Evaluation of neutron cross sections of^(48)Ti based on the Unified-Monte-Carlo-B method

A cross section evaluation of neutron induced reactions on^(48)Ti is undertaken using the Unified Monte Carlo-B(UMC-B)*** evaluation concentrates on estimating the covariance and the use of the UMC-B allows avoiding the deficiencies of linear regression brought by the traditional least squares *** main neutron and charged particle emission reactions from n+^(48)Ti in the fast neutron energy region below 20 MeV are studied in this *** posterior probability density function(PDF)of each neutron cross section is obtained in a UMC-B Bayesian approach by convoluting the model PDFs sampled based on model parameters and the likelihood functions for the experimental *** model parameters including level density,pair corrections,optical model and Kalbach matrix element parameter are stochastically sampled with the assumption of normal distributions to estimate the model *** Cholesky factorization approach is applied to consider potential parameter ***,the posterior covariance matrices are generated using the UMC-B generated *** new evaluated results are compared with the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,TENDL-2021 and JENDL-5 evaluations and differences are discussed.

Well productivity in the Asmari carbonate formation of southwest Iran has decreased in recent years as a result of production *** production rate must be maintained below 1500 STB/day to prevent water *** this study,a gas lift well is modeled using data from one of the producing wells of this *** analysis is performed using lift-gas injection rates and wellhead pressures at different reservoir pressures and water cut conditions to optimize *** aspects are considered to optimize the artificial gas injection rates at different tubing head pressures and water cut *** the lift-gas injection rate from 0.4 MMscf/day to 1 MMscf/day enhances the oil production rate by 37.71%and 43.89%for 10%and 30%water cut conditions,*** injection rates of 5.2 MMscf/day and 5.4 MMscf/day are determined to be economically optimal for 30%water cut with tubing head pressures of 260 psig and 270 psig,respectively.

The study critically examines the principles,mechanisms,and effectiveness of different damage control tech-niques in dealing with natural disasters,emphasizing their pivotal role in minimizing casualties and economic *** of these damage control techniques is mapped based on their applications and relevance in the key areas of natural disaster *** utilizing various real-world instances,the present study shows that the effective implementation of various innovative techniques is shaping the space of natural disaster management in a global *** integration of different innovative techniques into the existing natural disaster management system has improved the survival rate,economic performance,and sustainable *** study finds that innovative disaster financing models,clear strategies,and creating awareness among communities can improve the overall efficiency of innovative techniques that are currently used for damage control during natural disaster *** the substantial advantages of these creative strategies,the study acknowledges challenges such as financial constraints,unclear policy goals,and community adaptation *** study also indicates that in the future,automatic damage restoration,quick prototyping,and additive engineering will play a vital role in controlling damage from catastrophic events,while it acknowledges limitations in temporal scope,generaliz-ability,andfinancial constraints.

Diseases in tea trees can result in significant losses in both the quality and quantity of tea *** monitoring can help to prevent the occurrence of large-scale diseases in tea ***,existingmethods face challenges such as a high number of parameters and low recognition accuracy,which hinders their application in tea plantation monitoring *** paper presents a lightweight I-MobileNetV2 model for identifying diseases in tea leaves,to address these *** proposed method first embeds a Coordinate Attention(CA)module into the originalMobileNetV2 network,enabling the model to locate disease regions ***,a Multi-branch Parallel Convolution(MPC)module is employed to extract disease features across multiple scales,improving themodel’s adaptability to different disease ***,theAutoMLforModelCompression(AMC)is used to compress themodel and reduce computational *** results indicate that our proposed algorithm attains an average accuracy of 96.12%on our self-built tea leaf disease dataset,surpassing the original MobileNetV2 by 1.91%.Furthermore,the number of model parameters have been reduced by 40%,making itmore suitable for practical application in tea plantation environments.

