This paper investigates the generalized projective synchronization scheme of a new fractional chaotic system, which can display a four-wing chaotic attractor when the order of system is in the range of 0.82 and ***, considering the situation with unknown parameters, an adaptive nonlinear controller is obtained for synchronization and parameters identification based on fractional-order Lyapunov stability theorem. The fractional-order adaptation law, which can update parameters estimation errors online, is derived to ensure the stability of synchronization error system. Numerical simulations are used to verify the results.

Miniature robots show great potential in exploring narrow and confined spaces to perform various tasks,but many applications are limited by the dependence of these robots on electrical or pneumatic tethers to power supplies *** an onboard actuator that is small in size and powerful enough to carry all the components onboard is a major challenge to eliminate the need for a *** can trigger a dramatic energy release during switching between the 2 stable states,thus providing a promising way to overcome the intrinsic limitation of insufficient power of small *** this work,the antagonistic action between torsional deflection and bending deflection in a lamina emergent torsional joint is utilized to achieve bistability,yielding a buckling-free bistable *** unique configuration of this bistable design enables integrating of a single bending electroactive artificial muscle in the structure to form a compact,self-switching bistable actuator.A low-voltage ionic polymer-metal composites artificial muscle is employed,yielding a bistable actuator capable of generating an instantaneous angular velocity exceeding 300°/s by a 3.75-V *** untethered robotic demonstrations using the bistable actuator are presented,including a crawling robot(gross weight of 2.7 g,including actuator,battery,and on-board circuit)that can generate a maximum instantaneous velocity of 40 mm/s and a swimming robot equipped with a pair of origami-inspired paddles that swims *** low-voltage bistable actuator shows potential for achieving autonomous motion of various fully untethered miniature robots.

In the urban water supply system, the location and quantity of the pressure monitoring nodes play a significant role for the monitoring effect and the response warning of the pipe burst. However, most installation of pressure monitoring nodes are based on human experience, which cannot totally present the whole water supply system condition. In view of the unreasonable layout of pressure monitoring nodes, this paper presents a solution Integrating sensitivity analysis, genetic algorithm, hydraulic model calculation and pipe network topology. Then optimize the number of pressure monitoring nodes by considering the amount of water covered and the number of associated nodes. This solution offers a relatively accurate and reasonable way to optimize the layout of pressure monitoring nodes in large-scale site selection, presenting better comprehensive effect compared with previous layout. To a certain extent, this optimized layout of pressure monitoring nodes reduce the impact of human factors and improve the monitoring of water supply network operation results.

We introduced a dual electron accepting layer composed of tetrafluoro-tetracyanoquinodimethane （F4-TCNQ） and MoO3 for thermoelectric devices based on a pentacene layer. We found that the power factor is enhanced by placing an F4-TCNQ layer directly in contact with the pentacene layer and it is also enhanced by placing a MoO3 layer between the F4-TCNQ layer and the Au electrode. By examining the contact resistance using a field effect transistor and a hole-only diode, we confirmed that the hole injection is improved due to the reduction of contact resistance at the interface between the MoO3 layer and the Au electrode.

As an important equipment to preheat air and to improve coal-fired power plant boiler efficiency with the heat of boiler tail flue gas,the air preheater’s safe and economic operation influences unit efficiency *** present,above 80%utility-type unit in domestic uses tri-sectional rotary air ***,the rotary air preheater has become an indispensable auxiliary machinery in modern large ***,a kind of air preheater heat transfer model of inverse flue gas flow is proposed in this paper,the ash fouling situation of air preheater is showed with the cleanliness factors based on heat transfer model and flue gas pressure drop model ***,the cleanliness factor of air preheater is calculated and gained through thermodynamics indirectly with energy balance *** to the verification results of the actual operation data of a 600 MW coal-fired unit,both of these two kinds of mode can reflect the dynamic change of ash fouling situation of air preheater in real time,and among which,the cleanliness factor based on flue gas pressure drop mode has a better online monitoring result on ash fouling situation of heat transfer surface.

In this paper, a novel approach combining Q-learning method and two-stage optimization is proposed to solve linear quadratic tracking（LQT） problem for unknown discrete-time switched system. An augmented system consisting of switched subsystem and reference trajectory is built and Q-learning method is introduced to identify each subsystem without requiring any knowledge of augmented system state dynamics. Then, based on the optimal control laws for each subsystem obtained by Q-learning in advance, the optimal hybrid control law including switching mode and control input is obtained by the two-stage optimization framework. Furthermore, the optimality of the algorithm is proved. Finally, a simulation case is used to testify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

As the main force of power generation in China, coal-fired power plants have great significance for energy conservation and emission reduction. The oxygen content in flue gases is an important index to reflect the combustion efficiency of the boiler, and the accurate monitoring is an effective way to improve combustion efficiency. Based on the BP neural network, a soft-sensing model for oxygen content in flue gases is proposed in this paper, this article, taking a boiler combustion system of 600 MW coal-fired power plant unit in Jiaxing, Zhejiang as the research object, through real-time measurement data of DCS system, a flue gases oxygen content model is established, and this model has realized the soft measurement to flue gases oxygen content, the simulation results prove the validity of the soft sensing model. This model has great significance to the monitoring of the oxygen content in flue gases of boiler combustion system and the further study of combustion optimization on this basis.
