A Residual Frequency Offset Estimation Method Based on Range Migration Fitting

Recently, researchers have proposed an emitter localization method based on passive synthetic aperture. However, the unknown residual frequency offset(RFO) between the transmitter and the receiver causes the received Doppler signal to shift, which affects the localization accuracy. To solve this issue, this paper proposes a RFO estimation method based on range migration fitting. Due to the high frequency modulation slope of the linear frequency modulation(LFM)-modulation radar signal, it is not affected by RFO in range compression. Therefore, the azimuth time can be estimated by fitting the peak value position of the pulse compression in range ***, the matched filters are designed under different RFOs. When the zero-Doppler time obtained by the matched filters is consistent with the estimated azimuth time, the given RFO is the real RFO between the transceivers. The simulation results show that the estimation error of azimuth distance does not exceed 20 m when the received signal duration is not less than 3 s, the pulse repetition frequency(PRF) of the transmitter radar signal is not less than 1 k Hz, the range detection is not larger than 1 000 km, and the signal noise ratio(SNR) is not less than –5 d B.

Wireless sensing of the wave propagation direction from radio sources lays the foundation for communication,radar,navigation,***,the existing signal processing paradigm for the direction of arrival estimation requires the radio frequency electronic circuit to demodulate and sample the multichannel baseband signals followed by a complicated computing process,which places the fundamental limit on its sensing speed and energy ***,we propose the super-resolution diffractive neural networks(S-DNN)to process electromagnetic(EM)waves directly for the DOA estimation at the speed of *** multilayer meta-structures of S-DNN generate super-oscillatory angular responses in local angular regions that can perform the all-optical DOA estimation with angular resolutions beyond the diffraction *** spatial-temporal multiplexing of passive and reconfigurable S-DNNs is utilized to achieve high-resolution DOA estimation over a wide field of *** S-DNN is validated for the DOA estimation of multiple radio sources over 5 GHz frequency bandwidth with estimation latency over two to four orders of magnitude lower than the state-of-the-art commercial devices in *** results achieve the angular resolution over an order of magnitude,experimentally demonstrated with four times,higher than diffraction-limited *** also apply S-DNN’s edge computing capability,assisted by reconfigurable intelligent surfaces,for extremely low-latency integrated sensing and communication with low power *** work is a significant step towards utilizing photonic computing processors to facilitate various wireless sensing and communication tasks with advantages in both computing paradigms and performance over electronic computing.

The interfacial chemistry of solid electrolyte interphases （SEI） on lithium （Li）electrode is directly determined by the structural chemistry of the electric double layer （EDL） at the ***,a strategy for regulating the structural chemistry of EDL via the introduction of intermolecular hydrogen bonds has been proposed (p-hydroxybenzoic acid （pHA） is selected as proof'of-concept).According to the molecular dynamics （MD） simulation and density functional theory （DFT） calculation results,the existence of hydrogen bonds realizes the anion structural rearrangement in the EDL,reduces the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital （LUMO） energy level of anions in the EDL,and the number of free solvent molecules,which promotes the formation of inorganic species-enriched SEI and eventually achieves the dendrite-free Li *** on this strategy,Li‖Cu cells can stably run over 185 cycles with an accumulated active Li loss of only 2.27mAhcm-2,and the long-term cycle stability of Li‖Li cells is increased to 1200 *** addition,the full cell pairing with the commercial LiFePO4（LFP） cathodes exhibits stable cycling performance at 1C,with a capacity retention close to90%after 200 cycles.

Covert communication has been widely investigated to avoid the transmission behavior being overheard by the warder. However, covert communication may be illegitimately utilized by unauthorized parties to evade the supervision of authorized agencies, which leads to great challenges to information security. To meet the need for authorized parties to monitor and prevent illegitimate transmission between unauthorized nodes, a novel paradigm, called legitimate monitor, is proposed for counter covert communications. In the preceding covert communication system, the covert transmission rate is the focus. Differently,the core concern of the legitimate monitor system is the outage probability of the transmission between unauthorized nodes, which should be maximized to interrupt the potential but undetectable *** achieve these goals effectively, a proactive guarding approach is proposed, where the authorized warder detects the transmission behavior and emits jamming signals to interfere with the potential transmission,simultaneously. In particular, the jamming power at the warder is optimized under cases where the instantaneous/statistical channel state information is available. Besides, the corresponding outage probability is derived to evaluate the system performance, which can also be simplified to scenarios with a passive *** results demonstrate that proactive guarding outperforms the passive one, especially when the warder is not proximal to the unauthorized transmitter. In addition, the proposed jamming power allocation scheme also outperforms other benchmark schemes.
