The polysaccharides from edible fungus showed many kinds of biological activities,including anti-tumor,immunomodulatory,anti-inflammatory,anti-diabetes,improving functional constipation *** particular,the immunomodulatory effects have been paid more and more attention by scholars,but there was no systematic introduction of their immunomodulatory ***,this review introduced the immunomodulatory effects and mechanism of edible fungus polysaccharides in recent years,and then the relationships between structure and immunomodulatory effect were also discussed.

Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV) is a flavivirus transmitted by mosquitoes that causes severe encephalitis in humans and animals. It has been suggested that AXL, a transmembrane protein, can promote the replication of various flaviviruses,such as dengue(DENV), Zika(ZIKV), and West Nile(WNV) viruses. However, the effect of AXL on JEV infection has not yet been determined. In the present study, we demonstrate that AXL is down-regulated after JEV infection in the late stage. JEV NS2B-3 protein specifically interacted with AXL, and promoted AXL degradation through the ubiquitin–proteasome pathway. AXL-degradation increased cell apoptosis by disrupting phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3 K)/Akt signal transduction. In addition, the degradation of AXL promoted JEV release to supernatant, whereas the virus in the cell lysates decreased. The supplementation of AXL ligand Gas6 inhibited the JEV-mediated degradation of AXL. Altogether,we discover a new function of NS2B-3 during the process of JEV replication, and provide a new insight into the interactions between JEV and cell hosts.

This is the first report on a polysaccharide(RCJ2-Ib)isolated from Rosa Chinensis ***2-Ib was obtained through the extraction with water,precipitation with ethanol,separation with DEAE-52 column and purification with DEAE-Sepharose Fast Flow column and Sephadex G100 ***,FT-IR and NMR analyses revealed that RCJ2-Ib(3.3 k Da)was a 1,4-linked polymannuronic acid containing substantialβ-Danomers *** anticoagulant effect of RCJ2-Ib evaluated by using rabbit ear venous blood and an acute blood stasis rat model showed that RCJ2-Ib had obvious anticoagulant activity in regulating endogenous and exogenous coagulation pathways and reducing serum thromboxane B2 and *** addition,RCJ2-Ib could also increase the number of Lactobacillus and Escherichia *** a result,RCJ2-Ib has the potential to inhibit thrombosis and maintain the intestinal environment.

Ligustri lucidi Fructus is a traditional Chinese medicine and possesses various bioactivities,including hypoglycemic *** lucidum Ait flowers are poorly ***,we hypothesized that *** flowers also could have hypoglycemic *** composition and glucose uptake effect of *** flowers on 3T3-L1 adipocytes were *** this study,the components of *** flowers were investigated by various chromatographic and spectroscopic methods and the effects of *** flowers on the induction of glucose uptake were investigated by 3T3-L1 *** compounds were isolated and identified from *** flowers,including ursolic acid(1),kaempferol-7-O-α-Lrhamnoside(2,KR),β-sitosterol(3),β-daucosterol(4),kaempferitrin(5,KF),10-hydroxy oleuropein(6,HO),and kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside-7-α-L-rhamnopyranoside(7,KGR).The results of glucose uptake showed that total extract(TE),KR,KF and HO from *** flowers significantly enhanced glucose *** study demonstrated that compounds 2,5-7 were isolated for the first time from this plant and compounds 2 and 7 were isolated for the first time in genus Ligustrum,*** flowers,KR,KF and HO may possess potential hypoglycemic effect.

Mycotoxins are the toxic metabolites produced by the fungi that grow in food crops; however， the modified mycotoxins are the undetectable metabolites during testing for the parent mycotoxin. Although more than 300 mycotoxins were discovered and identified， little is known about the effects of most of them or their modified forms on child health. Aflatoxins are well known to induce liver cancer and play a significant role in the impairment of child growth. Fumonisin also are known to induce esophageal cancer and neural tube defects. However， deoxynivalenol and the other trichothecenes are well known as immunotoxic and induce gastroenteritis. In this review， the adverse health hazards in children associated with the major mycotoxins as well as the modified forms of fusarium mycotoxins were described. Additionally， the global burden of the health ghazards resulted from the exposure of children to dietary mycotoxin. The risk assessment， risk characterization and the challenges in risk characterization of multiple mycotoxins in children food were discussed.

3-Epi-betulinic acid 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(eBAG)is a pentacyclic triterpene mainly distributed in food and medicinal plants,which exhibits various pharmacological ***,whether these functions are attributed to eBAG or additional components in these plants remain ***,we report that eBAG exerted an inhibitory activity against hepatocellular carcinoma and esophageal cancer *** induced non-apoptotic cell death in hepatocellular carcinoma *** eBAG-induced cell death was inhibited by knock-down of autophagy related gene(ATG)5 and ATG7,by administration of 3-methyladenine,a selective autophagy inhibitor that suppresses phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K),and by chloroquine,a classic autophagy flux *** demonstrated that eBAG induced an autophagy-mediated cell *** of eBAG mimicked cellular bioenergetics depletion leading to the reduction of intracellular ATP,activation of AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK),and inhibition of ***-treatment with compound C,an AMPK inhibitor,abrogated cell death induced by *** further validated the anti-tumor effect of eBAG in the murine xenograft model of hepatocellular carcinoma and found that eBAG treatment promoted the induction of autophagy and reduction of tumor growth in *** a functional food ingredient,eBAG is a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma and esophageal cancer.

The present study was conducted to assay the antioxidant activities of essential oils and ethanol extracts of fennel(Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)seeds from Egypt and *** major components of the Egyptian fennel essential oil were estragole(51.04%),limonene(11.45%),l-fenchone(8.19%)and trans-anethole(3.62%)by GC–MS ***,the major constituents of Chinese fennel essential oil were transanethole(54.26%),estragole(20.25%),l-fenchone(7.36%)and limonene(2.41%).The fennel seed extracts from Egypt and China contained appreciable levels of total phenolic contents(42.24 and 30.94 mg PE/g,respectively).The extracts exhibited good DPPH radical scavenging capacity with IC50(6.34 and 7.17 mg/g),respectively.A high variation in free radical scavenging activities of essential oils was *** Chinese fennel essential oil showed high activity in DPPH radical scavenging with IC50(15.66 mg/g).The Egyptian fennel essential oil showed very low activity with IC50(141.82 mg/g).The results of the present investigation demonstrated significant variations in the antioxidant activities of fennel essential oils and extracts from Egypt and China.

Patrinia scabiosaefolia,is used as wild vegetable in China for more than 2000 years,with a variety of pharmacological activities,including anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor and *** on our ongoing research on chemical constituents and hypoglycemic activity of ***,4 lignan compounds,(+)-isolariciresinol(1),7R,7’R,8S,8’S-(+)-neo-olivil-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(2),4-O-methylcedrusin(3)and patrinian A(4),were isolated and identifi *** hypoglycemic activity showed that compounds 2 and 3 could extremely signifi cantly improve insulin resistance at 100(P<0.001),50(P<0.001)and 25μmol/L(P<0.01)in IR 3T3-L1 *** compound 4 only promoted glucose uptake by IR 3T3-L1 cells at 100μmol/L(P<0.01).Western blotting experiments showed that compounds 2 and 4 up-regulated the protein expressions of p-IRS,PI-3K,p-AKT and glucose transporter 4(GLUT4),and promoted the transcription of GLUT4 ***,the mechanisms of compounds 2 and 4 were presumed to improve IR by activating PI-3K/AKT signaling pathway.
