Hepatic lipid homeostasis is not only essential for maintain-ing normal cellular and systemic metabolic function but is also closely related to the steatosis of the *** contro-versy over the nomenclature of non-alcoholic fatty liver dis-ease(NAFLD)in the past three years has once again sparked in-depth discussions on the pathogenesis of this disease and its impact on systemic ***-targeted gland axes(PTGA),an important hormone-regulating system,are indispensable in lipid *** review focuses on the roles of thyroid hormones,adrenal hormones,sex hor-mones,and their receptors in hepatic lipid homeostasis,and summarizes recent research on pituitary target gland axes-related drugs regulating hepatic lipid *** also calls on researchers and clinicians to recognize the concept of endocrine-associated fatty liver disease(EAFLD)and to re-examine human lipid metabolism from the macroscopic perspective of homeostatic balance.

Sepsis is a lethal condition characterized by multiple organ dysfunction due to disrupted host responses to severe infections.[1]Aff ected patients often have a Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)score≥2.[2]Patients with a SOFA score<2 and at least one of the following were considered as“suspected sepsis”:(1)quick SOFA(qSOFA)score≥2;(2)SOFA score=1;or(3)National Early Warning Score(NEWS)4-6.[3]Compared with studies on fluid resuscitation in sepsis patients,there are few studies on fluid management in patients with suspected ***,we conducted a retrospective cohort study to evaluate the relationship between fluid management and disease progression in suspected sepsis patients.

In this editorial we comment on an article published in a recent issue of the World J Gastrointest Surg.A common gene mutation in gastric cancer(GC)is the TP53 *** a tumor suppressor gene,TP53 is implicated in more than half of all tumor ***53 gene mutations in GC tissue may be related with clinical pathological *** TP53 mutation arose late in the progression of GC and aided in the final switch to ***1 encodes E-cadherin,which is involved in cell-to-cell adhesion,epithelial structure maintenance,cell polarity,differentiation,and intracellular signaling pathway ***1 mutations and functional loss can result in diffuse GC,and CDH1 mutations can serve as independent prognostic indicators for poor *** patients can benefit from genetic counseling and testing for CDH1 *** therapy may assist to postpone the onset and progression of *** investigation of TP53 and CDH1 gene mutations in GC allows for the investigation of the relationship between these two gene mutations,as well as providing some basis for evaluating the prognosis of GC patients.
