In this paper,the numerical predictions of 3D hydrodynamics and power consumption in a vessel stirred by multiple eccentrically located impellers are *** vessel is a flat-bottomed cylindrical one equipped with six-curved bladed *** solutions of xanthan gum are used,which have a shear thinning behavior with yield *** in fluence of several parameters on the mixing ef ficiency has been investigated,namely:the stirring rate,fluid rheology,impeller number and impeller clearance from the tank *** predicted results are compared with other experimental data and a satisfactory agreement is found.

The aim of this work is the purification of wastewater by double filtration on granular activated carbon prepared from peanut shells. The samples of carbonized peanut shells were activated with 35% sulfuric acid and finally, we proceeded to the purification tests on double filtration of wastewater. Granular activated carbons (GAC) were very effective for the treatment of turbidity, dissolved oxygen, suspended solids, iron, COD and BOD5 but the best results were observed with nitrite, nitrate and phosphate. However, the second filtration was the most efficient while the lowest rates were observed for pH (17.91% on average), and conductivity (29.71% on average). In addition, this work has allowed increasing the dissolved oxygen by more than 50.16% at the exit of the first filter and more than 105.36% at the exit of the second filter. This study shows that granular activated carbon prepared from peanut shells could be a credible alternative for developing countries in the control of pollution and environmental protection.

Using conventional intra-tumoral radiofrequency ablation(IT-RFA)for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)3 cm or smaller,high local tumor recurrence rates have been reported(up to 20%)despite initial complete ablation rates reaching 95%.This prompted the recommendation of no touch RFA(NT-RFA)for this indication in clinical practice since 2006(1).The rationale of NT-RFA is based on the assumption that the insertion of electrodes no longer inside but deliberately just outside the borders of the tumors could allow achieving more consistent tumoral ablation with safety margins,hence preventing further secondary local progression from unablated extranodular peripheral microscopic tumoral foci(2).

Interleukin(IL)-33 is a nuclear cytokine in the IL-1 family that is constitutively expressed in the epithelial cells of environmentally exposed tissues(skin,gastrointestinal tract and lungs)and endothelial ***-33 is involved in type 2 innate immunity via the activation of eosinophils,basophils,mast cells,group 2 innate lymphoid cells and macrophages through its receptor sT2(also called IL1RL1)[1].Due to the absence of a secretory signal sequence,IL-33 was thought to be passively released during cell necrosis,physical stress or tissue damage and was accordingly considered an alarmin[2].

Pandé is a Congolese fermented food produced from fruit pulps of raffia palm. The aim of this study was to explore the diversities in bacterial communities in the unfermented pulps (control) (PNFL) and fermented pulps obtained from fruits using boiling (PmF) and purchased at markets in Brazzaville (PFL) and using Illumina miseqsup>Tmsup> sequencing of 16s rRNA gene. A total number of 157,054 sequences was obtained and grouped into 737 operational taxonomic units (OTUs). These were classified into 13 phyla, 26 classes, 48 orders, 96 families and 176 genera. At the phylum level, the most frequent bacterial communities were: for PFm, Proteobacteria (38.94%) and Firmicutes (19.37%);for PFL, Firmicutes (69.10%) and Proteobacteria (30.89%);for PNFL, Firmicutes (84.92%) and Proteobacteria (14.22%). were the most frequent in PFL, while Acidobacteria (40.02%), Proteobacteria (38.94%) and Firmicutes (19.37%) were preponderant in PFm. Firmicutes (84.92%) and Proteobacteria (14.22%) were the most common in unfermented pulps (PNFL). Lactobacillus (47.70%) and Gluconobacter genera (15.33%) were the most represented in the PFL sample. Acidipila (35.56%) and Rhizomicrobium (11.41%) were preponderant genera in the PFm sample. Weissella genus was the most frequent in the PNFL sample. Hierarchical cluster indicated that the samples could be grouped into two groups of different origins. PCA showed that main genera were higher in the fermented samples. The diversity was higher in the fermented pulps or Pandé than in the unfermented pulps. Pandé can be a potential source for the isolation of bacteria with biotechnological potential.

The aim of this work was to study the electrochemical behavior of gold electrode which was modified with p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene membrane and this in the presence of different nickel ions based concentrations in order to form a nickel electrochemical sensor. For that, impedance-spec- troscopy characteristics have been investigated. The obtained results were then modeled by appropriate equivalent circuit aiming at elucidating the electrical properties of the modified gold transducer. A correlation between the present impedimetric results and previous potentiometric ones was achieved traducing then a fast ionic transfer.

The major concern of this work is to propose new prototypes of surface hybrid waves, in particular waves propagating without sprawl or deformation on the surface of a fluid. The model considered for this purpose is the modified KdV (Korteweg-de Vries) equation. A peculiarity of the obtained solutions is that they form packages constituted by combinations of waves belonging to the two main families of well-known bright and dark solitary waves. This putting together creates competitions between the different components of the considered packages which, following the values assigned to the parameters of the considered system and in relation to those of the wave parameters, generate hybrid or multi-form structures. The direct method of resolution which made possible the obtained results is that of Bogning-Djeumen Tchaho-Kofane extended to the new implicit Bogning functions. The existence conditions of some solutions are obtained. The numerical simulations carried out with a view to testing the observable and applicable characters of the obtained solutions revealed their stabilities over a relatively long time, and at the same time, confirmed the recommended theoretical forecasts. We are convinced that the solutions proposed as part of this work will make it possible to detect, understand and explain some physical phenomena linked to fluid molecular interactions, former or new, which constantly occur on the fluid surfaces, mainly at the shallow water surface.

The microstructural evolution of a recycled aluminum alloy after equal channel angular pressing （ECAP） up to four passes was investigated using X-ray diffxaction （XRD） analysis and transmission electron microscopy （TEm）. microhardness tests were performed to determine the associated changes in mechanical properties. An ultrafine-grained material has been obtained with a microstructure showing a mixture of highly strained crystallites. A high density of dislocations was achieved as a result of severe plastic deformation （sPD） through the die. Changes in mechanical behavior are also revealed after ECAP due to strain hardening. Thermal analysis and TEm micrographs ob- tained after annealing indicate the succession of the recovery, recrystallization, and grain growth phenomena. moreover, the energy stored during ECAP may be related to the dislocation density introduced by sPD. We finally emphasize the role played by the precipitates in this alloy.
