The reaction of triphenylstannyl-bis(3,5-dimethyl-4-ethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane with W(CO)5THF yields the title compound (C37.5H39.5N4O3SnW, Mr = 896.79) which is of triclinic, space group P with a = 9.755(3), b = 13.696(4), c = 14.359(5) , a = 96.202(7), b = 93.313(6), g = 94.845(6)o, V = 1896(1) 3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.571 g/cm3, l(MoKa) = 0.71073 , m = 3.728 mm-1, F(000) = 881, R = 0.0491 and wR = 0.0856 for 4242 observed reflections (I≥2s(I)). The crystal structural analysis indicates that bis(3,5-dimethyl-4-ethylpyrazol-1-yl)methide acts as a tridentate monoanionic k3-[N,C,N] chelating ligand, and four-membered metallacycles are found in this heterodinuclear complex.

The onset of the Ebola outbreak in 2014 originated in Guinea and proceeded to swiftly reach Sierra Leone and Liberia(1).Unfortunately,these nations were critically deficient in their capacity for pathogenic testing and diagnostics,the availability of healthcare workers,and their supply of epidemic prevention materials,thereby impeding their ability to address the outbreak efficiently(2).This grave scenario underscored the need for support from the worldwide community.

A new method for the enrichment of Strychnos alkaloids in biological samples via liquid-phase microextxaodon （LPME） based on porous polypropylene hollow fibers in combination with on-line sweeping in micellar electrokinodc chromatography was developed. The calibration curve was linear over the range of 20-200 ng mL^-1 for both strychnine and brucine in human urine sample. The detection limits （S/N = 3：1） for strychnine and brucine were 1 ng mL^-1 and 2 ng mL^-1, respectively. The LPME-sweeping method has been successfully applied to the analysis of strychnine and brucine in real urine samples.

The most recent new emerging infection is the H5N6 inl uenza virus infection. This infection has just been reported from China in early May 2014. The disease is believed to be a cross species infection. All indexed cases are from China. Of interest, the H5N6 inl uenza virus is the primary virus for avian. The avian H5N6 inl uenza virus in avian population is a low virulent strain. However, the clinical manifestation in human seems severe. In this mini-review, the authors summarize and discuss on this new emerging inl uenza.

The non-governmental organisations Plan China and Yunnan Environmental Development Institute(YEDI) implemented sustainable and ecological sanitation (ecosan) to improve existing and not satisfying sanitation conditions in the Chinese provinces of Shaanxi and *** technical solutions like urine-diverting dehydration toilets(UDDTs),biogas-toilets,as well as double-urn toilets prove feasible without high-cost public sewerage and wastewater *** different systems close the loop of nutrients and provide the possibility to use human excreta as fertiliser in agriculture or to produce biogas for *** whatever its level of technical excellence,the user proved to be the decisive factor for success or failure of the project in the *** the project sites,the authors examined why not every built toilet is still being used and why not every user is *** learned that not every user knows how to use it adequately and that it takes a long time to change people's habits,especially if one's privacy is *** order to achieve a high success rate with the improved means of sanitation among the population,they recommend to keep up training activities,supervise the users and to be available for advice over a long *** experiences of the two visited projects show that it is very important to start working with young children in order to change the habits of the next generations as early as *** school sanitation projects in Shaanxi and Yunnan confirm this assumption.

Citrate (Ct) was chosen as a typical chelator used in the Fe^(2+)-peroxydisulfate (PDS) process to improve sludge *** PDS-Fe^(2+)-Ct process exhibited better performance in sludge dewatering than PDS-Fe^(2+).Specifically,with a PDS dosage of 1.2 mmol/g VS,the molar ratio of PDS/Fe^(2+)and Ct/Fe^(2+)were 4:5 and 1:4,respectively,the capillary suction time decreased from 155.8 to 24.8sec,and the sludge cake water content decreased from 82.62%to 64.11%(-0.06MPa).The oxidation led to a reduced negative charge and a decrease in particle *** enhanced sludge dewaterability and changes of sludge properties were attributed to the decomposition of extracellular polymeric substances,and it was explored by protein,polysaccharide,3D-EEMs,and ***,the quenching experiments of radical species demonstrated that SO_(4)-·played a more important role than·OH,and its productivity was improved with the addition of ***,the reasons for the improved productivity of radicals with the addition of Ct were *** results of this study could serve as a basis for improving sludge dewatering using the PDS-Fe^(2+)-Ct process and suggest that the addition of Ct may improve the productivity of SO_(4)-·in the activation o PDS via Fe^(2+).

The feasibility of using anaerobic baffled reactor （ABR） as onsite wastewater treatment system was discussed. The ABR consisted of one sedimentation chamber and three up-flow chambers in series was experimented under different peak flow factors （PFF of 1 to 6）, superficial gas velocities （between 0.6 and 3.1 cm/hr） and hydraulic retention times （HRT）（24, 36 and 48 hr）. Residence time distribution （RTD） analyses were carded out to investigate the hydraulic characteristics of the ABR. It was found that the PFF resulted in hydraulic dead space. The dead space did not exceed 13% at PFF of 1, 2 and 4 while there was 2-fold increase （26%） at PFF of 6. Superficial gas velocities did not result in more （biological） dead space. The mixing pattern of ABR tended to be a completely- mixed reactor when PFF increased. Superficial gas velocities did not affect mixing pattern. The effects of PFF on mixing pattern could be minimized by higher HRT （48 hr）. The tank-in-series （TIS） model （N = 4） was suitable to describe the hydraulic behaviour of the studied system. The HRT of 48 hr was able to maintain the mixing pattern under different flow patterns, introducing satisfactory hydraulic efficiency. Chemical oxygen demand （COD） and total suspended solids （TSS） removals under all flow patterns were achieved more than 85% and 90%, respectively. The standard deviation of effluent COD and TSS concentration did not exceed 15 mg/L.

This study aimed to analyze the environmental factors related to health vulnerability in the municipality of Sèmè-Podji. For this study, 216 households were surveyed using questionnaires. Twelve key informants were enrolled for depth interviews and 18 water samples were collected from different sources used by the populations. It came out of our investigations that water from traditional sources used at Sèmè-Podji was contaminated by various microorganisms such as Escherichia coli and fecal coliforms. 66.38% of households reject domestic waste and 47.41% of them evacuate sewage in the yard. In addition, 93.05% drop stagnant water for natural infiltration. This municipality faces lack of sanitation. The main health problems experienced by people were malaria (46.35%), diarrheal diseases (15.88%). The study stated some results which could improve the help about health management in the area.
