AIM: To generate prevalence estimates of weight status and cardiometabolic disease risk factors among adolescents with and without ***: Analysis of the 1999-2010 National health and Nutrition Examination Survey data was conducted among 12-18 years old with(n = 256) and without disabilities(n = 5020). Mean values of waist circumference, fasting glucose, high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, systolic and diastolic blood pressure and metabolic syndrome(Met S, ≥ 3 risk factors present) were examined by the following standardized body mass index(BMI) categories for those with and without disabilities; overweight(BMI ≥ 85th- health vs their peers with no disabilities. health care professionals should monitor the cardiometabolic health of adolescents with disabilities.

目的旨在调查和了解护士主动报告差错(voluntary error reporting,VER)的体验,并阐明其决定参与VER的因素。方法按照Whittemore与Knafl的整合性综述方法,对CINAHL,Medline(PubMed),Scopus和Embase 4个数据库进行检索。检索文献发表时间限定为2010年1月至2020年12月,仅纳入经过同行评审的英文文献。结果质量评价后最终纳入31篇论文。采用持续比较的方法,综合符合纳入标准的研究结果,总结护理人员的VER体验,包括护士对VER的态度、感知、情绪和实践,护士感知的VER使能因素和护士感知的VER抑制因素3个主题。结果显示,护理人员的VER体验并不理想。这些消极的体验是由影响他们的态度、感知、情绪和实践的因素相互作用而产生;也是由一系列系统、管理和组织因素引起,这些因素侧重于将错误归因于人为失误,并以不支持、指责和惩罚的错误管理方法为特征。结论本综述的结果完善了知识体系,并为重点领域的护理管理观点提供信息,以加强机构的建设,提高护士对VER认可、接受和贡献。建议护理管理者优先考虑并投资于改善现有机构管理方法的策略,以建立更为公正和开放的患者安全文化,这将提高护士对VER的积极性。

We characterized a unique group of patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder （NMOSD） who carded autoantibod- ies of aquaporin-4 （AQP4） and myelin-oligodendrocyte glycoprotein （MOG）. Among the 125 NMOSD patients, 10 （8.0%） were AQP4- and MOG-ab double positive, and 14 （11.2%） were MOG-ab single positive. The double-positive patients had a multiphase disease course with a high annual relapse rate （P=0.0431）, and severe residual disability （P〈0.0001）. Of the dou- ble-positive patients, 70% had MS-like brain lesions, more severe edematous, multifocal regions on spinal magnetic resonance imaging （MRI）, pronounced decreases of retinal nerve fiber layer thickness and atrophy of optic nerves. In contrast, patients with only MOG-ab had a higher ratio of monophasic disease course and mild residual disability. Spinal cord MRI illustrated multifocal cord lesions with mild edema, and brain MRIs showed more lesions around lateral ventricles. NMOSD patients carrying both autoantibodies to AQP4 and MOG existed and exhibited combined features of prototypic NMO and relaps- ing-remitting form of MS, whereas NMOSD with antibodies to MOG only exhibited an ＂intermediate＂ phenotype between NMOSD and MS. Our study suggests that antibodies against MOG might be pathogenic in NMOSD patients and that determi- nation of anti-MOG antibodies maybe instructive for management of NMOSD patients.

AIM:To evaluate whether desferrioxamine decreases ischemia and perfusion injury aggravated by cold storage(CS)in a rat liver perfusion model. METHODS:Isolated rat livers were kept in CS in University of Wisconsin Solution for 20 h at 4℃,then exposed to 25 min of warm ischemia(WI)at 37℃ followed by 2 h of warm perfusion(WP)at 37℃with oxygenated(95%oxygen and 5%carbon dioxide) Krebs-Henseleit ***(DFO),an iron chelator,was added at different stages of storage,ischemia and perfusion:in CS only,in WI only,in WP only, in WI and perfusion,or in all *** samples were collected after CS and after *** samples and bile were collected every 30 min(0,0.5,1,1.5 and 2 h)during liver *** injury was assessed by the determination of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)in the effluent and perfusate *** iron was analysed in the perfusate *** WP,the liver was collected for the determination of liver swelling(wet to dry ratio) and liver morphological examination(hematoxylin and eosin staining). RESULTS:Increased CS time caused increased liver dysfunction during *** 2 h of WP,liver injury was indicated by increased release of AST(0.5 h CS:9.4± 2.2 U/g liver vs 20 h CS:45.9±10.8 U/g liver,P<0.05) and LDH(0.5 h CS:59±14 U/g liver vs 20 h CS:297 ±71 U/g liver,P<0.05).There was an associated increase in iron release into the perfusate(0.5 h CS:0.11 ±0.03μmoL/g liver vs 20 h CS:0.58±0.10μmoL/g liver,P<0.05)and reduction in bile flow(0.5 h CS: 194±12μL/g vs 20 h CS:71±8μL/g liver,P<0.05). When DFO was added during WI and WP following 20 h of CS,release of iron into the perfusate was de- creased(DFO absent 0.58±0.10μmoL/g liver vs DFO present 0.31±0.06μmoL/g liver,P<0.05),and liver function substantially improved with decreased release of AST(DFO absent 45.9±10.8 U/g liver vs DFO present 8.1±0.9 U/g liver,P<0.05)and LDH(DFO absent 297±71 U/g liver vs DFO present 56±7 U/g liver,P<0.05),and inc
