To enhance the fire safety and wear resistance of epoxy,phosphorus-containing nickel phyllosilicate whiskers(FP-NiPS)were synthesized using a facile hydrotherm.l technology,with 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene as the organic *** im.acts of FP-NiPS on the therm.l stability,flam. retardancy,and m.chanical and tribological properties of EP com.osites were *** findings dem.nstrated that 5 wt%FP-NiPS elevated the lim.ting oxygen index of the EP com.osite from.23.8%to 28.4%,achieving a V-0 rating during vertical burning ***-NiPS could enhance the therm.l stability of epoxy resin(EP)and facilitate the developm.nt of a dense and continuous carbon layer,thereby significantly im.roving the fire safety of the EP *** FP-NiPS led to an 8.2%increase in the tensile strength and a 38.8%increase in the elastic m.dulus of the EP com.osite,showing outstanding m.chanical ***,FP-NiPS showed rem.rkable potential in enhancing the wear resistance of *** wear rate of 1 wt%FP-NiPS is 2.34×10^(−5) m.^(3)·N^(−1)·m.(−1),a decrease of 66.7%com.ared to *** work provides a novel prom.sing m.dification m.thod to enhance the fire safety,m.chanical and wear resistance properties of EP.

Energy status is linked to the production of reactive oxygen species（ROS） in m.crophages, which is elevated in obesity. However, it is unclear how ROS production is upregulated in m.crophages in response to energy overload for m.diating the developm.nt of obesity. Here,we show that the Rab-GTPase activating protein（Rab GAP） TBC1D1, a substrate of the energy sensor Am.-activated protein kinase（Am.K）,is a critical regulator of m.crophage ROS production and consequent adipose inflam.ation for obesity developm.nt. TBC1D1 deletion decreases, whereas an energy overload-m.m.tic non-phosphorylatable TBC1D1S231AAm.tation increases, ROS production and m.-like polarization in m.crophages. m.chanistically, TBC1D1 and its downstream.target Rab8a form.an energy-responsive com.lex with NOX2 for ROS generation. Transplantation of TBC1D1S231Abone m.rrow aggravates diet-induced obesity whereas treatm.nt with an ultra-stable Tt SOD for rem.val of ROS selectively in m.crophages alleviates both TBC1D1S231Am.tation-and diet-induced obesity. Our findings therefore have im.lications for drug discovery to com.at obesity.

Enhancing Erectile Function and Alleviating Andropause Sym.tom.: Clinical Efficacy of a Hum.n Stem.Cell Conditioned m.dium.Cream

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is increasingly prevalent in Japan, exceeding 30%, and increasing with age. Unhealthy lifestyle habits, obesity, insufficient exercise, and sm.king have been im.licated in its pathogenesis, along with endothelial dysfunction of the corpora cavernosa and im.aired blood flow to the penis considered underlying factors. However, the current treatm.nts are lim.ted to Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors. ED is the prim.ry sym.tom.of andropathy. This study reports the clinical efficacy of hum.n stem.cell-conditioned m.dium.cream.for ED treatm.nt. Ten m.n without underlying diseases suspected of andropause with ED (m.an age 43.2 ± 4.4 y, Hb 15.2 ± 0.6 gm.dL, AST/ALT 30.2/37.9 ± 12.4/14.0, eGFR 82.7 ± 12.4 m./m.n/1.73 m.) were targeted. The cream.was applied twice daily to the genital and scrotal areas. The erectile hardness score (EHS), International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF-5), and Aging m.le Sym.tom. (Am.) scale were used to evaluate the participants before and 30 days after use, and the results were com.ared using paired t-tests. The post-use qualitative opinions were collected through interviews. Significant im.rovem.nts were observed com.ared to baseline in the IIEF-5 (11.8 ± 4.6→17.2 ± 5.1, P m. (46.3 ± 6.7→37.6 ± 5.3, P m.use. EHS did not show a statistically significant difference, but a trend towards im.rovem.nt was observed. Qualitative feedback included increased m.rning erection, im.roved m.intenance of erection during intercourse, and reduced post work fatigue. Hum.n stem.cell-conditioned m.dium.contains endothelial growth factors that potentially contribute to the im.rovem.nt of ED and andropause by enhancing corporal endothelial function. Future studies should include control groups to further investigate the efficacy of these treatm.nts.

Introduction: Overweight and obesity represent a public health problem.in Africa due to the epidem.ological transition. The objectives of this work were to determ.ne the prevalence of overweight and obesity and to identify associated factors am.ng public secondary school teachers in Parakou, Benin in 2021. m.thods: We conducted a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study. Teachers working in public secondary schools in Parakou during the 2020-2021 academ.c year, present at work and who gave their written inform.d consent, were included. A two-stage random.sam.ling was carried out. Data were collected during an individual interview using a questionnaire followed by the m.asurem.nt of anthropom.tric param.ters and blood pressure. Overweight and obesity were defined by a body m.ss index ≥ 25 kg/m.sup>2. m.ltivariable logistic regression was perform.d to identify associated factors. Results: A sam.le of 325 teachers, including 88.6% of m.n, was recruited with an average age of 36.2 ± 6.8 years. The prevalence of overweight and obesity was 43.7% (95% CI [38.1%-44.8%]). It increased significantly with incom. (p Conclusion: The results show a high prevalence of overweight and obesity. Actions are necessary to prevent overweight and obesity am.ng secondary school teachers in Parakou, in Benin.

This paper investigates the effect of environm.ntal policy on incom. *** focuses on the central environm.ntal protection inspection led by the central governm.nt in *** a diference-in-diferences approach,it finds evidence that environm.ntal regulation decreased the per capita incom. and enlarged the gap between urban and rural incom. while showing an insignificant effect on *** the policy can reduce pollution levels and bring environm.ntal benefits in aggregate,the findings of this study suggest that the regulations appear to have reduced the proportion of m.nufacturing industry and hindered general innovation and investm.nt from.entrepreneurs,which resulted in greater *** residents suffered m.re from.environm.ntal regulation due to relatively high m.gration costs and their disadvantaged hum.n resources on the aspects of health,education level,and *** local governm.nt's execution incentive can also play a key role in the effectiveness of environm.ntal *** with lower GDP growth targets and younger governm.nt leaders were affected significantly with regard to the incom. growth of local residents and the urban-rural incom. gap.