Objective:Placement of human placenta derived grafts during robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy(RARP)hastens the return of continence and *** long-term impact on the oncologic outcomes remains to be *** objective was to determine the oncologic outcomes of patients with dehydrated human amnion chorion membrane(dHACM)at RARP compared to a matched ***:In a referral centre,from August 2013 to October 2019,599 patients used dHACM in bilateral nerve-sparing *** excluded patients with less than 12 months follow-up,simple prostatectomy,and unilateral *** with dHACM(amnio group)were 529,and were propensity score matched 1:1 to 2465 patients without dHACM(non-amnio group)and a minimum follow-up of 36 *** the time of RARP,dHACM was placed around the neurovascular bundle in the amnio *** and categorical variables in matched groups was tested by two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Fisher's exact test *** measured were biochemical recurrence(BCR),adjuvant and salvage therapy ***:Propensity score matching resulted in two groups of 444 *** incidence functions for BCR did not show a difference between the groups(p=0.3).Patients in the non-amnio group required salvage therapy more frequently than the amnio group,particularly after partial nerve-sparing RARP(6.3%vs.2.3%,p=0.001).Limitations are the absence of prospective ***:The data suggest that using dHACM does not have a negative impact on BCR in *** of cancer specific and overall survival will require follow-up study to increase our understanding of these grafts’impact on prostate cancer biology.

The Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)is a swarm intelligence metaheuristic inspired by the bubble-net hunting tactic of humpback *** spite of its popularity due to simplicity,ease of implementation,and a limited number of parameters,WOA’s search strategy can adversely affect the convergence and equilibrium between exploration and exploitation in complex *** address this limitation,we propose a new algorithm called Multi-trial Vector-based Whale Optimization Algorithm(MTV-WOA)that incorporates a Balancing Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(BS_TVP),a Local Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(LS_TVP),and a Global Strategy-based Trial-vector Producer(GS_TVP)to address real-world optimization problems of varied degrees of ***-WOA has the potential to enhance exploitation and exploration,reduce the probability of being stranded in local optima,and preserve the equilibrium between exploration and *** the purpose of evaluating the proposed algorithm's performance,it is compared to eight metaheuristic algorithms utilizing CEC 2018 test ***,MTV-WOA is compared with well-stablished,recent,and WOA variant *** experimental results demonstrate that MTV-WOA surpasses comparative algorithms in terms of the accuracy of the solutions and convergence ***,we conducted the Friedman test to assess the gained results statistically and observed that MTV-WOA significantly outperforms comparative ***,we solved five engineering design problems to demonstrate the practicality of *** results indicate that the proposed MTV-WOA can efficiently address the complexities of engineering challenges and provide superior solutions that are superior to those of other algorithms.

The three-orbit constellation can comprehensively increase the spatial coverage of polar-orbiting satellites,but the polar-orbiting satellites currently in operation are only mid-morning-orbit and afternoon-orbit ***-3E(FY-3E)was launched successfully on 5 July 2021 in *** an early-morning-orbit satellite,FY-3E can help form a complete three-orbit observation system together with the mid-morning and afternoon satellites in the current mainstream operational *** this study,we investigate the added benefit of FY-3E microwave sounding observations to the midmorning-orbit Meteorological Operational satellite-B(Met Op-B)and afternoon-orbit Fengyun-3D(FY-3D)microwave observations in the Chinese Meteorological Administration global forecast system(CMA-GFS).The results show that the additional FY-3E microwave temperature sounder-3(MWTS-3)and microwave humidity sounder-2(MWHS-2)data can increase the global coverage of microwave temperature and humidity sounding data by 14.8% and 10.6%,*** enables the CMA-GFS to achieve nearly 100% global coverage of microwave-sounding observations at each analysis ***,after effective quality control and bias correction,the global biases and standard deviations of the differences between observations and model simulations are also *** on the Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit A and the Microwave Humidity Sounder onboard Met Op-B,and the MWTS-2 and MWHS-2 onboard FY-3D,adding the microwave sounding data of FY-3E can further reduce the errors of analysis results and improve the global prediction skills of CMA-GFS,especially for the southern-hemisphere forecasts within 96 hours,all of which are significant at the 95% confidence level.
