Analyses on Temporal and Spatial Variation Characteristics of Erosion and Deposition in the Front Edge of Salt Marsh Wetland

Taking Yancheng Nature Reserve Salt Marsh as the research object,the remote sensing images from 2005 to 2020 were interpreted by using remote sensing and geographic information system *** this paper,the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of erosion and deposition in the front edge of salt marsh wetland were *** influence of sea level rise on the annual change of salt marsh area was *** characteristics of flow and sediment movement in salt marsh and the causes of erosion and deposition in front of salt marsh were *** results showed that:(1)During 2005-2007,the sea level was relatively low,and Spartina alterniflora in salt marsh expanded to the *** 2007,the front edge of salt marsh wetland has coexisted with erosion and *** 2008 to 2010,the front edge of salt marsh wetland once again showed a trend of comprehensive deposition to the sea *** 2010 to 2012,the erosion of salt marsh wetland was *** 2012 to 2020,the front edge of salt marsh wetland in the range of 9 km south of Xinyang estuary was eroded.(2)The correlation analysis was carried out between the area of salt marsh wetland and sea level *** alterniflora is easily affected by sea level change,owing to it having a low ecological *** the rise of sea level,the area of salt marsh has been decreasing since 2013.(3)In the front sea area of salt marsh wetland,the maximum velocity of the ebb and flood can reach the threshold velocity during the spring *** sediment starts to move at water depth of 10 m under wave *** to wave stirs up sediment and current transports the sediment,resuspended sediment causes the erosion of marsh-edge scarps.

We previously reported that postsynaptic density-93 mediates neuron-microglia crosstalk by interacting with amino acids 357–395 of C-X3-C motif chemokine ligand 1(CX3 CL1) to induce microglia polarization. More importantly, the peptide Tat-CX3 CL1(comprising amino acids 357–395 of CX3 CL1) disrupts the interaction between postsynaptic density-93 and CX3 CL1, reducing neurological impairment and exerting a protective effect in the context of acute ischemic stroke. However, the mechanism underlying these effects remains unclear. In the current study, we found that the pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype increased and the anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype decreased at different time points. The M1 phenotype increased at 6 hours after stroke and peaked at 24 hours after perfusion, whereas the M2 phenotype decreased at 6 and 24 hours following reperfusion. We found that the peptide Tat-CX3 CL1(357–395 aa) facilitates microglial polarization from M1 to M2 by reducing the production of soluble CX3 CL1. Furthermore, the a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain 17(ADAM17) inhibitor GW280264 x, which inhibits metalloprotease activity and prevents CX3 CL1 from being sheared into its soluble form, facilitated microglial polarization from M1 to M2 by inhibiting soluble CX3 CL1 formation. Additionally, Tat-CX3 CL1(357–395 aa) attenuated long-term cognitive deficits and improved white matter integrity as determined by the Morris water maze test at 31–34 days following surgery and immunofluorescence staining at 35 days after stroke, respectively. In conclusion, Tat-CX3 CL1(357–395 aa) facilitates functional recovery after ischemic stroke by promoting microglial polarization from M1 to M2. Therefore, the Tat-CX3 CL1(357–395 aa) is a potential therapeutic agent for ischemic stroke.

With the development of industrialization and aquaculture in Jiangsu and Shandong Provinces along the South Yellow Sea coast,China,eutrophication has greatly intensified in the region,resulting in frequent occurrence of diverse harmful algal *** algal bloom formed by a chain-forming dinofl agellate species was recorded in the Haizhou Bay,South Yellow Sea,in September *** causative species was isolated and studied in morphology,molecular phylogeny,pigment profile,presence of paralytic shellfish toxins,and acute *** loop-shaped apical groove running anticlockwise around the apex,the presence of peridinin as characteristic pigment,as well as a single phylogenic clade of 28S ribosomal DNA(100%posterior probability),defined this species as Gymnodinium impudicum,a non-toxic species that exhibited no obvious biotoxicity to the rotifer Brachionus plicatilis,the copepod Artemia salina,and the shrimp Neomysis *** impudicum is typically distributed in coastal waters with high nitrate concentrations,where it reaches a maximum density of 2.6×10~5 cells/*** is the first report of a *** bloom in the Yellow Sea;however,*** blooms may have been misidentified or underreported in Haizhou Bay due to the species morphological similarity with ***.A combination of multiple methods is recommended to accurately identify new algal bloom species.

