Battery energy storage systems(BESSs)serve a crucial role in balancing energy fluctuations and reducing carbon emissions in net-zero power systems.However,the efficiency and cost performance have remained significant challenges,which hinders the widespread adoption and development of BESSs.To address these challenges,this paper proposes a real-time energy management scheme that considers the involvement of prosumers to support net-zero power systems.The scheme is based on two shared energy storage models,referred to as energy storage sale model and power line lease model.The energy storage sale model balances real-time power deviations by energy interaction with the goal of minimizing system costs while generating revenue for shared energy storage providers(ESPs).Additionally,power line lease model supports peer-to-peer(P2P)power trading among prosumers through the power lines laid by ESPs to connect each prosumer.This model allows ESP to earn profits from the use of power lines while balancing power deviations and better consuming renewable energy.Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme,ensuring stable power supply for net-zero power systems and providing benefits for both the ESP and prosumers.

We experimentally transmit eight wavelength-division-multiplexing(WDM)channels,16 quadratic-amplitude-modulation(QAM)signals at 32-GBaud,over 1000 km few mode fiber(FMF).In this experiment,we use WDM,mode division multiplexing,and polarization multiplexing for signal transmission.Through the multiple-input-multiple-output(MIMO)equalization algorithms,we achieve the total line transmission rate of 4.096 Tbit/s.The results prove that the bit error rates(BERs)for the16QAM signals after 1000 km FMF transmission are below the soft-decision forward-error-correction(SD-FEC)threshold of2.4×10^(-2),and the net rate reaches 3.413 Tbit/s.Our proposed system provides a reference for the future development of high-capacity communication.

Achieving a balance between accuracy and efficiency in target detection applications is an important research topic.To detect abnormal targets on power transmission lines at the power edge,this paper proposes an effective method for reducing the data bit width of the network for floating-point quantization.By performing exponent prealignment and mantissa shifting operations,this method avoids the frequent alignment operations of standard floating-point data,thereby further reducing the exponent and mantissa bit width input into the training process.This enables training low-data-bit width models with low hardware-resource consumption while maintaining accuracy.Experimental tests were conducted on a dataset of real-world images of abnormal targets on transmission lines.The results indicate that while maintaining accuracy at a basic level,the proposed method can significantly reduce the data bit width compared with single-precision data.This suggests that the proposed method has a marked ability to enhance the real-time detection of abnormal targets in transmission circuits.Furthermore,a qualitative analysis indicated that the proposed quantization method is particularly suitable for hardware architectures that integrate storage and computation and exhibit good transferability.

This study investigates the properties of exciton-polaritons in a two-dimensional(2D)hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite microcavity in the presence of optical Stark effect.Through both steady and dynamic state analyses,strong coupling between excitons of perovskite and cavity photons is revealed,indicating the formation of polaritons in the perovskite microcavity.Besides,it is found that an external optical Stark pulse can induce energy shifts of excitons proportional to the pulse intensity,which modifies the dispersion characteristics of the polaritons.

Due to the excellent self-centering and load-carrying capability,curvic couplings have been widely used in advanced aero-engine rotors.However,curvic tooth surface errors lead to poor assembly precision.Traditional physical-master-gauge-based indirect tooth surface error measurement and circumferential assembly angle optimization methods have the disadvantages of high cost and weak generality.The unknown tooth surface fitting mechanism is a big barrier to assembly precision prediction and improvement.Therefore,this work puts forward a data-driven assembly simulation and optimization approach for aero-engine rotors connected by curvic couplings.The origin of curvic tooth surface error is deeply investigated.Using 5-axis sweep scan method,a large amount of high-precision curvic tooth surface data are acquired efficiently.Based on geometric models of parts,the fitting mechanism of curvic couplings is uncovered for assembly precision simulation and prediction.A circumferential assembly angle optimization model is developed to decrease axial and radial assembly runouts.Experimental results show that the assembly precision can be predicted accurately and improved dramatically.By uncovering the essential principle of the assembly precision formation and proposing circumferential assembly angle optimization model,this work is meaningful for assembly quality,efficiency and economy improvement of multistage aero-engine rotors connected by curvic couplings.

Line commutated converter based high-voltage direct-current(LCC-HVDC)transmissions are prone to harmonic oscillation under weak grids.Impedance modeling is an effective method for assessing interaction stability.Firstly,this paper proposes an improved calculation method for the DC voltage and AC currents of commutation stations to address the complex linearization of the commutation process and constructs an overall harmonic state-space(HSS)model of an LCC-HVDC.Based on the HSS model,the closed-loop AC impedances on the LCC-HVDC sending and receiving ends are then derived and verified.The impedance characteristics of the LCC-HVDC are then analyzed to provide a physical explanation for the harmonic oscillation of the system.The effects of the grid strength and control parameters on system stability are also analyzed.To improve the impedance characteristics and operating stability of the LCC-HVDC system,a virtual impedance based stability enhancement control is proposed,and a parameter design method is considered to ensure satisfactory phase margins at both the sending and receiving ends.Finally,simulation results are presented to verify the validity of the impedance model and virtual impedance based stability enhancement control.

Multiscale Fusion Transformer Network for Hyperspectral Image Classification

Convolutional neural network(CNN)has excellent ability to model locally contextual information.However,CNNs face challenges for descripting long-range semantic features,which will lead to relatively low classification accuracy of hyperspectral images.To address this problem,this article proposes an algorithm based on multiscale fusion and transformer network for hyperspectral image classification.Firstly,the low-level spatial-spectral features are extracted by multi-scale residual structure.Secondly,an attention module is introduced to focus on the more important spatialspectral information.Finally,high-level semantic features are represented and learned by a token learner and an improved transformer encoder.The proposed algorithm is compared with six classical hyperspectral classification algorithms on real hyperspectral images.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm effectively improves the land cover classification accuracy of hyperspectral images.

Encoding system plays a significant role in quantum key distribution(QKD).However,the security and performance of QKD systems can be compromised by encoding misalignment due to the inevitable defects in realistic devices.To alleviate the influence of misalignments,a method exploiting statistics from mismatched basis is proposed to enable uncharacterized sources to generate secure keys in QKD.In this work,we propose a scheme on four-intensity decoy-state quantum key distribution with uncharacterized heralded single-photon sources.It only requires the source states are prepared in a two-dimensional Hilbert space,and can thus reduce the complexity of practical realizations.Moreover,we carry out corresponding numerical simulations and demonstrate that our present four-intensity decoy-state scheme can achieve a much higher key rate compared than a three-intensity decoy-state method,and meantime it can obtain a longer transmission distance compared than the one using weak coherent sources.

Non-intrusive load monitoring is a technique for monitoring the operating conditions of electrical appliances by collecting the aggregated electrical information at the household power inlet. Despite several studies on the mining of unique load characteristics, few studies have extensively considered the high computational burden and sample training. Based on lowfrequency sampling data, a non-intrusive load monitoring algorithm utilizing the graph total variation(GTV) is proposed in this study. The algorithm can effectively depict the load state without the need for prior training. First, the combined Kmeans clustering algorithm and graph signals are used to build concise and accurate graph structures as load models. The GTV representing the internal structure of the graph signal is introduced as the optimization model and solved using the augmented Lagrangian iterative algorithm. The introduction of the difference operator reduces the computing cost and addresses the inaccurate reconstruction of the graph signal. With low-frequency sampling data, the algorithm only requires a little prior data and no training, thereby reducing the computing cost. Experiments conducted using the reference energy disaggregation dataset and almanac of minutely power dataset demonstrated the stable superiority of the algorithm and its low computational burden.
