exchange,and the removal of phosphorus by the magnesium ammonium salt *** results showed that the addition of calcium sulfate whisker seeds and a higher H3PO4concentration inhibited spontaneous diffuse nucleation,promoted crystal growth,and avoided the formation of a dense blocking *** 98 wt.% of the scheelite concentrate was digested by *** selective adsorption of PW12O403-was realized using d301 resin,and the extraction efficiency of tungsten exceeded 99.9%.After desorption with ammonia water,PW12O403-was depolymerized into WO42-and PO43-.99.9 wt.% of phosphorus was removed in the form of MgNH4PO4by the magnesium ammonium salt method,and the residual phosphorus concentration in the solution was lower than 10 mg·*** purification,the highest-grade ammonium paratungstate product was prepared by evaporative crystallization.

The prevalence of obesity has increased and is a health concern *** to the concerns regarding synthetic anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural products become a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effect of crude polysaccharide of amyloglucosidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum thunbergii(STAC)and its fucoidan fractions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet(HFd)-induced obese mice were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose content and exhibited significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation by downregulating adipogenic and lipogenic proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAC significantly declined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid contents in an HFd-induced obesity mouse *** and chemical characterizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has consistent surface morphology and small particle size,with similar structural characteristics as commercial ***,these results indicate that STAC and purified STAF3 from Sargassum thunbergia is a potent source to develop as ananti-obesity agents or functional food products to counter obesity.
