Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

This paper presents a set of analytical expressions used to determine the coupling coefficient between primary and secondary Litz-wire planar coils used in a transcutaneous energy transfer(TET) system. A TET system has been designed to power a novel elastic scaling artificial anal sphincter system(ES-AASS) for treating severe fecal incontinence(FI), a condition that would benefit from an optimized TET. Expressions that describe the geometrical dimension dependence of self- and mutual inductances of planar coils on a ferrite substrate are provided. The effects of ferrite substrate conductivity, relative permeability, and geometrical dimensions are also considered. To verify these expressions, mutual coupling between planar coils is computed by 3D finite element analysis(FEA), and the proposed expressions show good agreement with numerical results. Different types of planar coils are fabricated with or without ferrite substrate. Measured results for each of the cases are compared with theoretical predictions and FEA solutions. The theoretical results and FEA results are in good agreement with the experimental data.

An intelligent control method is proposed for the electronically controlled pneumatic(ECP)braking system of a heavy-haul train. The gradient of the ramp is estimated using a Kalman filter in real time and the braking force is adjusted by the backstepping method, so that vehicles on different gradients change their brake pressure with the change in the gradient to keep the instantaneous deceleration of each vehicle consistent, thus reducing the longitudinal impact between vehicles. The longitudinal impact of heavy-haul trains with and without intelligent control under different gradients, initial braking speeds, loads and complex terrains are simulated and analysed. The results show that when the intelligent control is applied, each vehicle can adjust its brake pressure in time according to the change of gradient. The intelligent control method can effectively alleviate the longitudinal impact of vehicles, and the reduction rate remains greater than 40% under the influence of various factors.

Many modern video encoders use the Lagrangian rate-distortion optimization （RDO） algorithm for mode deci- sions during the compression procedure. For each encoding stage, this approach involves minimizing a cost, which is a function of rate, distortion and a multiplier called Lambda. This paper proposes to improve the RDO process by applying two modifications. The first modification is to increase the ac- curacy of rate estimation, which is achieved by computing a non-integer number of bits for arithmetic coding of the syntax elements. This leads to a more accurate cost computation and therefore a better mode decision. The second modification is to search and adjust the value of Lambda based on the char- acteristics of each coding stage. For the encoder used, this paper proposes to search multiple values of Lambda for the intra-4x4 mode decision. Moreover, a simple shift in Lambda value is proposed for motion estimation. Each of these modi- fications offers a certain gain in RDO performance, and, when all are combined, an average bit-rate saving of up to 7.0% can be achieved for the H.264/AVC codec while the same concept is applicable to the H.265/HEVC codec as well. The extra added complexity is contained to a certain level, and is also adjustable according to the processing resources available.

This paper studies a distributed optimal consensus problem for multiple double integrators under bounded velocity and acceleration. Assigned with an in dividual and private convex cost which is dependent on the position, each age nt n eeds to achieve consensus at the optimum of the aggregate cost under bounded velocity and acceleration. Based on relative positions and velocities to neighbor agents, we design a distributed control law by including the integration feedback of position and velocity errors. By employing quadratic Lyapunov functions, we solve the optimal consensus problem of double-integrators when the fixed topology is strongly connected and weight-balanced. Furthermore, if an initial estimate of the optimum can be known, then control gains can be properly selected to achieve an exponentially fast convergence under bounded velocity and acceleration. The result still holds when the relative velocity is not available, and we also discuss an extension for heterogeneous Euler-Lagrange systems by in verse dynamics control. A nu meric example is provided to illustrate the result.

In order to improve efficiency and reduce the output ripple, a novel multi-mode charge pump is presented. The proposed charge pump includes dual-loop regulation topology-skip and linear modes. It consumes low quiescent current in skip mode for light loads, and produces low ripple in linear mode for heavy loads, which closes the gap between linear mode and skip mode with active regulation; a multi-mode charge pump employing the technique has been implemented in the UMC 0.6-μm-BCD process. The results indicate that the charge pump works well and effectively; it has low ripple with special regulation, and minimizes the size of the capacitance, then decreases the area of the PCB board. The adjustable output of the positive charge pump is 10-30 V, and the maximum output ripple is 100 mV when the load current is 200 mA. The line regulation is 0.2%/V, and load regulation is 0.075%.
