Heterobimetallic[NiCo]integration in a hydrogenase mimic for boosting light-driven hydrogen evolution in CaTiO_(3)

Light-drive hydrogen production using titanium-based perovskite is one sustainable way to reduce current reliance on fossil fuels,but its wide applications are still limited by high electron−hole recombination and sluggish surface ***,the developments for low-cost and highly efficient co-catalysts remain *** by natural[NiFe]-hydrogenase active center structure,a hydrogenase-mimic,NiCo_(2)S_(4) nanozyme was synthesized,and subsequently decorated onto the CaTiO_(3) to catalyze the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Among the following test,CaTiO_(3)with a 15%loading of NiCo_(2)S_(4) nanozyme exhibited the highest HER rate of 307.76μmol·g^(–1)·h^(–1),which is 60 times higher than that of the CaTiO_(3) *** results reveal that NiCo_(2)S_(4) not only significantly increased the charge separation efficiency of the photogenerated carriers,but also substantively lowered the HER activation *** studies show that NiCo_(2)S_(4) readily splits H_(2)O by forming the Ni(OH)-Co intermediate and only Ni in the bimetallic center alters the oxidation state during the HER process in a manner analogous to the[NiFe]-*** contrast to the often-expensive synthetic catalysts that rely on rare elements such as ruthenium and platinum,this study shows a promising way to develop the nature-inspired cocatalysts to enhance the photocatalysts’HER performance.

Hole-Doped Nonvolatile and Electrically Controllable Magnetism in van der Waals Ferroelectric Heterostructures

Electrical control of magnetism in van der Waals semiconductors is a promising step towards development of two-dimensional spintronic devices with ultralow power consumption for processing and storing ***, we propose a design for two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures(vdWHs) that can host ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism simultaneously under hole doping. By contacting an In Se monolayer and forming an InSe/In_(2)Se_(3) vd WH, the switchable built-in electric field from the reversible out-of-plane polarization enables robust control of the band alignment. Furthermore, switching between the two ferroelectric states(P_↑ and P_↓)of hole-doped In_(2)Se_(3) with an external electric field can interchange the ON and OFF states of the nonvolatile magnetism. More interestingly, doping concentration and strain can effectively tune the magnetic moment and polarization energy. Therefore, this provides a platform for realizing multiferroics in ferroelectric heterostructures,showing great potential for use in nonvolatile memories and ferroelectric field-effect transistors.

Interfaces engineering of heterostructured Ni Co P/Ni Fe LDH@CC for attaining high catalytic activity in long-lasting rechargeable Zn–air batteries

Zinc-air batteries (ZABs) offer tremendous potential in various industries and daily life due to their excellent energy density,safety and ***,the practical application of ZABs has been severely hindered by challenges such as high low round-trip efficiencies and overpotential,primarily attributed to the inherent sluggish kinetics in the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) of air *** address these issues effectively and economically,heterojunction engineering accompanied by interfacial chemistry emerges as an ideal approach to designing efficient OER ***,a novel heterogeneous interfacial chemical structure,namely NiCoP/NiFe LDH (layered double hydroxide),needle-like NiCoP and NiFe LDH nanosheets were assembled from cores and shells,***,the NiCoP/NiFe LDH-based ZABs have an exceptionally long cycle life of 238 h,far superior to Pt/C+Ir/C batteries (～97 h).Theoretical calculations and experimental results demonstrate that NiCoP/NiFe LDH possesses tunable interfacial chemistry,demonstrating significant electronic,coordination,geometric and synergistic *** enhancements dramatically improve the active site density,intrinsic activity and electrochemical durability of the *** summary,this work provides a solid foundation for the development of costeffective OER electrocatalysts for electrochemical energy devices.