Comparative Research on Sino-US Agricultural Innovation Model in Science and Technology

This research was conducted to provide a comparative analysis of China's and US's agricultural innovation in science and technology and offer some guidance on the construction of agricultural innovation system in science and technology in China. The countermeasures are proposed with a hope to shorten China's and US's gap of agricultural innovation in science and technology by analyzing agricultural innovation model features in science and technology of the United States. The advantages of United States model of agricultural innovation in science and technology include sound legal framework safeguard, complete scientific and technological innovation system, high quality and talented personnel, sufficient technical development and extension funding, and extensive applications of modern agricultural high-tech. There is a gap in agricultural innovation between China and the United States. Agriculture innovation in science and technology in China should improve in several aspects such as agricultural legislation, construction of sound agricultural innovation system in science and technology, building first-class agricultural innovation and extension teams, establishing diversified channels for investment, and improving the applications of high technology in agriculture.

Factor value determination and applicability evaluation of universal soil loss equation in granite gneiss region

Six types of runoff plots were set up and an experimental study was carried out to examine natural rate of soil and water loss in the granite gneiss region of northern Jiangsu Province in China. Through correlation analysis of runoff and soil loss during 364 rainfall events, a simplified and convenient mathematical formula suitable for calculating the rainfall erosivity factor （R） for the local region was established. Other factors of the universal soil loss equation （USLE model） were also determined. Relative error analysis of the soil loss of various plots calculated by the USLE model on the basis of the observed values showed that the relative error ranged from -3.5% to 9.9% and the confidence level was more than 90%. In addition, the relative error was 5.64% for the terraced field and 12.36% for the sloping field in the practical application. Thus, the confidence level was above 87.64%. These results provide a scientific basis for forecasting and monitoring soil and water loss, for comprehensive management of small watersheds, and for soil and water conservation planning in the region.

The synthesis of serine in rice is intangible, and little kinetic and structural information is available for most enzymes in the pathway. In this study, we carried out a comprehensive characteristic and phylogenetic analysis of three 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase（PGDH） members in rice, as well as an analysis of their whole-life expression patterns. All of the OsPGDHs have three highly conserved motifs. The three genes were detected in all tissues and development stages in Nipponbare by qRT-PCR. Under abiotic stresses, such as salt（150 mM NaCl）, drought（20% PEG 4000 simulation）, oxidation（10 mM H2O2） and low temperature（4±1 ℃）, the expressions of all OsPGDHs are significantly different. These investigations improve our understanding of the importance of the OsPGDH family and provide useful information about the phosphorylated serine biosynthesis pathway in rice.

All-inorganic and earth-abundant bi-/trimetallic hydr(oxy)oxides are widely used as oxygen evolution electrocatalysts owing to their remarkable ***,their atomically precise structures remain undefined,complicating their optimization and limiting the understanding of their enhanced ***,the underlying structure-property correlation is explored by using a well-defined cobalt-phosphate polyoxometalate cluster [{(Co4)(OH)3(PO4)}4(SiW9 O34)4]^32-(1),which may serve as a molecular model of multimetal hydr(oxy)*** catalytic activity is enhanced upon replacing Co by Fe in 1,resulting in a reduced overpotential(385 mV) for oxygen evolution(by 66 mV) compared to that of the parent 1 at 10 mA cm^-2 in an acidic medium;this overpotential is comparable to that for the IrO2 catalyst These abundant-metal-based polyoxometalates exhibit high stability,with no evidence of degradation even after 24 h of operation.

Smart manufacturing still remains critical challenges for pharmaceutical ***,an original data-driven engineering framework was proposed to tackle the ***,from sporadic indicators to five kinds of systematic quality characteristics,nearly 2,000,000 real-world data points were successively characterized from Ginkgo Folium tablet ***,from simplex to the multivariate system,the digital process capability diagnosis strategy was proposed by multivariate C_(pk)integrated *** C_(pk)of Ginkgo Folium extracts,granules,and tablets were discovered,which was 0.59,0.42,and 0.78,respectively,indicating a relatively weak process capability,especially in ***,the quality traceability was discovered from unit to end-to-end analysis,which decreased from 2.17 to *** further proved that attention should be paid to granulating to improve the quality *** conclusion,this paper provided a data-driven engineering strategy empowering industrial innovation to face the challenge of smart pharmaceutical manufacturing.
