We investigate the properties of spin-orbit interaction in the ground state and thermal entanglement of a two-qutrit Heisenberg XYZ system in the presence of an inhomogeneous magnetic field. Using negativity as entanglement measure, we give the dependence of entanglement on each parameter in detail. The result shows that one can get appropriate entanglement by adjusting the magnetic field, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and anisotropy parameter simultaneously.

OBJECTIVE To establish a prediction model of coronary heart disease(CHD)in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus(DM)based on machine learning(ML)*** Based on the Medical Big Data Research Centre of Chinese pla General Hospital in Beijing,China,we identified a cohort of elderly inpatients(≥60 years),including 10,533 patients with DM complicated with CHD and 12,634 patients with DM without CHD,from January 2008 to December *** collected demographic characteristics and clinical *** selecting the important features,we established five ML models,including extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),random forest(RF),decision tree(DT),adaptive boosting(Adaboost)and logistic regression(LR).We compared the receiver operating characteristic curves,area under the curve(AUC)and other relevant parameters of different models and determined the optimal classification *** model was then applied to 7447 elderly patients with DM admitted from January 2018 to December 2019 to further validate the performance of the *** Fifteen features were selected and included in the ML *** classification precision in the test set of the XGBoost,RF,DT,Adaboost and LR models was 0.778,0.789,0.753,0.750 and 0.689,respectively;and the AUCs of the subjects were 0.851,0.845,0.823,0.833 and 0.731,*** the XGBoost model with optimal performance to a newly recruited dataset for validation,the diagnostic sensitivity,specificity,precision,and AUC were 0.792,0.808,0.748 and 0.880,*** The XGBoost model established in the present study had certain predictive value for elderly patients with DM complicated with CHD.

Novel liver-specific nitric oxide（NO） releasing drugs with bile acid as both the NO carrier and targeting ligand were designed and synthesized by direct nitration of the hydroxyl group in bile acids or the 3-Ohydroxyl alkyl derivatives,with the intact 24-COOH being preserved for hepatocyte specific *** biological evaluation revealed that oral administrated targeted conjugates could protect mice against acute liver damage induced by acetaminophen or carbon *** nitrate level in the liver significantly increased after oral administration of 1e while nitrate level in the blood did not significantly ***-administration of ursodeoxycholic acid（UDCA） significantly antagonized the increase of nitrate in the liver resulted by administration of 1e.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the associations of lipid indicators and mortality in Beijing Elderly Comprehensive Health Cohort *** A prospective cohort was conducted based on Beijing Elderly Comprehensive Health Cohort Study with 4499 com-munity older *** the baseline survey,the last follow-up was March 31,2021 with an average 8.13 years of *** proportional hazard model was used to estimate the hazard ratios(HR)with 95%CI for cardiovascular disease(CVD)death and all-cause death in associations with baseline lipid *** A total of 4499 participants were recruited,and the mean levels of uric acid,body mass index,systolic blood pres-sure,diastolic blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)showed an upward trend with the increasing remnant cholesterol(RC)quarters(Ptrend<0.05),while the downward tr-end was found in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C).During the total 36,596 person-years follow-up,the CVD mortal-ity and all-cause mortality during an average 8.13 years of follow-up was 3.87%(95%CI:3.30%-4.43%)and 14.83%(95%CI:13.79%-15.86%)with 174 CVD death participants and 667 all-cause death *** adjusting for confounders,the higher level of TC(HR=0.854,95%CI:0.730-0.997),LDL-C(HR=0.817,95%CI:0.680-0.982)and HDL-C(HR=0.443,95%CI:0.271-0.724)were associated with lower risk of CVD death,and the higher level of HDL-C(HR=0.637,95%CI:0.501-0.810)were associated with lower risk of all-cause *** higher level of RC(HR=1.276,95%CI:1.010-1.613)increase the risk of CVD ***-pared with the normal lipid group,TC≥6.20 mmol/L group and LDL-C≥4.10 mmol/L group were no longer associated with lower risk of CVD death,while RC≥0.80 mmol/L group was still associated with higher risk of CVD *** normal lipid gr-oup,the higher levels of TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were related with lower CVD *** In community older adults,higher levels of TC

Hyperhomocysteinemia and abnormal blood lipids are independent risk factors for stroke. However, whether both factors exert a synergistic effect in the onset of stroke remains unclear. The present study is a retrospective analysJs of 2 089 cases of stroke and 2 089 control cases of simple in- tervertebral disk protrusion using a paired multivariate logistic regression method. Adjusting for known confounding variables including the patients＇ age, gender, smoking status, alcohol con- sumption status, patient and family medical history, and clinical biochemical indices, elevated ho- mocysteine level was related to the onset of stroke. Patients with elevated homocysteJne levels and abnormal blood lipids showed a 40.9 % increase in the risk for stroke compared to patients with normal homocysteine levels and blood lipids （odds ratio 1.409; 95% confidence interval 1.127-1.761）. These results indicate that elevated homocysteine and abnormal blood lipids exert synergistic effects in the onset of stroke. Patients with elevated homocysteine levels and abnormal blood lipids are predisposed to stroke.

