In this study,the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity of samples are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously *** contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity are modeled by several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed model's accuracy is verified through numerous experimental *** further validate the models and establish correlations between parameters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity are ***,the contact resistance is primarily dependent on the polymer tunnel resistivity,contact area,and tunneling *** dimensions of the graphene nanosheets significantly influence the conductivity,which ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/*** increased number of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposite's ***,the thicker interphase and smaller tunneling size can lead to higher sample conductivity due to their optimistic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.

Ischemic stroke and ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury induced by thrombolytic therapy are conditions with high mortality and serious long-term physical and cognitive disabilities. They have a major impact on global public health. These disorders are associated with multiple insults to the cerebral microcirculation, including reactive oxygen species (ROS) overproduction, leukocyte adhesion and infiltration, brain blood barrier (BBB) disruption, and capillary hypoperfusion, ultimately resulting in tissue edema, hemorrhage, brain injury and delayed neuron damage. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been used in China, korea, Japan and other Asian countries for treatment of a wide range of diseases. In China, the usage of compound TCM preparation to treat cerebrovascular diseases dates back to the Han Dynasty. Even thousands of years earlier, the medical formulary recorded many classical prescriptions for treating cerebral I/R-related diseases. This review summarizes current information and underlying mechanisms regarding the ameliorating effects of compound Tem preparation, Chinese materia medica, and active components on I/R-induced cerebral imicrocirculatory disturbances, brain injury and neuron damage. In vivo haploid induction based on maternal haploid inducers is the first step in deriving completely homozygous maize doubled haploid(DH) lines. Haploid induction rate(HIR) is influenced by both pollen parent inducing haploidy and the maternal source germplasm used in induction crosses. This study was aimed at analyzing the influence of source germplasm on HIR using 671 tropical inbred lines organized in two association mapping panels. These two association mapping panels(AMP1 and AMP2) were crossed to two different Tropically Adapted Inducer Lines(TAILs). For HIR assessment, seeds from induction crosses were planted in the field and ploidy status of each surviving plant was assessed using a gold standard classification based on visual differences between the haploid and diploid plants. The analysis revealed significant variation for HIR and led to identification of several tropical inbred lines that respond very positively to haploid induction. Use of HIR data in a genome wide association study(GWAS) led to identification of twenty-seven and two SNPs that were significantly associated with HIR in AMP1 and AMP2,respectively. Meta-analysis of AMP1 and AMP2 GWAS led to identification of 52 SNPs with significant effect on HIR across both studies. Genome-wide prediction revealed moderate to high prediction accuracy within AMPs using random SNPs. Inclusion of the SNPs detected in GWAS into the prediction model led to improvement in prediction accuracy. Overall, the study revealed that the maternal influence on HIR is controlled by a few moderate and many small effect QTL.

Background:There is a growing interest to understand the neurobiological mechanisms that drive the positive associations of physical activity and fitness with measures of cognitive *** better understand those mechanisms,several studies have employed eye-based measures(e.g., eye movement measures such as saccades,pupillary measures such as pupil dilation,and vascular measures such as retinal vessel diameter)deemed to be proxies for specific neurobiological ***,there is currently no systematic review providing a comprehensive overview of these studies in the field of exercise-cognition ***,this review aimed to address that gap in the ***:To identify eligible studies,we searched 5 electronic databases on October 23,*** researchers independently extracted data and assessed the risk of bias using a modified version of the Tool for the assEssment of Study qualiTy and reporting in EXercise(TESTEX scale,for interventional studies) and the critical appraisal tool from the Joanna Briggs institute(for cross-sectional studies).Results:Our systematic review(n=35 studies) offers the following main findings:(a) there is insufficient evidence available to draw solid conclusions concerning gaze-fixation-based measures;(b) the evidence that pupillometric measures,which are a proxy for the noradrenergic system,can explain the positive effect of acute exercise and cardiorespiratory fitness on cognitive performance is mixed;(c) physical training-or fitness-related changes of the cerebrovascular system(operationalized via changes in retinal vasculature) are,in general,positively associated with cognitive performance improvements;(d) acute and chronic physical exercises show a positive effect based on an oculomotor-based measure function(operationalized via antisaccade tasks);and(e) the positive association between cardiorespiratory fitness and cognitive performance is partly mediated by the dopaminergic system(operationalized via spo
