Embryonic neurogenesis is the process of generating neurons,the functional units of the *** of its sensitivity to adverse intrauterine environment such as infection,dysregulation of this process has emerged as a key mechanism underlying many neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders（ASD）.Adult neurogenesis,although is restricted to a few neurogenic niches,plays pivotal roles in brain plasticity and *** evidence suggests that impairments in adult neurogenesis are involved in major neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer＇s disease.A hallmark feature of these brain disorders is neuroinflammation,which can either promote or inhibit neurogenesis depending upon the context of brain *** this review paper,we present evidence from both experimental and human studies to show a complex picture of relationship between these two events,and discussed potential factors contributing to different or even opposing actions of neuroinflammation on neurogenesis in neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders.

The oxalate co-precipitation method was used to synthesize the La3+substituted Ni-Cu-Zn(La-NCZ)nanoferrites having chemical composition Ni_(0.7)Cu_(0.1)Zn_(0.2)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.015,0.025 and 0.035).DC resistivity study of nanoferrites shows both the conducting and semiconducting *** room temperature DC electrical resistivity of Ni-Cu-Zn(NCZ)nanoferrites decreases,whereas Curie temperature increases with increasing La^(3+)*** the temperature range of 30-170℃nanoferrites show p-type semiconducting behavior except x=0.015;thereafter,they show n-type *** frequency dispersive initial permeability(μi)associated with its real and imaginary(μ’andμ")parts are attributed to the domain wall movement and magnetic spin ***μi,u’andμ"of La-NCZ nanoferrites are higher than those of pure NCZ *** constant(ε’),dielectric loss(ε")and AC resistivity(ρAC)of La-NCZ nanoferrites show normal dielectric *** is found thatε’of NCZ nanoferrites decreases with the increasing content of La3+*** bandgap energy of La-NCZ nanoferrites is achieved in the range 1.36-1.70 eV confirming the semiconducting nature of materials.

A new thermodynamic model for gas hydrates was established by combining the modified Patel-Teja equation of state proposed for aqueous electrolyte systems and the simplified Holder -John multi -shell hydrate model. The new hydrate model is capable of predicting the hydrate formation/dissociation conditions of natural gas systems containing pure water/formation water (brine) and polar inhibitor without using activity coefficient model. Extensive test results indicate very encouraging results.

Porcelain insulators have a long history and wide application range in power systems,but just like any other insulator,they can fail.A number of pole fires occurred on lines utilising porcelain suspension *** some cases,the insulators appeared to be visually intact with no external signs of degradation or abnormal *** prompted a comprehensive assessment to identify the mechanism that leads to the permanent loss of insulating properties while retaining external physical characteristics.A single test is not sufficient to determine the underlying cause of conduction as results may produce contradictory *** tests were able to identify samples with poor dielectric ***,these same samples exhibited excellent mechanical *** successfully passing numerous porosity tests,scanning electron microscopic analysis revealed porosity and multiple microscopic punctures in the porcelain *** upon complete dissection of samples,the conduction mechanism was *** article discusses the challenges associated with establishing the root failure mechanism for the investigated porcelain insulators that allows visually sound samples to lose their insulating properties without experiencing catastrophic failure.

Titanium dioxide nanoparticles （TiO2 NPs） are among the most widely manufactured nanomaterials on a global scale. However, prudent and vigilant surveillance, incumbent upon the scientific community with the advent of new technologies, has revealed potentially undesirable effects of TiO2 NPs on biological systems and the natural environment during their application and discharge. Such effects are likely best evaluated by first assessing the fate of the TiO2 NPs in natural environments. In this study, the effects of terrestrial humic acid （HA） and tannic acid （TA）, two major members of the collective： dissolved organic matter （DOM）, on the cytotoxicity of TiO2 NPs to Escherichia coli were investigated in the presence and absence of natural sunlight. Qualitative （transmission electron microscopy （TEM）） and quantitative （LCso） analyses were employed in this study. In addition, the production of reactive oxygen species （ROS） in the form of .OH was further assessed-as HA or TA increased the production of ROS decreased. The inhibition of bacterial viability in the light treatment groups, with respective treatment organics at concentrations of 10 ppm, was less in TA than in terrestrial HA. SAS was used to analyze the treatment effect of individual factors of light irradiation, DOM, and concentration of TiO2 NPs.