Chimeric antigen receptor-modified T cells for the immunotherapy of patients with EGFR-expressing advanced relapsed/refractory non-small cell lung cancer

The successes achieved by chimeric antigen receptor-modified T （CAR-T） cells in hematological malignancies raised the pos- sibility of their use in non-small lung cancer （NSCLC）. In this phase I clinical study （NCT01869166）, patients with epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR）-positive （〉50% expression）, relapsed/refractory NSCLC received escalating doses of EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cells were generated from peripheral blood after a 10 to 13-day in vitro expansion. Serum cytokines in peripheral blood and copy numbers of CAR-EGFR transgene in peripheral blood and in tissue biopsy were monitored periodically. Clinical responses were evaluated with RECISTI.1 and im- mune-related response criteria, and adverse events were graded with CTCAE 4.0. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions were well-tolerated without severe toxicity. Of 11 evaluable patients, two patients obtained partial response and five had stable disease for two to eight months. The median dose of transfused CAR＋ T cells was 0.97x 10^7 cells kg J （interquar- tile range （IQR）, 0.45 to 1.09x 10^7 cells kg 1）. Pathological eradication of EGFR positive tumor cells after EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell treatment can be observed in tumor biopsies, along with the CAR-EGFR gene detected in tumor-infiltrating T cells in all four biopsied patients. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell therapy is safe and feasible for EGFR-positive advanced re- lapsed/refractory NSCLC.

Asymmetric Distribution of Convection in Tropical Cyclones over the Western North Pacific Ocean

Forecasts of the intensity and quantitative precipitation of tropical cyclones（TCs） are generally inaccurate, because the strength and structure of a TC show a complicated spatiotemporal pattern and are affected by various factors. Among these, asymmetric convection plays an important role. This study investigates the asymmetric distribution of convection in TCs over the western North Pacific during the period 2005–2012, based on data obtained from the Feng Yun 2（FY2）geostationary satellite. The asymmetric distributions of the incidence, intensity and morphology of convections are *** show that the PDFs of the convection occurrence curve to the azimuth are sinusoidal. The rear-left quadrant relative to TC motion shows the highest occurrence rate of convection, while the front-right quadrant has the lowest. In terms of intensity, weak convections are favored in the front-left of a TC at large distances, whereas strong convections are more likely to appear to the rear-right of a TC within a 300 km range. More than 70% of all MCSs examined here are elongated systems, and meso-β enlongated convective systems（MβECSs） are the most dominant type observed in the outer region of a TC. Smaller MCSs tend to be more concentrated near the center of a TC. While semi-circular MCSs [MβCCSs, MCCs（mesoscale convective complexes）] show a high incidence rate to the rear of a TC, elongated MCSs [MβECSs, PECSs（persistent elongated convective systems）] are more likely to appear in the rear-right quadrant of a TC within a range of 400 km.

The Tibetan plateau, with an average altitude above 4000 m, is the highest and largest plateau in the world. The frequency of thunderstorms in this region is extremely high. Many indices are used in operational forecasting to assess the stability of the atmosphere and predict the probability of severe thunderstorm development. One of the disadvantages of many of these indices is that they are mainly based on observations from plains. However, considering the plateau＇s high elevation, most convective parameters cannot be applied directly, or their application is ineffective. The pre-convective environment on thunderstorm days in this region is investigated based on sounding data obtained throughout a five-year period（2006–10）.Thunderstorms occur over the Tibetan plateau under conditions that differ strikingly from those in plains. On this basis,stability indices, such as the Showalter index（including SI and SICCL）, and the K index are improved to better assess the thunderstorm environments on the plateau. Verification parameters, such as the true-skill statistic（TSS） and Heidke skill score（HSS）, are adopted to evaluate the optimal thresholds and relative forecast skill for each modified index. Lastly, the modified indices are verified with a two-year independent dataset（2011–12）, showing satisfactory results for the modified indices. For determining whether or not a thunderstorm day is likely to occur, we recommend the modified SICCLindex.
