Effects of the FIFA 11+program on performance,biomechanical measures,and physiological responses:A systematic review

Background:The side effects of the FIFA 11+program on performance have not been generally *** objective of this study was to synthesize the literature on the effects of the 11+on players’***:Five online databases(PubMed,Scopus,ScienceDirect,Springer,and Google Scholar)were searched(from April 2006 to March 2022)using predefined keywords and *** potential references were primarily recorded through Endnote and imported to *** of the 123 references screened by 2 blinded researchers through the software,59 full texts were assessed for eligibility,33 of which were ultimately *** quality of the studies and the risk of bias were then *** ID,title,place,aim,design,start/end dates,population description,study criteria,statistical analysis,and outcomes were ***:Studies were conducted on male and female players aged 10-32 years *** quality of the studies was moderate to high,and except for unclear bias for blinding outcome assessment,the risk of bias for all domains was ***-term application of the 11+improved most biomechanical measures and physiological responses except for lower extremity stability,ankle evertors time latency,ankle dorsiflexion,and ***,the 11+showed acute negative effects on physical performance compared to dynamic warm-ups and non-significant effects on technical ***:Mid-to-long-term implementation of the 11+improved the maj ority of biomechanical and a couple of physical measure s but showed no effects on technical *** must be observed for using the 11+before competitions,as it could acutely decrease physical/technical *** the contradictory nature of the literature,further studies should evaluate the short-to-mid-term effects of the 11+.Further studies are required to address ankle responses to the 11+intervention.

Objective:To investigate the effects of high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT)on preventing significant weight gain and provide scientific theoretical support and practical guidance for reducing the occurrence of ***:Twenty-four Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups:the control sedentary group(CS),the high-fat sedentary group(HS),the high-fat continuous exercise group(HE),and the high-fat intermittent exercise group(HI).The HE and HI groups underwent five days of continuous low-intensity exercise and eight weeks of high-intensity intermittent *** monitoring included measurements of food intake and body *** automatic biochemical analyzer was used to assess blood lipid and glucose levels,while ELISA kits measured serum insulin and irisin content.H&E staining was used to observe adipocyte ***:In the HS group,body weight,blood lipid levels,blood glucose levels,and adipocyte size significantly increased,while the QUICKI index *** the HI group,body weight,blood lipid levels,blood glucose levels,and adipocyte size decreased,and the QUICKI index *** effects of high-intensity intermittent exercise were superior to those of continuous low-intensity *** the HI group,serum irisin levels did not change significantly after exercise,while in the HE group,there was a slight upward trend in irisin ***:A high-fat diet induced abnormal metabolism in *** effectively prevents metabolic abnormalities induced by a high-fat diet,and its effects are more pronounced than those of low-intensity *** stimulates the secretion of blood irisin,affecting secretion levels,and may represent a novel mechanism for maintaining metabolic *** has important implications for controlling significant weight gain.

In late 2019,heavy restrictions were enforced on public activities worldwide to diminish the spread of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)virus[1].These restrictions,which included school closures and strictly limited sports and leisure opportunities,particularly impacted children and adolescents[2].Lifestyle changes in children and adolescents led to reduced physical activity levels[2,3],increased sedentary behavior[3,4],changes in eating habits,and changes in sleep habits[3].

ADAM8 has been identified as the fibronectin-cleaving enzyme in human degenerative intervertebral disc(IVD)tissues.^(1)Increase of the active form of ADAM8 and its cleavage product,fibronectin fragment,correlated with an increased degree of IVD degeneration.1 Furthermore,fibronectin fragments have been shown to accelerate the progression of IVD degeneration.^(2)These findings suggest that ADAM8 may play a role in degenerative disc disease,a clinical problem with tremendous socioeconomic burdens in the United States.

骨软骨缺损是一个巨大的挑战,目前临床上尚未确定满意的修复策略.尤其是不恰当的修复方法可能导致纤维软骨和软骨下骨的生成,从而导致骨软骨组织的退化,最终导致修复失败.本研究受天然细胞外基质(extracellular matrix,ECM)中固有的化学成分的启发,提出了一种由天然多糖和多肽组成的新型仿生ECM支架,用于骨软骨修复.通过对天然生物聚合物进行修饰改性,形成具有可逆的客体-主体网络和刚性的共价网络的双网络结构,该支架不仅表现出优秀的生物相容性、细胞适应性和生物可降解性,还具有卓越的机械性能以适应骨软骨组织的环境.在兔的骨软骨缺损中,这种受ECM启发的支架不仅展示了强大的促进透明软骨形成的能力,还加速了具有优良骨密度的软骨下骨的再生.此外,新生的软骨和软骨下骨表现出了天然软骨的异质性特征,模拟了软骨到软骨下骨的渐进过渡.这些结果突显了该新型仿生ECM支架在临床应用中的潜在价值.

Adolescence is an important stage for brain *** investigate the effect of different exercise doses on inhibitory control in adolescents aged 12 to 14-year old,an after-school exercise program was offered 5 days per week for 12 weeks during a school ***-four adolescents(17 boys)from the first six classes were randomly divided into low-dose exercise group(LE group,one 30-min aerobic exercise bout per day,n=16)and high-dose exercise group(HE group,two 30-min aerobic exercise bouts per day,n=18),while 23 adolescents(10 boys)in the control group(CON,zero 30-min exercise bout,n=23)were from the last two *** the participants in different classes received the same physical education with the same contents,duration,and intensity at *** the participants completed flanker tests and cardiorespiratory tests before and after exercise *** HE group showed more significant improvements on inhibitory control and VO_(2peak)than CON(p<0.05).Changes in physical activity(PA)were significantly correlated with changes in interference scores(Spearman rho=-0.30,p<0.05),VO_(2peak)(Spearman rho=0.31,p<0.05),and BF percentage(Spearman rho=-0.32,p<0.05).This study demonstrated that effect of exercise on inhibitory control in adolescents is dose-dependent,which highlights the need to focus on the exercise dose in daily life for improving cognition among adolescents.

Phantom limb is a disabling neuropsychiatric condition among amputees resulting in pain and disturbance that impact their functions,quality of life,and *** pharmacological approaches appeared to be ineffec-tive,the emergence and integration of X-reality,including virtual reality,augmented reality,and mixed reality,might elevate the effectiveness of mirror therapy in managing phantom *** objective of this study is to review X-reality for managing phantom pain.A systematic search was conducted on PubMed,Scopus,Web of Science,PsycINFO,Embase,and ***(n=16)studies containing 66 lower-limb and 53 upper-limb amputees were included for the review over the thematic framework of amputee characteristics and intervention designs,while thirteen(n=13)studies were further proceeded for the *** found eleven studies on virtual reality(n=11),four studies on marker-based augmented reality(n=4)and one study on mixed reality(n=1)with a total of 40 game/task themes involving,motor skills,motor control,and ***,all these interventions adopted the movement representation strategies with different ***,the X-reality interventions reduced the pain level of the amputees(mean difference:-2.30,95%CI,-3.38 to-1.22),especially the virtual reality subgroup(mean difference:-2.83,95%CI,-4.43 to-1.22).However,there were substantial heterogeneity and partially explained by the subgroup analysis on publication *** strength of evidence was limited by case reports and case series in this review.
