Population aging and the consequent change in the profile of the age pyramid are already a reality the world over. One undeniable effect of this aging process is the significant increase in the number of people with Alzheimer’s disease (AD), which is the most common form of dementia, accounting for around 50% - 60% of all cases. AD tends to affect people in their 60 s, becoming progressively more commonplace in older age groups. It is an incurable disease, and patients can live for many years taking medication on a daily basis. This study shows that research into AD is on the rise around the world because the pharmaceutical industry and research institutions are seeking new types of drugs to treat and even cure Alzheimer’s patients. By analyzing patent documents, we map out the potential future treatments for this disease, indicating the leading countries and drugs companies that have invested most in a bid to accelerate progress towards new discoveries about the disease and the development of new drugs.

This study proposes two novel fault tolerant deterministic secure quantum communication （DSQC） schemes resistant to collective noise using logical Bell states. Either DSQC scheme is constructed based on a new coding function, which is designed by exploiting the property of the corresponding logical Bell states immune to collective-dephasing noise and collective-rotation noise, respectively. The secret message can be encoded by two simple unitary operations and decoded by merely performing Bell measurements, which can make the proposed scheme more convenient in practical applications. Moreover, the strategy of one-step quanta transmission, together with the technique of decoy logical qubits checking not only reduces the influence of other noise existing in a quantum channel, but also guarantees the security of the communication between two legitimate users. The final analysis shows that the proposed schemes are feasible and robust against various well-known attacks over the collective noise channel.

The authors integrate two well-known systems, the Rssler and Lorentz systems,to introduce a new chaotic system, called the Lorentz-Rssler system. Then, taking into account the effect of environmental noise, the authors incorporate white noise in both Rssler and Lorentz systems to have a corresponding stochastic system. By deriving the uniform a priori estimates for an approximate system and then taking them to the limit,the authors prove the global existence, uniqueness and the pathwise property of solutions to the Lorentz-Rssler system. Moreover, the authors carried out a number of numerical experiments, and the numerical results demonstrate their theoretic analysis and show some new qualitative properties of solutions which reveal that the Lorentz-Ro¨ssler system could be used to design more complex and more secure nonlinear hop-frequence time series.

The study of nuclide production and its properties in the N=126 neutron-rich region is prevalent in nuclear physics and astrophysics *** upcoming High-energy FRagment Separator(HFRS)at the High-Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF),an in-flight separator at relativistic energies,is characterized by high beam intensity,large ion-optical acceptance,high magnetic rigidity,and high momentum resolution *** provides an opportunity to study the production and properties of neutron-rich nuclei around N=*** this paper,an experimental scheme is proposed to produce neutron-rich nuclei around N=126 and simultaneously measure their mass and lifetime based on the HFRS separator;the feasibility of this scheme is evaluated through *** results show that under the high-resolution optical mode,many new neutron-rich nuclei approaching the r-process abundance peak around A=195 can be produced for the first time,and many nuclei with unknown masses and lifetimes can be produced with high *** the time-of-flight corrected by the measured dispersive position and energy loss information,the cocktails produced from 208 Pb fragmentation can be unambiguously ***,the masses of some neutron-rich nuclei near N=126 can be measured with high precision using the time-of-flight magnetic rigidity *** indicates that the HIAF-HFRS facility has the potential for the production and property research of neutron-rich nuclei around N=126,which is of great significance for expanding the chart of nuclides,developing nuclear theories,and understanding the origin of heavy elements in the universe.

一带一路新理念主要促进了亚欧之间的经贸合作。建设丝绸之路经济带对中国发展与中亚与欧洲国家之间通过洲际铁路运输的转运十分重要。中国就欧亚经济空间与丝绸之路经济带之间联系合作与俄罗斯签订了协议,该协议需要实施包括知识产权海关执法在内的进一步海关合作。一带一路对于欧洲而言,不仅希望与中国与亚洲国家通过公路运输开展更多的贸易,也有更多的转运货物的目的地在于欧盟境内,与此同时中国仍然是欧盟边境上被暂停放行的假冒和盗版货物的主要来源。因此,与中国政府合作打击来源于中国的侵权货物是欧盟的战略。本文基于中国-欧亚经济空间以及中欧之间的合作,通过介绍欧亚经济空间和欧盟的海关法与知识产权执法的最近发展,对一带一路有关的知识产权海关执法予以初步分析,并且对中国政策制定者和立法者尤其可以从欧盟对于转运货物知识产权海关执法中借鉴进行比较研究。

Eco-friendly SnTe based thermoelectric materials are intensively studied recently as candidates to replace PbTe;yet the thermoelectric performance of SnTe is suppressed by its intrinsically high carrier concentration and high thermal *** this work,we confirm that the Ag and La co-doping can be applied to simultaneously enhance the power factor and reduce the thermal conductivity,contributing to a final promotion of figure of *** one hand,the carrier concentration and band offset between valence bands are concurrently reduced,promoting the power factor to a highest value of-2436μW·m^(-1)·K^(-2) at 873 *** the other hand,lots of dislocations(~3.16×10^(7)mm^(-2))associated with impurity precipitates are generated,resulting in the decline of thermal conductivity to a minimum value of 1.87 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1) at 873 *** a result,a substantial thermoelectric performance enhancement up to zT≈1.0 at 873 K is obtained for the sample Sn0.94Ag0.09La0.05Te,which is twice that of the pristine SnTe(zT≈0.49 at 873 K).This strategy of synergistic manipulation of electronic band and microstructures via introducing rare earth elements could be applied to other systems to improve thermoelectric performance.