Association between Mental Health Literacy and Workplace Well-Being of Chinese Grassroots Civil Servants:The Chain Mediating Effects of Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy and Resilience

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between mental health literacy(MHL)and workplace well-being(WWB)of Chinese grassroots civil servants,with regulatory emotional self-efﬁcacy(RESE)and resilience as mediating variables.A questionnaire survey was conducted among Chinese grassroots civil servants,with a valid sample size of 2673 after excluding missing values and conducting relevant data *** PROCESS was used to examine the relationship between MHL,RESE,resilience,and *** study found that MHL among grassroots civil servants was positively and signiﬁcantly correlated with WWB(r=0.73,p1).RESE partially mediated the relationship between MHL and WWB(β=0.25,95%CI[0.22,0.28]).Resilience partially mediated the relationship between MHL and WWB(β=0.22,95%CI[0.19,0.26]).MHL had a positive effect on WWB through the chain mediating effect of RESE and resilience(β=0.05,95%CI[0.03,0.07]).There is a close relationship between MHL and WWB,where Chinese grassroots civil servants with higher levels of MHL can develop stronger RESE and resilience,leading to higher *** results of this study remind organizational institutions of Chinese grassroots civil servants that enhancing MHL,RESE,and resilience is an important pathway to promoting their WWB.

Investigation of surface textures deterioration on pavement skid-resistance using hysteresis friction models and numerical simulation method

Many rubber friction theories or some method combined theories and field-experiments are employed to evaluate the pavement skid-resistance deterioration due to the evolution of surface ***,these methods are difficult to be implemented in the analysis of situations with multi-factor coupling and some extreme *** study developed a framework to evaluate the skid-resistance deterioration of asphalt *** this framework,the portable laser scanning was used to create the digital worn pavement model,and a hydroplaning finite element(FE)model for these digital worn pavements was constructed to evaluate coupling effects of the texture evolution and factors of slip ratio,slip angle,velocity and water film on braking-cornering characteristics of *** this study,the deterioration of skid-resistance of five typical asphalt pavements due the surface texture wear was systematically investigated by this *** with previous works,this study established the rubber friction models for each digital worn pavement considering the energy hysteresis of rubber and the power spectrum density of surface *** the rubber friction model was used to define the interaction behaviors between the tire and corresponding wore pavements in the FE hydroplaning model,rather than using an empirical friction model or a fixed friction coefficient.

Developing an efficient photocatalytic system for hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))activation in Fenton-like processes holds significant promise for advancing water purification ***,challenges such as high carrier recombination rates,limited active sites,and suboptimal H_(2)O_(2)activation efficiency impede optimal *** we show that single-iron-atom dispersed Bi_(2)WO_(6)monolayers(SIAD-BWOM),designed through a facile hydrothermal approach,can offer abundant active sites for H_(2)O_(2)*** SIAD-BWOM catalyst demonstrates superior photo-Fenton degradation capabilities,particularly for the persistent pesticide dinotefuran(DNF),showcasing its potential in addressing recalcitrant organic *** reveal that the incorporation of iron atoms in place of tungsten within the electron-rich[WO_(4)]^(2-)layers significantly facilitates electron transfer processes and boosts the Fe(II)/Fe(III)cycle *** experimental investigations and theoretical analyses further elucidate how the atomically dispersed iron induces lattice strain in the Bi_(2)WO_(6)monolayer,thereby modulating the d-band center of iron to improve H_(2)O_(2)adsorption and *** research provides a practical framework for developing advanced photo-Fenton catalysts,which can be used to treat emerging and refractory organic pollutants more effectively.

Tumor progression is closely related to tumor tissue metabolism and reshaping of the microenvironment. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), a representative hypoxic tumor, has a heterogeneous internal metabolic environment. To clarify the relationship between different metabolic regions and the tumor immune microenvironment (TME) in OSCC, Single cell (SC) and spatial transcriptomics (ST) sequencing of OSCC tissues were performed. The proportion of TME in the ST data was obtained through SPOTlight deconvolution using SC and GSE103322 data. The metabolic activity of each spot was calculated using scMetabolism,and k-means clustering was used to classify all spots into hyper-, normal-, or hypometabolic regions. CD4T cell infiltration and TGF-βexpression is higher in the hypermetabolic regions than in the others. Through CellPhoneDB and NicheNet cell-cell communication analysis, it was found that in the hypermetabolic region, fibroblasts can utilize the lactate produced by glycolysis of epithelial cells to transform into inflammatory cancer-associated fibroblasts (iCAFs), and the increased expression of HIF1A in iCAFs promotes the transcriptional expression of CXCL12. The secretion of CXCL12 recruits regulatory T cells (Tregs), leading to Treg infiltration and increased TGF-β secretion in the microenvironment and promotes the formation of a tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment. This study delineates the coordinate work axis of epithelial cells-iCAFs-Tregs in OSCC using SC, ST and TCGA bulk data, and highlights potential targets for therapy.
