Segmenting the semantic regions of point clouds is a crucial step for intelligent agents to understand 3D *** supervised point cloud segmentation is highly desirable because entirely labelling point clouds is highly time-consuming and *** the low-costing labelling of 3D point clouds,the scene-level label is one of the most effortless label ***,due to the limitation of classifier discriminative capability and the orderless and structurless nature of the point cloud data,existing scene-level method is hard to transfer the semantic information,which usually leads to the under-activated or over-activated *** this end,a local semantic embedding network is introduced to learn local structural patterns and semantic ***,the proposed network contains graph convolution-based dilation and erosion embedding modules to implement‘inside-out’and‘outside-in’semantic information dissemination ***,the proposed weakly supervised learning framework could achieve the mutual propagation of semantic information in the foreground and *** experiments on the widely used ScanNet benchmark demonstrate the superior capacity of the proposed approach when compared to the current alternatives and baseline models.

Energy efficiency is the prime concern in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) as maximized energy consumption without essentially limits the energy stability and network lifetime. Clustering is the significant approach essential for minimizing unnecessary transmission energy consumption with sustained network lifetime. This clustering process is identified as the Non-deterministic Polynomial(NP)-hard optimization problems which has the maximized probability of being solved through metaheuristic *** adoption of hybrid metaheuristic algorithm concentrates on the identification of the optimal or nearoptimal solutions which aids in better energy stability during Cluster Head(CH) selection. In this paper,Hybrid Seagull and Whale Optimization Algorithmbased Dynamic Clustering Protocol(HSWOA-DCP)is proposed with the exploitation benefits of WOA and exploration merits of SEOA to optimal CH selection for maintaining energy stability with prolonged network lifetime. This HSWOA-DCP adopted the modified version of SEagull Optimization Algorithm(SEOA) to handle the problem of premature convergence and computational accuracy which is maximally possible during CH selection. The inclusion of SEOA into WOA improved the global searching capability during the selection of CH and prevents worst fitness nodes from being selected as CH, since the spiral attacking behavior of SEOA is similar to the bubble-net characteristics of WOA. This CH selection integrates the spiral attacking principles of SEOA and contraction surrounding mechanism of WOA for improving computation accuracy to prevent frequent election process. It also included the strategy of levy flight strategy into SEOA for potentially avoiding premature convergence to attain better trade-off between the rate of exploration and exploitation in a more effective manner. Near-field channel estimation for extremely large-scale Terahertz communications

Future Terahertz communications exhibit significant potential in accommodating ultra-high-rate services. Employing extremely large-scale array antennas is a key approach to realize this potential, as they can harness substantial beamforming gains to overcome the severe path loss and leverage the electromagnetic advantages in the near field. This paper proposes novel estimation methods designed to enhance efficiency in Terahertz widely-spaced multi-subarray(WSMS) systems. Initially, we introduce three sparse channel representation methods: polar-domain representation(PD-R), multi-angular-domain representation(MADR), and two-dimensional polar-angular-domain representation(2D-PAD-R). Each method is meticulously developed for near-field WSMS channels, capitalizing on their sparsity characteristics. Building on this,we propose four estimation frameworks using the sparse recovery theory: polar-domain estimation(PD-E),multi-angular-domain estimation(MAD-E), two-stage polar-angular-domain estimation(TS-PAD-E), and two-dimensional polar-angular-domain estimation(2D-PAD-E). Particularly, 2D-PAD-E, integrating a 2D dictionary process, and TS-PAD-E, with its sequential approach to angle and distance estimation, stand out as particularly effective for near-field angle-distance estimation, enabling decoupled calculation of these parameters. Overall, these frameworks provide versatile and efficient solutions for WSMS channel estimation,balancing low complexity with high-performance outcomes. Additionally, they represent a fresh perspective on near-field signal processing.

However, WUSNs links suffer from significant attenuation as the propagation of the signal needs to pass through soil, rock,and water. Magnetic induction (MI)-based transmission is proposed to overcome these issues as MI signal can penetrate most substances similarly without experiencing high path loss, which ensures the robustness of WUSNs links [1].

On-ramp control is an effective approach for alleviating traffic congestion on ***,there is still a lack of on-ramp control approaches applicable to large regional highway ***,we develop a targeted on-ramp control approach applicable to regional highway networks by taking advantage of the vehicle source information,which pinpoints the on-ramps contributing major traffic flow to the highway ***,a combined and tunable controlling index is proposed to enhance the equity of the generated traffic control *** proposed on-ramp control approach is validated on an actual large highway network using actual travel demand *** indicate that the proposed approach can well mitigate the traffic congestion of highway bottleneck while at the same time enhancing the equity and practicability of the generated traffic control scheme.

Raman random fiber laser(RRFL) is a complex physical system that arises from the distributed Raman amplification and the intrinsic stochasticity of fiber *** analysis of the underlying lightwave kinetics at steady state has been the focus of considerable ***,the transient state,such as the RRFL build-up and dissipation,is particularly important for revealing the lightwave interaction ***,we investigate for the first time the RRFL dynamics at the transient state and track the RRFL temporal and spectral evolution theoretically and ***,with the contribution of random distributed feedback,RRFL build-up exhibits continuous Verhulst logistic growth curves without cavity-related features,which is significantly different from the step-like growth curve of conventional fiber ***,the radiation build-up duration is inversely related to the pump power,and the spectral evolution of the RRFL undergoes two phases,i.e.,from spectral density increase to spectral *** the steady state to the pump switch-off state,the RRFL output power dissipates immediately,and the remaining Stokes lightwave from the Rayleigh scattering will gradually disappear after one round *** work provides new insights into the transient dynamic features of the RRFL.
